Castillo Playa

I stayed at Bungalows Castillo Playa solo for 4 nights. I wont repeat other reviews but I was really happy with my stay. Yes, its dated, yes there was a bit of dust here and there and my bathmat wasnt spotless, but I had everything I needed, including the lovely patio with table, 2 chairs, umbrella and 2 loungers. I did take my own blow up mat for the loungers and it worked fine and made them comfy. I brought it home with me so I can use it again next time I visit. The ladies running the bar/restsurant are lovely and the location was safe and close to town/beaches. I will be back!

All very easy with jet2, flight, transfers, people on the ground making the travel part seamless. The acommodation was lovely and clean with everything you need in the kitchen area. Shower was great with hot water and fresh towels everyday. We had a patio table, chairs and 2 sunbeds on the verandah, excellent wifi for the children. The pool was large, clean and quite quiet considering children were off school. Restaurant on site was reasonable with lovely food etc. The reception was welcoming and cleaners brilliant. Close to everything. There was plenty to keep the kids happy, watersports etc in the resort with lots of nice reasonable restaurants. We all really enjoyed. Thankyou to all the fantastic team at the castillo playa.

The bungalow is dated however has all you need including AC and is very clean.Fantastic Location and the staff is very friendly especially the cleaning ladies.Would recommend to anyone,we will definitely visit again.

We have visited on many occasions and this place never disappoints. The accommodation is dated however has all you need and the ladies that clean are fabulous. The bar/cafe staff are all superb and food and drinks all at very reasonable prices. Perfect location for the beach and bars/restaurants.

The rooms need gutted and redecorated the bar staff were excellent very helpful and food was great .no umbrellas buy the pool if you want one you have to go to the china shop and buy one . Nobody sits by the pool for that reason . The complex is in a great position .but as I just said the rooms are in at terrible state they are dirty the towels are like dishcloths you have to put shoes or slippers on as you feet will be black in 2 minutes

Stayed here for 9 nights. On arrival reception was closed but we were aware and informed that security would have our keys. When we arrived we were shown to our accommodation. The accommodation is showing lots of signs of wear and tear inside and outside the accommodation. The bungalows were cleaned and housekeeping staff very friendly. There are no real issues with the complex but there are cockroaches but these are all around the area and not because the hotel is dirty. To improve the accommodation I recommended new furniture and better sofa beds. About 3 min walk to beach and 4 min walk other way into town. This is a place I would be happy to return if the price is right
