Left after 8 hours. Worst location. We knew we were going to arrive around 11.30pm to midnight. Our flight which was booked as part of the package with On the beach was on time but we had to drive from Alicante, we e mailed reception to ask how we check in if reception is closed and Sabrina said she would wait until midnight for us. We arrived at 11.30pm. All was closed but eventually Sabrina arrived from a nearby apartment and opened reception with an attitude that stunk almost as bad as reception did. we paid her £113 as previously arranged for a room upgrade to one with a balcony. She told us the room number, said keys were in the door and left us to it. It took us 20 minutes in pitch black to find our room with no assistance. We lugged our cases up the stairs and entered the most disgusting apartment. It stunk of stale mop water, had broken radiators, broken toilet seat, mouldy shower, threadbare furniture. We lay on the beds, slept a few hours without unpacking and left the next morning. If that was an upgrade we dread to think what the other rooms were like. Also location wise, miles away from anything. We would've spent a fortune in petrol up and down the mountain lanes trying to find somewhere or something to do.

Traumatised by the experience had to leave less then 5 hours in to our stay and lose the money, nasty woman named sabrina had me in tears. Arrived after midnight in the pitch black impossible to see anything had to use torch on my phone to see. after standing around confused we saw a note on the door thinking it was for us we followed the instructions to what we thought was our apartment. It took us ages to find this apartment we was walking around confused because it was poorly lit we have never been before. when we found it we went in went straight to bed we had 3 children with us. During the night we heard someone trying to get in the room at 6am Then an Irish accent man was banging loudly at 7am I shouted hello he said sorry wrong room and left he'd thought our apartment was his aswel. Then at 8.30 am the apartment door was unlocked by sabrina shouting at us so I jump out of bed startled ran to the door She starts shouting saying we have the wrong apartment. I said we are so sorry we will move straight away she said no don't say sorry to me! She said I have to go down to the hotel pool and tell the other family what we have done wrong. I refused because I don't want to cause conflict with other guest I'm on holiday I didn't want to get in an argument with other guest. Sabrina carried on shouting at me so I told her I don't want to stay any longer i was crying with the stress, if we made a mistake i had said sorry 50 times to her but it wasnt good enough she wanted to publicly berate and embarrass us to the other family. I told her i dont want to stay she said i need to tell her here and now if im going to stay i was crying and said no please leave so i can get dressed and compose Myself, we got all our belongings together walked to reception and handed the keys back sabrina and said we will lose the money. We would rather not stay. She chased after us saying we can't leave and then had the owner on the phone. We explained to the owner we are leaving due to the way we have been treated is unacceptable, and he had no issue and told us it was OK to leave. Sabrina was shouting that much and slammed the reception door so hard behind us. She screamed it is our fault for being late but our plane was on time. Her behaviour was that disgusting my husband said we should film the way we have been treated and at this point she said she would phone the police on us if we filmed her screaming. My kids were scared and my youngest who has autism was holding his ears. There was no ubers available in the area because we were up a mountain. We started walking down the road up a mountain with no pavements. We luckily come across a cafe at the side of the road we ate and the lovely lady rang us a local taxi we managed to find another accommodation it was lovely as it was next to the beach and all the local shops. Sunsea village is in the middle of nowhere up a mountain its impossible to walk down so you need to get a car or taxi and because it

Never have I ever stayed in a place that was so accommodating..my husband and I arrived very early and never thought to request an early stay, however this never a problem, Sabria the lady in charge was warm sweet and courteous, she was so welcoming I felt like I had known her forever, she's just a beautiful person inside and out, tomorrow I leave here very bitter sweet, sad because it's our last day of holidays but happy knowing I will be back here soon to this little gem I will call home from home's for the foreseeable future, we loved it that much..but before I go I cannot stress how wonderful Sabrina was, she was there to help, nothing was ever too small or big a problem, she would rectify it straight away... Like I said before she is a beautiful person both inside I and out I cannot recommend Sunsea village's enough....

Residence far from the village you absolutely need a car. Pretty complex, well maintained, very nice, clean swimming pool. tennis lessons, pétanque court and well-stocked book box. Washing machines and small gym. On the other hand, I rented through GOELIA and be careful, the photos on the Goelia site are a little misleading (they are those of a villa with a private swimming pool, spacious, clear and very pretty furniture) and not that of my apartment with very rustic and old-fashioned furniture. In fact in Sunsea Village there are several types of rental (apartment, villa etc.) you have to look carefully before renting so as not to be disappointed. The welcome was perfect thanks to Sabrina who was always smiling and available and who speaks several languages! One big downside, the young woman who takes care of the cleaning, very nice indeed, does her job poorly. The cleaning is done on the surface, quickly done. the sockets, switches, door handles etc. are dirty.

Nice residence and rather friendly welcome upon arrival, but....some tenants were particularly noisy, like at 2.3 a.m. noise on the stairs etc..and others (good French people) were saying great things racists on their balconies until 1 a.m.! What a shame to represent this France from the very, very bottom in this great country which is Spain with very broad values on diversity! They have nothing to do in this country!

Quiet and relaxing, beautiful view from the accommodation. It's a shame that the swimming pool closes early, 7 p.m. and that the restaurant is very rarely open, with no activities offered during the day or evening. No atmosphere and little interaction between vacationers. Not very secure place, burglaries have occurred. The rental would need a refresh and maintenance as well as certain household equipment would need to be changed. The person at reception is very kind, available and very welcoming and smiling
