Valina worked incredibly hard to make my stay comfortable. I was happy to stay at a family owned B&B. While there is no longer free breakfast, there was a kitchen in my room so it was very easy to make tea and food each morning. Would recommend for solo travelers looking for a peaceful stay! As of 2/2025 only cash was accepted, so come with USD or Euros as the ATMs on the island can be spotty.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at the Jacoway Inn with Carol Ann as our host. The room was clean, peaceful and the perfect location for our three-day stay on Dominica. I loved being able to sleep with the doors open and to wake up to the most beautiful breakfast waiting just steps away, complete with local juices, jams, eggs, fresh-made bread and coffee that we savored before heading to nearby beaches and attractions. I am so glad we stayed here and hope to visit again. We drove all around the island and I can say that Calibishie is the best area to stay in and Carol Ann's is a true hidden gem.

I fell in love with the lush and colourful garden of the Jacoway Inn. My favourite pastime was watching the hummingbirds!! Carol Ann is a very colourful character who has many a great story to tell about island life!! I had no car and the BnB is super easy to access on foot from Calibishie village. In fact there are cheap and frequent buses to all parts of the island making it easy to explore. Thank you Carol Ann and Nicki for serving the best breakfasts and making me feel so welcome!!

I've spend 2 night in the little wooden house (choose it, because it's stunning!) With my fiancée. We arrived quite late so we didn't meet Carol, the owner, right away, but we've been welcomed by a man that works with her. The cottage was lovely and had all we needed: net around the beds against mosquitoes, water in the fridge, adapters, wifi etc. The sourrandings and the garden itself it's magnificent.. we enjoyed it so much during breakfast and also in the afternoons, me doing some yoga and Theo just chilling there and working on the computer. About breakfast.. absolutely a plus! Everything was fresh and tasty. Thank you so much for your hospitality

JACOWAY est un lieu magique avec des personnes merveilleuses. Nous avons passé une semaine extraordinaire. Le petit déjeuner est préparé avec beaucoup d'amour et est excellent. Caroll Ann la propriétaire est quelqu'un d'une extraordinaire gentillesse. N'hésitez pas. Allez visiter ce petit coin de Paradis. Pour le resto ne manquez pas le Unique Vue restaurant. Le manager Mikaël est un véritable Être de lumière. C'est un cordon bleu en Cuisine. Côté plage je recommande la plage de pointe baptiste et ensuite faites la visite de la chocolaterie. Ne manquez pas d'acheter les meilleurs tablette de chocolat de la planète. La Dominique c'est pas très loin du Paradis. Take it easy. One love 💕
