Hotels near Rundle CTrain Station, Calgary

Very nice property. The guestrooms are well maintained and adequate for a good night of sleep. Staff and cleanliness are great. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel lounge has a small menu, but great for a dinner or a drink.

First of all location is decent, it is near Sunridge mall, with restaurants close by. Stayed here for 2 nights. First impression is everything. First thing we noticed was building didn’t look like it’s in good shape, and dented trash can in the lobby. Behind the front desk were un friendly staffs during the entire stay. In fact their impression did not even look like they were staffs. They would tell you the bare minimum at check in. At check out a robot could of done a better job. 2nd day at 9am we asked for more towels, as they only provided towels for 2, even though we had 4 guests. Without asking for our room number was told housekeeping would make their rounds. However we received an email prior to check in there’s no daily housekeeping. If we require towels to request by 10am the day of. Which we did, but was told we are incorrect. So who’s telling the truth? Or again is front desk staff being lazy? Also don’t bother with the Marriott app, the staffs at this place does not check the messages. They do have a fitness centre, pool, whirlpool on site. We did see several dead bugs in the pool, so pretend it’s an “outdoor” pool. Only had 1 pool towel left for the 4 of us, again called front desk, apparently the “nice” gentleman says its not their responsibility to stock pool towels. What is this hotel and their towels? Another nice amenities is they do have, coin operated washer/dryer located in the parkade level. I’m glad we didn’t have to use it. Imagine asking the front desk for change? They will probably blame their guests for not carrying change in a society where’s it’s mostly cashless. The room is clean. They did place a bottle of water in the room which is a nice touch by the hotel. House Keeping staffs were very friendly. Good job housekeeping crew! However I can’t tell if the room we were in are renovated or not. Some of the furniture looks updated but some weren’t, the mattress was uncomfortable. The bathroom is clean, sink is updated, however the Bath tub and towel looks old. The black out blinds are good. Bottomline housekeeping did a wonderful job, however designer did a horrible job. One elevator was not working during our entire stay, so only one elevator to serve the entire hotel. Again NEVER mentioned at time of check in. If we didn’t have toddlers and stayed on the 6th floor, would of been faster to take the stairs. Breakfast was included in our rate, for guests who’s rate does not include breakfast, It does cost $15.99 per person Buffet style. I wouldn’t recommend paying for it, as the spread was horrible. Also day of check out, we saw dead bugs on the fruit tray. Upon brining it to their attention they brushed it off at first, eventually replace it with a new plate.but bad for guests who’s looking for that extra protein. The plane was canceled and I found this hotel. The room is clean and tidy, and the service is friendly. However, if you want to stay here, you need to bring your own toothbrush and slippers. The hotel does not provide it. The distance from the hotel to Calgary International Airport is about 32 dollars by uber. It is not very close. This The distance shows five kilometers. I think it is more than that. It takes about 10 to 18 minutes to drive. This information is for your reference! By the way, there is no pick-up and drop-off machine, so you have to trade taxis yourself

A really unwelcoming receptionist was on duty when I checked in. Grumpy and used unfriendly tone when we discussed. The room was quite big, but what an awful filthy floor! The carpet on the floor was full of dog hair and generally smelly. The bed was ok, but it was not evenly leveled between left and right side. I almost fell of the bed on one side. The bathroom was ok with hot water. The wifi was strong. The breakfast was just a sandwich, a donut and a juice. That's all. Cheap stay for a hotel, but not for a demanding guest.

I have stayed at many hotels in Calgary but this is my go to unless my work books us. The staff here are great and service in general is awesome. I like the selection of ppv movies including one's still in theaters. The restaurant and lounge are nice as is the free airport shuttle. The best rooms are the king bed rooms on the 5th floor.

This was a quick stop over hotel for us and we had no expectations. We were presently surprised at how nice our stay was. There was no shuttle from the airport but they have taxi vouchers to pay for your cab. The pool was the highlight as it was a nice temperature and they have a huge slide! We had ana amazing dinner next door at the little Italy Garden (highly recommend). The room was clean and spacious. Che k in was quick. Breakfast was free and had a little of everything.

There is not much noise, but the house keeping next door will hear the sound after nine in the morning. The room was clean and tidy, spacious enough, no smell, and enough sockets. There is no heating but there is a blower system to adjust the intensity. Equipped with microwave and refrigerator, shampoo, body lotion, face and bath soap, no toothbrush and body lotion. There are pacific mall, Datonghua Chinese supermarket, pho and jolibee fried chicken next to the hotel. It takes about ten minutes by taxi to dt.

We stayed here for 2 nights labour day long weekend in a king bed suite. There were so many little issues that if management cared to address them, would increase their rating and make the stay for guests so much better. First, we booked our room for 2 adults and 2 children, and still had to call down for more towels as only 2 was provided. We also had to call for bedding for the sofa bed as none was provided. It's like they didn't even look at our preferences or booking information to prepare the room accordingly for us. Second, it was just chaotic and unorganized. There was no parking at all when we would return in the evening. No parking in the underground garage and no parking outside. For both nights, we had to go to the front desk at which point, the manager would try and tetris all the excess vehicles into whatever possible spaces she could find. The breakfast area was overcrowded and dirty. Overflowing garbage bins, coffee ran out by 9:30am, then ran out of napkins, forks, etc. Not well prepared at all. What also didn't make sense was the made to order station. What a waste of staff when they are already clearly understaffed. It seemed like an attempt to control the consumption of their protein selection for the day eg. bacon or sausage. On our first morning, the made to order breakfast was bacon and egg croissant breakfast sandwiches. On the 2nd morning, it was an avocado and egg mcmuffin with a side of sausage. They should just have these all premade and out along with the rest of the buffet. Then you wouldn't need someone to staff that made to order station and just have them help out with the rest of the buffet by ensuring that tables are wiped, garbages are emptied, coffee and utensils etc are replenished. Third, for a hotel at pretty much capacity that weekend, they had one working elevator. There wasn't even a sign for the broken one, but you can tell that it was out of service since there was no light. We ended up using the stairs since the wait time for the elevators was ridiculous. Also, it looks like they are trying to update a few things as noted by all the plastering and painters tape. Yet we didn't see anybody working on these issues and overall, it was just an eye sore. Honestly, unless things improve, we would not stay here again. On the positive side, the room was spacious.

Our flight departing Calgary was cancelled for 24 hours so we were put up in this hotel by the airline. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, special shout out to Stacey in the lounge who worked so hard to make sure everyone whose flight was cancelled was fed and full of drinks! Also special shout out to the chef that night, he was alone and still managed to get all the delicious food out in a timely manner! These two really stepped up and made our rather gloomy stay much more enjoyable! The rooms were clean and comfortable, big soft pillows on the beds and you could control your own room temperature. The front desk staff also accommodated a late check out for us as we had so much time to waste the next day. Thank you to the staff, you’ve really worked hard to turn our trip around!

First of all, affordable, hygienic, old hardware, free Wi-Fi and free parking, very close to the airport and the city centre. We are traveling by car, so we don't feel far away when we go to eat. Breakfast includes bananas and snake fruit, American muffins made by yourself, bread slices, cooked eggs, muffin cakes, donuts, milk tarts, oatmeal, coffee pot, orange juice. There is no breakfast for the Chinese. We stayed in a twin room, the bed was large, and the family with two children lived without problems, no extra bed needed.
