Visited here today for lunch. Found a lovely quiet spot inside through the back.Food is lovely and service was quick. This place was fairly busy for a Tuesday and there were a few families in for lunch too. The pub itself is light, airy and spacious and the staff are friendly and attentive we will definitely be back.

Stayed for 1 night. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Ate in restaurant at night and food was lovely and not expensive. Room was tiny but fine for 1 night. My only gripe would be the bathroom. Mould around shower (neat bleach would remove this) simple. Hairs in shower tray and towel rail didn’t have heat. I feel your bathrooms could be made to feel warmer but adding a little colour to walls and cleaner. No soap in dispenser and empty shower gel supplied. Little attention to detail should be priority. Breakfast wasn’t brilliant. Was dry and hard so had been sitting under lamp for a while. I cook at a nursery so I know when it’s been left out on heat. We would return as regardless of the negatives you do have a lovely place to stay and eat. Just make sure bathrooms are spotless and all I mentioned above, wouldn’t be costly just makes it even better.

Only in for drinks and bar snacks to watch the football. Manger and the rest of the team were super helpful and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. They made sure we were in the best seats to view the football with a TV screen right in front of our Seats. Well done to you all, you are credit to your company!

We had an overnight stay here and stayed in the hotel above the hotel. We had a brilliant meal with family and a great stay, hotel was spotless and exactly what we wanted. Food in the hotel was great. The two front staff members who were on the evening were lovely and enjoyed talking to them throughout our stay. Excellent service and food was great, would highly recommend the pub even if you're just stopping for a drink, but the hotel is great.

My wife and I had the best meal of our trip to Scotland right here at the Waverley Hotel. Callander ended up being our favourite stop on our Scottish road trip and the waverley certainly contributed to that. Do yourself a favour and stop in for a meal and a dram or two.

Popped in after a walk to bracklill falls, can genuinely say it’s the best steak pie I’ve ever had! No joke. The service from the assistant manager (lad with the beard) was spot on, lovely guy. Made to feel at home as soon as I entered the premises. Very very well Done team

Fawlty Towers! The shower was dirty and broken, the plug didn’t fit in the sink! The cooked breakfast was horrible, they ran out of fruit half way through continental breakfast! The room was tiny, no chair, no biscuits. Our cups were never washed! Never again!!!!

We booked a table for 6.00 for 3 adults and 3 children, the chicken wings starters arrives quickly and they were ok. It went all downhill from there we had to ask if our order had been put through a few times as people were being served who came in quite a while after us. We waited approx 50 min after we had the starters before the mains came out, unfortunately the meals had to be sent back as they were cold and beef burger burnt black. It appeared that here was not enough staff on duty to cope with the level of customers. 1 girl serving the bar and taking orders, and 1 man serving the tables, both members of staff were very helpful and apologised about the meals and the time taken to serve them. The replacement meals were below average, we received a refund for the food which was appreciated. Wouldn’t take the chance of eating in the Waverley unless management made some changes to quality of food .
