One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. staff are so welcoming and helpful. room was nothing short of fantastic. when we booked the hotel as part of a package holiday, we asked for a high floor as it was a 44th anniversary treat (we had booked it for 40th but covid put stop to that). anyway, we got a very nice treat and surprise when we were offered an upgrade on floor 27 suite. the views of the Arenal beach front and the bay were breathtaking. The Penon de Ifach was seen in its full glory throughout the sunrise, afternoon sunshine, and of course the sunsets to rival any you could wish for. this hotel had everything you could ask for. To top it all, we had a bottle of Bubbly delivered to our room compliments of the Hotel Management ***** thank you Suitopia.

Our room was massive and we were upgraded to a suite on the 26th floor. Elegant, comfortable with a large balcony equipped with table and chairs and 2 loungers. Room class can be confusing. They have a double room, which is not 2 bedrooms but single width with balcony, Suitopia, a double room with optional kitchen and double balcony and Suitopia Sea View which I believe is the upper 5 or 6 floors. The building is not on the beach but about 150 metres away although with the height you don't notice it. View is amazing. This was a wonderful experience and the best hotel ever by design and decor. It was the off season so most facilities like the pool were closed. Everything is basic with many upgrades at a price. Nothing in the kitchen works, like fridge, kettle, stove, cutlery unless you pay 20 Euros a day. Coffee maker comes with 2 pods of coffee and 2 teabags but only expresso size cups so too small to place the teabag in. We had problems with the coffee maker chewing up the pods and placing the water in the garbage container instead of the coffee cup. There was a name changed and our GPS sent us to another hotel in the town by the same name.

This is a very, very good hotel. I loved it, I would book it again. However there are some limitations. I’ve been honest in this review because I always read the reviews before booking and I know how useful it can be when people give you all the information. The rooms are spectacular. Really big, with insanely generous balconies. We spent a lot of time on our balcony, there were sun loungers. And a dining table. The pull out airer was great for swim wear. I was really pleased I’d paid extra for the sea view because not only was that view mind blowing, but we got full sun, pretty much all day. And in February, that was very welcome. Plenty of concealed storage for clothes, a slick bathroom with THREE showers and a small kitchenette. Given that the hotel is pitched at families, we would rather have had two proper single beds in place of the sofa bed. But never mind, it was a very comfy sofa bed and it was so useful that the sliding doors created two separate bedrooms. That and the balcony meant we could sit and have a drink and a conversation in the evenings and early mornings without waking the kids. Complementary drinks and snacks had been left for us and thoughtful gifts like pillow spray and a box of dominos for the children. Small boxes of chocolates, spare toothbrushes, everything. The wifi was great. The tv has about five Spanish Language channels, so I appreciated being able to watch YouTube on our devices while lying in the giant bed. The air con / heating works well. The water pressure is epic. Maintenance in the rooms wasn’t the best. None of the usb sockets worked, which was a shame, especially as we had limited travel plug adaptors. The sliding glass toilet door wouldn’t shut and the shower screen leaked all over the bathroom floor. It felt like we were constantly mopping it with towels. The coffee maker was a bit rubbish and leaky; you don’t get a kettle, but you can get hot water from the coffee machine. Although there were tea bags on the hospitality tray, there were no cups provided except tiny little espresso thimbles, so you couldn’t have a cup of tea. We resorted to pinching a couple of larger cups from the restaurant, but the cleaners kept cleaning them away. Overall though, the room was great, so comfortable. Location: The location is unbeatable, right by the beach, an easy walk to the old town, close to lots of bars, restaurants, launderette, post office, supermarket. A short walk along the promenade to the Roman Ruins, the marina, the flocks of wild flamingos, the giant rock. Facilities: The four outdoor pools on the rooftop are exceptional. Two with kids activities, two for actual swimming. None of these pools were warm (it was winter) even the supposedly heated one was really chilly, but the sunny weather encouraged us in anyway. The infinity pool overlooks the street and the beach and is really special at sunset. Perhaps it’s because it was February, but the sun loungers were always left piled high

2nd time here as a family and it was just as nice - hotel is so clean, friendly and comfortable. We are all sad to leave today. Calpe is a beautiful place. Thanks for a lovely stay. Playroom is great for kids, pools chilly outside but indoor one is just the right temperature.

We had a lovely few days staying in Estimar Calpe Suitopia, the hotel is located in the middle of the town and right on the beach. We were on the 19th floor, with stunning views of beach & surrounding area. We had a kitchenette which was very handy, the room was very comfy with all mod cons. There was a nice selection for breakfast to cater for all needs. We didn’t really use the pool as we prefer the beach but it seemed nice. There is a sky bar on the 29th floor. Our 5 year old loved the kids club, the staff there are really good, 👍 they have a wide variety of games, arts and crafts, mini disco etc. So yea a place we would definitely come back to.

This was our first visit to this hotel and we were very impressed. We went with Tui and were upgraded on arrival by a lovely helpful lady on reception. The room we were given was a suite on the nineteenth floor (1901) and all the rooms that end in one not only have a sea view but also look out onto the old town. The room was fantastic with living area and use of kitchen (extra charge) if you wanted it , bedroom with super king size bed which was so comfy with lovely pillows which you could choose how you wanted them . You could even choose how you wanted the room to smell after the cleaning staff had been in . There were robes and slippers and fruit and complimentary water and chocolates. There is a small fridge on the wall which was ideal for the complimentary water every day . There was a safe in the wardrobe which was free and two tv's, one in the bedroom and one in the living area but no English channels . The bathroom had a walk in double shower and a bath with nice towels and complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. It had everything we needed. The balcony was huge with a table and four chairs and two padded sun loungers. There are six lifts which are really fast and we didn't have to wait long for them . The dining room is lovely and we got sea views most mornings. We were bed and breakfast and the food was good and staff were lovely. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds available and the staff were very helpful with getting you a parasol if you wanted one . Some days we were told they couldn't put out the parasols as it was too windy as the winds certainly do seem to whip up around the pool . There is a pool bar and snack bar . The lobby as a bar and plenty of comfy seating around reception. We tried the sky bar which looked nice but the music wasn't our thing . The hotel is very modern with with great staff and we would definitely return

Great stay. Lovely hotel. When arrivved told we were being upgraded which were delighted about! Never been upgraded before. Gorgeous room on 15th floor. Lovely balcony, bed, shower, etc. Fridge not working which we found odd. Asked house keeping staff who explained we had to ask at reception to activate it. Unlike other reviews, we had full access to cutlery drawer as it was not locked. Male staff at reception told us we would have to pay €70 to have use of Fridge and he wouldn't back date and charge for the two days we had already been there. Generous! and an offer we could refuse! Found this situation strange. We couldn't really buy snacks or drinks that had to be kept cool. Apart from this issue we enjoyed breakfast and sky bar amazing. Lovely beach and great shops and restaurants in the area.

Superb hotel. We cannot find fault. From booking in to checking out the staff were pleasant and efficient. Our room was on the 26th floor with an outstanding view of Calpe and the sea. Massive balcony with two comfortable Sun loungers and table and chairs. The room was large and very comfortable with all the little extras you would expect. There were lights everywhere, excellent air con. Twin shower, twin sink and a large tub. I cannot comment on the food as we were self catering. The room had a dishwasher cooker and toaster etc and a starter pack with cloths, tea towel, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablet. The bar staff were friendly and their service efficient. The hotel is in a superb position and the tallest for miles around, very modern. Would visit again with no concerns.
