"The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The girls making the coffee in the morning were not so friendly though and took 40 minutes to make two coffees. You will need a car to go anywhere as there isn't much to do within walking distance and no real communal areas to enjoy each others company besides the restaurant. Perfect for business trips more than a family getaway."

"I stayed at the Riverview Apartments for a two-night getaway, and it was fantastic! The location was perfect, with stunning views of the river. Room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony while taking in the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend Riverview Apartments for anyone looking for a comfortable and picturesque stay!"

Dirty dishes and food left from last guests.
Staff weren't happy with my requests and didn't supply cutlery at the restaurant.
Card to car park didn't work and no one answered the intercom."

"It was unexpectedly better that I anticipated. Very clean room, close to everything. We stayed at the studio and it had everything we needed. Very clean room even had daily service. It had a walk in wardrobe, good bed, some dining equipment and we had a direct entrance to the pool from our little patio. I saw the waterfront appartments and want to stay there next time when in Caloundra. This is found to be me place to stay on the Sunshine Coast. Thank you for raising the bar and providing with a little extra service at the affordable price point it’s really nice to have in Queensland these days."

"This is a fabulous place to stay. We chose a studio room, with ocean view, and it was really worth it. Although we arrived late, we contacted call staff at the door and they talked us through the check in process. Service was kind and responsive throughout. The only small downside was that the rooms are only serviced once each 8 days. However, when we requested fresh towels they were happy to provide them. The pool complex is lovely - the pool is a little cold for winter, but the spa was comfortable and we really enjoyed the sauna. Breakfast was included, and we had the choice of three cafes in the complex, with delicious food at all three.
We can't wait to return!"

"Great little motel - On arrival - Annie greeted me and was great to talk to.The room was very clean - everything worked well -the Shower was great[good pressure and enough hot water. Easy to find and not far away from a main road - with good amenities all around. It would have scored a 5 for everything - but it is a bit of a walk to the closest beach."

GGuest UserWas greeted by friendly staff. The room is clean and tidy. Pool and jacuzzi is heated and great. The kids loved it and kept telling me to take them back to the resort to go swimming while we were trying to see sights. Short walk to bars, restaurants and beach. We would definitely come and stay here again.

GGuest UserThe room was lovely and obviously fairly newly renovated. The parking was not good - only certain rooms were allocated parking spots and if you did not get one you had to park on the street.
The bathroom was also nice and clean but there was nowhere to put a bathroom bag on the bench and the only mirror was in the bathroom. The cups provided were too big to put in the coffee machine.

GGuest UserBooked in April, 2 weeks after booking renovations started, was not advised of renovations until 3 days prior to stay, was advised work was only Monday to Friday, they started work at 6am Saturday morning. No access to pool or BBQ facilities, no offer of compensation or anything.

HHouriganThe hotel is located in the Sunshine Coast University Hospital Precinct. It is close to amenities such as Stockland Birtinya and only a few kms from Kawana Waters Shopping Centre. Flagship cafe 30 metres away opens for a nice morning coffee.
Hayley at reception was very friendly and helpful on check-in and during our extended stay.
We first had a studio room which was clean & tidy with a west facing balcony. There was no kitchen in the studio which didn’t bother us as we were aware of this. The only thing missing was a dustpan & brush, and a clothes airer rack would be great.
We extended our stay and moved to a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, balcony apartment overlooking the lake which came with a full kitchen. It also was very clean and tidy. Secure undercover car parking was assigned to both apartments. There is a free on-sight laundry should you need it. We found all staff very helpful. The area was very quiet during our week stay and we would happily stay here again.

CCRandom place I must say it’s not a typical pub hotel no one around at check in time had to call reception and wait at the door after calling before to ask how to check in and told to wait until 2. Meanwhile trying to talk over the generators that for someone reason are meant to power this whole complex. Lost power during the night and in the morning. How are you meant to run a hotel or business with inconsistent power source. A hotel that is for people should have power.
