Everything you need in a beautiful, warm, home setting. Great beds, nice pool to cool down, lovely staff, great garden and views, cozy bar, eggs cooked to perfection! ( I’m a difficult egg person ;) and just as perfect dinner options. Recommend!

good, quiet stay at Calitzdorp, very good dinner at the restaurant, the lodge is closed to a winery, where we did have a excellent tasting of Brandy, whiskey and conac !!!

Such a relaxing stay at Karoo Life Bed & Breakfast. Beautiful pool and stoep area. The breakfast was superb. 😊 I can highly recommend the English Breakfast and Omelette. Lovely pizza made in a wood fired oven. The Salie and Prima pizza was delicious 🍕🔥

Very nice room, pleasant grounds and a great breakfast. Pool area a bit run down but main issue was that we arrived to find the restaurant was closed for the evening, without any prior warning.

A quiet oasis in the Klein Karoo - although the setting reminds of Europe. Equipped with a pool, air-conditioning, safe parking and a restaurant on-site. Madeleine is an fabulous hostess. Our en-suite room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The breakfast enjoyed in the restaurant was at a reasonable price and was served with professionalism and friendliness. Ideal as a stopover in the Port capital of South Africa.

My wife and i had an overnight stay as part of our trip home to Cape Town ,after travelling to the Eastern Cape. We had wanted to stay at the Karoo LIfe previously and were thrilled to finally secure a booking. Our stay was wonderful . The accommodation was clean and comfortable , the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and courteous . What more could one ask for? We will definitely be going back.

The rooms were spacious and tastefully furnished. The hostess is such a friendly person. We arrived at the gust house before dark having set off early from CT and arrived at dusk and she gave us a brief verbal tour of the town and what we could still see before it got too late. She gave us an option of cooking dinner for us or pointed us to another restaurant as an option.
