Well located, attentive and friendly staff, dinner could be improved, full breakfast, clean facilities, room a little old and without views, we were a couple and they gave us a room with two beds, for one night it was fine

We were there for the weekend, the location and the cleanliness of the hotel were great, the pool was great, and on the front line, we were so comfortable that it made up for the fact that the furniture was a little old.
We will be back.

This was our third stay, last Christmas, February and this Christmas. All the staff, reception, restaurant, bar and cleaners. Everyone very helpful and polite. Hotel is lovely and clean, rooms cleaned every day (New Years Day was a shock, late one). Food was different but always something nice and plentiful. Perfect location near beach, but quiet. Booked for this Christmas while we were there. We go to Greece every year in summer and this hotel would be at least 4 star there, some people want 5 star while paying 3 star prices, love this hotel.

Reception staff on arrival, welcoming, professional and helpful Room was very large, clean and comfortable, however a bit tired look but hotel is having a refurbishment later in 2025 so should look good after that. I went All Inclusive and my experience was that the hotel is not used to catering for it and has a predominantly bed and breakfast/half board clientele. Drinks and meals are so reasonably priced that I probably wouldn't bother going All Inclusive next time. I didn't use the spa facilities so can't comment Weather unfortunately not brilliant so I didn't use the outside pool are/facilities either but it looked nice enough, maybe a bit on the small side, might be a fight for a sunbed on a good day. Lovely beach location with some great views and walks, a few shops and restaurants too. Several supermarkets if you need any. (I ended up buying a bottle of wine to keep in the fridge in room) Not a huge amount to do in that exact location if you're an adventurer but it is situated close enough to the old town, historical sites and nature reserves just a bus ride away. Restaurant was basic, again not really catered to All Inclusive. Food very tasty but not a huge variety so another reason to go half board and maybe eat out at lunchtimes. Standard housekeeping daily. All in all a nice little hotel, which I'm sure will be improved after its refurbishment. Good quiet, pretty beach location. I would stay hear again but probably just half board.

we stayed in this lovely hotel in feb, and we could not fault it in any way, our room was very nice and the bed was so comfy, the room was cleaned every day, if you prefer not to have house keeping everyday they will provide you with fresh towels etc, and all done with a big smile and HOL'A, we were looking forward to our 2week stay, but had a medical emergency at home and had to return home after 5 days, jet 2 were fantastic getting us on a flight quickly and the caring way this lady calmed me down while sorting it all out was just wonderful, i will be forever grateful thank you, we hope to visit the esmeralda again soon.

I was in Esmeralda hotel 9 days with family and friends and we all had a great time, I must say food and cleanless of this hotel is really at high level. Staff so friendly and Maria was very supportive and presented high level of customer service. Rooms and gym needs some investment.
