This Fairmont is located next to Calgary's main landmark tower. The hotel has a history of a hundred years, but there are few old photos showing the history. Parking at the hotel is not free and is very expensive at $55 per day. The hotel as a whole is relatively small, with few public places.

The 30-square-meter room is good in size and has newer facilities. The bathroom is small, the toilet and shower facilities are old, and the bathroom fan is noisy! Everything else is good, worth recommending!

The hotel is a legendary hotel that opened in 1913 and has been 110 years ago. It is the same hotel where Queen Elizabeth stayed. The front desk upgraded the room type to a top floor room. The room has a large usable space, the bathroom is large, and the equipment is LeLabo. The gym and swimming pool are on the B1 floor of the hotel. The swimming pool is not large, but the temperature of the pool is very comfortable. What impressed me most about this hotel is the Hawthorn Lounge on the first floor of the hotel. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just one step away from Calgary Tower and Wonderland Sculpture; the room service is fast.

There is also a bathtub in the guest room that is rusted, and the edge of the toilet is not clean and cannot be described in detail. The TV is the most old-fashioned, there is no smart TV, and it is incomparable with others at the same price. Finally, although the hotel is located next to the Calgary Tower, the hotel's own parking is not convenient and expensive. It also borrows the parking space of the Calgary Tower, but someone helps you go to the third floor of the Calgary Tower next to it, and you drive by yourself. The stop price is less than half what they charge. The location is not safe to go out at night, there are many homeless people around, we ended up ordering takeaway to the hotel lobby. Fairmount has always been one of our favorite hotels, with a long history and nostalgia, but this one is really not flattering. Not recommended, not self-occupied.
