Elba Palace Golf Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

Lovely quiet, relaxing environment. Rooms large, beds very comfortable. Breakfast had really good choices. The evening meal is buffet selection for starters and dessert, mains select from the menu. Bar areas relaxing, cocktails good quality. Pool area good, pool furniture could do with a refresh, but this won't spoil your holiday. Location around 20 mins walk to sea front or free bus ride if you don't want to walk. If you want a fly and flop holiday with golf, you can't go wrong. All the staff are helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful hotel. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff are fantastic. Private spa is an absolute must, I can’t recommend this enough. Onsite gym is good, could do with some more equipment.. but it did the job. The food is sublime. I would highly recommend staying here.

Outstanding service from the minute we arrived to the moment we left we couldn’t fault the Elba Palace and its staff. Truly if you want a 5star relaxing break with superb golf and where nothing is too much trouble then you can’t go wrong. Have booked again for February which is unusual for us.

We stayed at the Elba Golf Hotel on the 1st August 2025 Romm 207 The Golf Hotel is a really lovely clean hotel with lovely facilities especially if you are into Golf Room Was very spacious and clean and the Bathroom was very spacious and lift and airy. It has his and hers washing sinks a shower plus a lovely big bath with shower attachments We had clean towels every day In the bathroom the hotel supplied lovely little extras like Shaving and dental hygiene packs The only downside was we had no balcony just sliding windows which over looked the Golf course Restaurant The food was very nice breakfast was buffet style with lots of choices. Dinner was Ala Carte with buffet style starter then a good choice from the Menu for the main meal. Desert was also buffet style again with plenty of choices from cakes fruit and ice cream. The hotel only had entertainment a couple of times while we were there so it as very quiet at Dinner time a bit too quiet for us and we tended to go into the Calleta Defuste Centre This was a 30 minute walk from school way or a Taxi was €5 each way There is a Shuttle bus at certain times of the day which was a good way to reach the centre but the last Shuttle was at 18:50om All in all we had a lovely holiday the pool area was very clean and quiet during the day and Sun Beds were no problem Lastly all of the Staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant and bar so a big thank you to Laura Tania Nurey The most helpful and friendly people you would wish to meet Hers to next time xxx

This Five Star Adult Only hotel ALLOWS CHILDREN AND BABIES!!! On the Saturday of our stay there was a 13 hr wedding with children running and shouting through the hotel and babies crying. The manager could not care less and yet the hotel is 250€ /ngt. Definitely not worth and should probably be avoided

We have stayed at the hotel a number of times and have rebooked for later this year. Only doing this review as snowed in at home and don’t do reviews in general. I really like the overall experience the hotel provides. However… although the plus points exceed the negatives there are some annoying issues. Location, building style and vibe are tremendous. Dinner is 8 out of 10, a few more veggie/ chicken dishes would raise it. The buffet starter is the best. On the other hand breakfast is 6 out of 10 at best. Egg station is great. The cooked food is cold and some non Spanish style bacon would improve it (I know this Spain). The orange juice machine is a messy experience and that’s when it works (even guests reviewing the hotel as 5 stars must agree). The pool has many missing tiles (been like that for years). Loungers around the pool are dated. The pool attendant is always cheery and love meeting up with Elba the cat when we stay. The staff in general are great but look over worked and always rushing about. It doesn’t give the best impression. Also the bar service is very slow in the cafe and next to the dining room at night. You can wait 10-15 minutes to be served. More staff are needed and perhaps that’s why a lot of the dining/ drink staff look harassed and unhappy. It’s not 5 star Dubai or American style service. I would also note that the rooms are stylish, the maid service every day is amazing and they are all very cheery! They do stand out. One main gripe on our last tip was we asked for a later checkout, normal is 12 noon and we asked for 2pm as our flight was at 6pm. I won’t mention the receptionist’s name but we had an unpleasant conversation, were lied to about the hotel being full to get us to go away and were told the only option was to book another night stay to extend the room by 2 hours! It was a sour end to our trip. I fully accept it’s not always possible to accommodate such requests but the manner we were spoken too was unacceptable. As I say we have booked again for this year and hopefully this person will have moved on to a career that suits them better than hospitality. Interestingly as many say in these reviews it’s the small things that count. It’s not far away from being perfect and it’s annoying it’s not but sorry it’s not 5 star at present. We are golfers and travel a bit. The restaurant is called St Andrews. A visit there by senior management/ owners and they would see what the difference is and what 5 star means in terms of staff attitude at least. The sun is always out in Fuerte though!
