Quick overnight stay on transit with travelling and flights delayed. Great hotel and customer service. Good shuttle pick up. Very clean rooms and well maintained hotel. Recommend it. Friendly front desk. Would stay here again. Breakfast is included.

The location is too bad to find, the hotel is on the highway side, I saw that I couldn’t get in. I took a few laps to enter the hotel area. The hotel is located in the airport development zone of the airport. There is basically no one. No car is sure. . The hotel is newly built, the price is low and the facilities are good.

I booked the Westin to cover me for a late flight into Calgary. I was able to move my flight to an earlier time but was inside the cancellation time for the hotel, so I stayed the night. The hotel presents well from the exterior, smells of freshness and clean when you walk in, and the lobby kept clean with newer furnishing. I checked in and went directly to the restaurant to get food before they closed. The prices were decent for an airport hotel with limited offerings near the location. I ordered the Mahi and it was cooked properly, tasted wonderful and the sides were just as good. The cheesecake was good but reminded me of the multi-wheel cheesecake you get at Costco. It was good but paled in comparison to the Mahi. The waiter was a younger guy that was engaging, had stories about working for Marriott, his travels and places he still wants to see. Overall, a great end of the day dining experience. Once I got to the room, it was very nice. With my status and an upgrade coupon, I was able to get an upgrade to a suite that had a nice, large shower and tub in the suite. There was limited noise from outside to interfere with sleep. The bed is the typical Marriott set up providing a good nights sleep. The TV was a nice size and the controls for lights and heat easy to access and use. The following morning, I was up for breakfast. The good experience from the previous night, at the same restaurant, was smashed for breakfast. I arrived to a 'wait to be seated' sign so I waited for 5-7 minutes watching the waitstaff serve and clean tables. There were 3 active tables, 7-10 tables to be cleaned and three waitstaff in the area. Once I was able to get one person’s attention, he wanted me to sit at a table that had not been clean from the previous customer. I found a clean table with no silverware with expectations that the waiter would see I need silverware and bring some to the table. Once I was seated, the waiting continued. Even if they were busy, which they were not, a flyby to say ”I will be there shortly' is expected. After waiting more than 10 minutes, with all of the waitstaff walking in and around me, I held up the menu to get their attention. One said, 'I thought you were taking that table' to the other person’s reply 'no, it's yours'. I ordered but the staff did not write down the order. Before he left, he asked me again what I wanted so I repeated it and said 'it is ok to write it down' but he said he was good. I handed over my free breakfast coupon before he left. When he brought the coffee, he confirmed the order and had it wrong. Third repeat of the correct order to the waiter and the food still came to me wrong and I had to retrieve my own silverware so I could eat. I had already waited 20+ minutes on getting food so I ate what they brought to me. What was prepared was good but not what I ordered. I stayed here for 5 nights. All the staff from the front desk to the housekeeping and maintenance staff were very efficient and friendly. The breakfast bar was ok with a fairly good variety but was barley warm. The restaurant was OK but expensive for what you get. The first steak sandwich was OK, done medium rare like I ordered, and tender but the second one was tough and medium well done and cold. (I ordered medium rare) I also ordered gravy on the fries and will never do that again. The extra charge for a bit of gravy was $3.00. The drinks were very expensive too. Wine was $1.00 per ounce and a Carona was $9.00. All in all, it was a very expensive 5 days. On the up side though, the hotel was very clean and quiet up to the last night. I also have a handicap license plate so I park in a handicap spot. The last night I got a note on my car saying that I don't have authorization to park there and if I don't move my car, further action will be taken. Apparently the other guests were complaining. I took the desk clerk out there and showed him my HANDICAP LICENSE PLATE that is registered to me. The manager should really do his research before he puts notes like that on cars. Also, whoever complained should look at the license plate before complaining about something they know nothing about. I will stay there again because I like the place and the staff--AND--I'll park in the handicap spot.

Very nice property. The guestrooms are well maintained and adequate for a good night of sleep. Staff and cleanliness are great. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel lounge has a small menu, but great for a dinner or a drink.

We were on our way to Mexico and had to overnight in Calgary. Hotel had free shuttle and it was available all day on the hour. Our room was quiet and the staff excellent. Our stay was short but we were treated like our business was appreciated. They let us know our room was ready by email. It has an on site restuarant with other options near by.

Great service. I called ahead to request a late check-in because my flight was delayed, and they had someone at the desk when I finally got there. They also helped me get a new room key card when mine wasn’t working properly. The hotel is also in the heart of downtown and close to a C-Train station.

Love this hotel, good location, close to the airport but far from the street, very quiet. There is a large parking lot. There are gas stations and Chinese supermarket nearby, which is quite convenient. The room was large. Our shuttle flight was chosen twice.

Our flight departing Calgary was cancelled for 24 hours so we were put up in this hotel by the airline. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, special shout out to Stacey in the lounge who worked so hard to make sure everyone whose flight was cancelled was fed and full of drinks! Also special shout out to the chef that night, he was alone and still managed to get all the delicious food out in a timely manner! These two really stepped up and made our rather gloomy stay much more enjoyable! The rooms were clean and comfortable, big soft pillows on the beds and you could control your own room temperature. The front desk staff also accommodated a late check out for us as we had so much time to waste the next day. Thank you to the staff, you’ve really worked hard to turn our trip around!

We stayed here for 2 nights labour day long weekend in a king bed suite. There were so many little issues that if management cared to address them, would increase their rating and make the stay for guests so much better. First, we booked our room for 2 adults and 2 children, and still had to call down for more towels as only 2 was provided. We also had to call for bedding for the sofa bed as none was provided. It's like they didn't even look at our preferences or booking information to prepare the room accordingly for us. Second, it was just chaotic and unorganized. There was no parking at all when we would return in the evening. No parking in the underground garage and no parking outside. For both nights, we had to go to the front desk at which point, the manager would try and tetris all the excess vehicles into whatever possible spaces she could find. The breakfast area was overcrowded and dirty. Overflowing garbage bins, coffee ran out by 9:30am, then ran out of napkins, forks, etc. Not well prepared at all. What also didn't make sense was the made to order station. What a waste of staff when they are already clearly understaffed. It seemed like an attempt to control the consumption of their protein selection for the day eg. bacon or sausage. On our first morning, the made to order breakfast was bacon and egg croissant breakfast sandwiches. On the 2nd morning, it was an avocado and egg mcmuffin with a side of sausage. They should just have these all premade and out along with the rest of the buffet. Then you wouldn't need someone to staff that made to order station and just have them help out with the rest of the buffet by ensuring that tables are wiped, garbages are emptied, coffee and utensils etc are replenished. Third, for a hotel at pretty much capacity that weekend, they had one working elevator. There wasn't even a sign for the broken one, but you can tell that it was out of service since there was no light. We ended up using the stairs since the wait time for the elevators was ridiculous. Also, it looks like they are trying to update a few things as noted by all the plastering and painters tape. Yet we didn't see anybody working on these issues and overall, it was just an eye sore. Honestly, unless things improve, we would not stay here again. On the positive side, the room was spacious.
