Calgary Hotels with Wi-Fi

The hotel was a great choice. It is close to the airport and the fairly close to the downtown. The room is wide and includes amenities as described when booking. The bathroom is wide too. Cleaning is done on a daily basis, if requested. We tried the breakfast and would preferred if it included a wider variety of options (cheese options for example, olive, vegetables as cucumber and tomatoes).

The whole experience was average. the service was good. on first day we got the water bottles in the room but the other day there is no water bottles. and food we didn't get there as the restaurant is under renovation and we took take outs and had in our room.

The front desk was very nice and I saw her in a happy mood the whole day. The room is clean and tidy, with a wide view outside the window. Breakfast is a collaboration with the restaurant on the first floor, a Western-style set meal, which is unique and delicious.

I chose to come to the same hotel near Calgary airport every year when I land and the night before flying home, because it is just brilliant! After a friendly and efficient welcome, you get a big, immaculately clean, tastefully decorated bedroom & bathroom, with a big comfy bed (or 2), a big desk, coffee maker, fridge, microwave & a big tv. Those are the most important things for me, but on top of that they have a big pool, a hot tub & a gym (that I have no intention of using while on holiday) AND a decent unlimited breakfast included. And all of that for an amazing price! Plus they have a shuttle to the airport if you need it. Best value hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Show that you care! The hotel is new, beautiful and well located. The breakfast room is impressive with its size, tall ceilings, views and terrace. The breakfast itself is great with its variety, including waffles and a delicious South Asian(?) vegetable stew each day. The suites are large and well equipped, and the bed comfortable. Now if only the staff could treat customers a bit better. We paid $30 for underground parking, which was important to us because we got an upgraded rental car and were liable for it. On the second day, the garage was completely full, with more cars entering the garage - thanks to a broken capacity indicator that permanently shows 208 spaces. Staff basically blamed it on the fact that the garage is a private facility unrelated to the hotel. They sent us to two nearby surface lots. One was only available till 8:00 at a cost of $22.52. The second one was a dirt field. 1. I don’t care whose lot it is. You sold me access to it at an extortionate price and did not mention any other options, implicitly endorsing it. 2. Don’t sell more spaces than you have, especially at that price. 3. Know and explain options. Don’t direct your customers to a lot that only sells space till 8:00 for over 3 times the price as the next lot. You are wasting my time. Then at 4:00 am, we were woken up by a loud motor noise coming from the fridge. We had to move it and unplug it (it’s a full size fridge, not a hotel fridge). The clerk’s reaction? “Sorry about that, I’ll tell maintenance.” We had one night parking taken off the bill. No consideration for the hassle both from the parking and the fridge. You can do better. Better policies, better communication and a bit more generosity. Overall, not a good experience.

Although I checked in early in the morning, they arranged the room for me, which was very helpful. The location is also very convenient, near the downtown train station.

The hotel is old, the location is convenient to walk to the downtown. Few restaurants around the hotel but the convenience shop downstairs only open few hours. The room is average so not too big. Our water was not hot enough so the manager changed another room for us, so the issue resolved on spot, thank you so much. Overall experience was good.

I have stayed here more than once, Gray Eagle Hotel is as good as ever, and the Chinese food and buffet are beyond expectations. I strongly recommend everyone to stay here!

Amazing hotel! Super comfy, clean and new. 15min drive to calgary airport, under $100 a night for 2 queen beds at level 8 with unblocked view. Best we could find in the area. Wish there was a hot tub though! Restaurant below had fantastic food and service. Only less than satisfied part was the check in process - pretty troublesome to have to provide hardcopy ID, hardcopy credit card with name that matches your ID (debit not accepted) for incidentals. Will be better if they could use the card which was used to prepay the hotel room.

The room type is not what I pictured. The room environment shown on Ctrip is very different from the actual room environment. The wooden cabinet facing the bed and the double-layered curtains made me feel like I was in a horror movie. I woke up several times and only slept for five hours. I regretted why I believed the pictures and chose this hotel instead of paying a few hundred yuan more to go to another hotel and barely sleep during the transfer. The front desk answered all my questions and had a good service attitude. You can refer to the pictures we checked in and the pictures provided by Ctrip.
