Trip was for a family member with a medical emergency (non life threatening). I booked it while still at the hospital and arrived dead tired with an issue - the room I booked was only available for 2 nights. I told them I need 3 nights at least, I didn't care what type of room. They not only upgraded me for free but gave me an incredible discount because my daughter was in the hospital. The only proof I had was my parking pass for the hospital and that was enough for them. It is about a 10 minute drive from the Foothills Medical Centre. I never made it down to the pool or hot tub but the jacuzzi tub in my room worked beautifully! The bed was very comfortable and the suite even had real dishes and utensils! Everything was clean, my suite was quiet and everyone was so nice! It was no trouble to extend my stay (we had to wait for her surgery, no guaranteed date or time). I had two meals at the attached Denny's, service and food was very good. There was a Safeway between the hotel and the hospital so it was convenient. There are 2 gas stations across the street. Front of hotel faces Olympic Park. The only downside was no decaf coffee in the room or in the lobby but that is not a dealbreaker for me. I always pack my own decaf tea anyway. There are plenty of fast food places within a 2 minute walk.

When I first checked in, I said that I only had one room, showed the order number to the front desk, and finally got the room card for two rooms. However, after checking out the next day, I was deducted more than 160 plus, repeatedly looking for Ctrip to check, and finally the hotel responded that I booked three rooms on the spot.

The room is small and has a microwave. Because I only stayed for one night and went to Banff the next day, I chose to go to the side of Banff. The hotel is easier to find. But when I asked about the tourist map at the airport, I asked the local service consultant and asked her to circle the hotel for me. As a result, I was told that the place was not very safe, so I did n’t go out after arriving at the hotel at night. Fainted. However, the surrounding area of the hotel was really deserted. I didn't see the hotel supermarket. Fortunately, we went to the supermarket to buy a bunch directly after renting a car. Dinner and breakfast were all solved. I stayed at this hotel with a friend from out of town during stampede - so we paid a pretty penny for a hotel that clearly needed to iron out issues before opening. My friend and I have chosen to find the humor in it all, but what a journey. Concerns: From the start - they couldn't find our booking and then didn't honor the upgrade to a 2 bedroom room that we had booked. The sofabed was fine - but both nights we had to ask for duvets and pillows for it. - Our first room - the toilet literally was coming away from the drywall to the point we worried it would come right out of the wall, the shower didn't get more than lukewarm, and there was no fan or hooks in the bathroom. We asked for maintenance to come up the next morning -we left for the day and came back to no changes - went back to main desk who informed us that we were being moved - but this hadn't been communicated to us and there were issues finding us a new room. - Second room - dim lighting in bathroom, again issues with water and no fan, deadbolt on the main door did not work and the secondary lock was missing - so definitely safety concerns. In both rooms the cable went in and out consistently and there was no way to connect to a streaming site. In the hallways by the elevators the wallpaper was literally coming off from the corners. Pros: The staff were kind and helpful and the University District area is so lovely and fun. I think this hotel does have potential when things are fixed.

We have an electric car and so when we travel if possible we try stay in hotels that have an electric vehicle charger on site. I always call the hotel directly to confirm as the websites are not always accurate. We called this hotel directly before booking onine and were advised by the woman on the phone (who had to put us on hold while she checked), that there was a car charger in the covered parking area. Great - the only warning was it was first come first served (which is how most are). When we arrived we asked where the vehicle charger was located and due to language issues the front desk person thought we were talking about a car cell phone charger... but another person came over and told us no EV charger on site. That was the whole reason for booking at this hotel and on a long weekend most places nearby were sold out. So we had to change our schedule to go and find a car charger instead of being able to do this at the hotel as planned. We would not have booked had we been given accurate information. And to pour salt in the wound, after we checked in the same person at the front desk who thought we wanted a cell phone charger called to ask if we were satisfied with the room, and I said room was fine but unhappy about no EV charger, he got confused and put us on hold and left us on hold... I eventually just hung up. Poor service. Hotel was clean. Our room was large but very spartan in furnishings and dated except new flooring. Bed was OK and no issue with noise. Shower head was long past its prime so not a great shower. Door into the room was backwards and swung to the open room and not to the wall but it had a door arm on it so you could not open all the way. Thiis made it hard to get luggage into the room as there was a table that limited access. Never tried the included breakfast. Why don't hotels offer the breakfast right until check out time? Why do they cut if off so early? I feel ripped off.

Parking is very convenient, it is already the third time to stay at this hotel, the price is cheap and breakfast is included, the location is also very good.

I stayed here for 5 nights. All the staff from the front desk to the housekeeping and maintenance staff were very efficient and friendly. The breakfast bar was ok with a fairly good variety but was barley warm. The restaurant was OK but expensive for what you get. The first steak sandwich was OK, done medium rare like I ordered, and tender but the second one was tough and medium well done and cold. (I ordered medium rare) I also ordered gravy on the fries and will never do that again. The extra charge for a bit of gravy was $3.00. The drinks were very expensive too. Wine was $1.00 per ounce and a Carona was $9.00. All in all, it was a very expensive 5 days. On the up side though, the hotel was very clean and quiet up to the last night. I also have a handicap license plate so I park in a handicap spot. The last night I got a note on my car saying that I don't have authorization to park there and if I don't move my car, further action will be taken. Apparently the other guests were complaining. I took the desk clerk out there and showed him my HANDICAP LICENSE PLATE that is registered to me. The manager should really do his research before he puts notes like that on cars. Also, whoever complained should look at the license plate before complaining about something they know nothing about. I will stay there again because I like the place and the staff--AND--I'll park in the handicap spot.

profoundly disappointment and frustrated regarding our recent stay at the Ramada Limited Calgary. Unfortunately, our experience was so disheartening and distressing that we have made the difficult decision that we will never again choose to stay at a Ramada hotel. The conditions we encountered at Ramada Limited Calgary were simply unacceptable and fell far below the basic expectations one has when staying at any lodging establishment. The state of the guest rooms, bathrooms, and the overall property cleanliness was deplorable and posed serious health and safety concerns. Given the extent of the issues we encountered, we were unable to utilize the amenities offered by the property, including the absence of a suitable breakfast room. This lack of basic services only added to the overall disappointment of our stay. We had hoped for a comfortable and enjoyable experience, but our time at Ramada Limited Calgary was anything but. The experience has left us with a deeply negative impression and a firm decision to seek accommodations elsewhere in the future.

Near the train station, there are several hotels around. BEST WEST's standardized room facilities and services are comfortable, clean and affordable. Although it is a fast hotel, it is not small, the underground ground can be parked, but the underground garage parking is charged for overnight. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but basic bread, juice, yogurt, milk, cereal, coffee, hot dog sausage, eggs and a little fruit are enough to eat, you can make crepes, children like this.
