I went for a weekend break but I couldn't rest, sleeping is impossible. I woke up with my body covered in small ants. They were everywhere but especially in the bed. I tried to get rid of them and go back to sleep but it was useless. They came back every time.

Do not waste your money. Upon arrival at lunch time we was told we could eat from the all inclusive until 7pm dinner time then we could have lunch on the day we left (5pm) Got to the room that was very basic, only one plug socket, take an extension lead with you. No air con either. The shower was broken and sprayed to the other side of the bathroom leaving the tilled floor wet through. The toilet leaked leaving the bathroom smelling like urine. 3 out of the 4 days the room wasn’t cleaned. Reported to receptionist as wanted clean towels to be told I was lying. 3 times I had to report the key card not working even the cleaners card didn’t work. The receptionist stormed upstairs shouted at her then finally sorted the problem. When it was raining there was buckets all around the receptionist area as the water was leaking in. The snack bar is a food warmer at the end of the bar with a few burgers and hotdogs in, you had to ask the bar staff to make you a burger you could not help yourself. No matter how big your party size is you are only allowed to 2 drinks from the bar at a time. Kids are not allowed any sort of floats in the pool. 500 room hotel and only 14 sunbeds available, 3 of which are broken and can not be used. No options bar pasta and chips at meal times for kids. On the day of check out you had to be out the room at 10am, your band is changed to a yellow one. I went to the bar for a coke at 12.30 for my daughter to be told no you can’t access all inclusive after 12.we only got picked up at 5pm.

Don’t get fooled by the fact they’re the cheapest… there’s a handful of the reasons for that. The hotel feels like the worst UK’s council estate holiday camp. You can forget about sleeping ( we like to party and we’ve been pretty much everywhere, but this place takes everything to another level 🤣). There’s no hotel entertainment, not even quite music in the evening by the bar. One barman most of the time who’s also a cleaner, lifeguard and security man at the same time. Let’s not talk about the food, as even chips are cooked in the oven and still come uncooked. The worst hotel we’ve ever seen. You don’t know the life until you’ve stayed at Terramar 🤣🤣🤣

A great hotel despite all the bad reviews. Lovely pool and location close to the beach and shops. Different foods to eat and if you ask they do a childrens menu for under 10s like chicken nuggets and chips etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely stay. Only downsides would be small rooms and no aircon so buy a fan and not a very good choice of snacks included.

- no aircon - half the food was horrendous and half cooked - if you come here prepare to eat out - the pool was nice but not many sun loungers - walking distance of shops of and beach literally 2 mins away. - good cocktails and drinks Pool opens at 10 and closes at 8 Bar opened at 10:30 and closed at 11:30

It’s the best……. I went to this hovel with an elderly aunt and my disabled children. I was dismayed by the lack of attention by reception staff, but further disturbed by the fact that we all had to share…… the same bed! Although auntie and I are very close, this was a bridge too far! I have since recovered from the botulism and salmonella which was diagnosed during my related hospital stay, I am very annoyed that I paid over £30 per person per night, for the privilege. Luckily I enjoyed the early flight home and the hint of digorrea that stays with me…. Constantly….. I would fully recommend this hotel as a cost effective alternative to Dignitas! I loved my stay!!!

Wanted a quiet getaway. Great location, near the beach. Used the train nearby to travel to Barcelona and some fabulous beaches with no crowds. The hotel was dated and had no air con, but food decent and Rosa, Gloria and Bruno made my visit better by telling me all the best places to visit. Had a great time and was in a great location to venture away from the madding crowd. Great base for travel, lovely local restaurants and old town was beautiful.

We stayed at this hotel with our son his wife and their combined 4 children. He had booked two Quadruple Standard rooms (these are not even listed on the website so no pictures available) due to the size of out party (4 adults and 4 children aged 6, 7, 11 and 15). When we arrived at the hotel around 23:40pm (after being dropped off on the main road (only the drivers tip of google maps as directions) and not outside the hotel) we were told that no drinks were available unless we wanted to purchase them from the vending machine. Once we opened the door to the room the heat hit us only to find out that there was no air conditioning in either of our rooms and only 1 pillow on each bed. I asked at reception about more pillows which I was given but was told that Quadruple Standard rooms do not come with air conditioning. No fans were offered to us so we had to go and buy one for 45 Euro for each room. The following morning at breakfast it became apparent that the dinning room was uncomfortably hot with only a few ceiling fans down one side of the room, non of the small selection of food was labeled and the poor staff struggled to keep up with everything from cutlery to food. At reception I asked to speak to the manager and was rudly told that my request would be passed on and that the manager would come to speak to me. This was on the 8th August and by the time we left 8 days later I still had not been able to speak to the manager even though I requested this more than once at reception. The food on offer was a very small selection at all 3 meal times plus you did not know what was on offer and the snacks were microwaved burgers or sausages. If you suffer from any allergies you were totally in the dark as the staff only spoke very little english. I can honestly say that this was the worst ever hotel that we have stayed in!!!!!

My advice would be stay away from this hotel! What you would normally expect from a hotel is far from it! Food was a small selection and if you don’t like it you don’t eat, the rooms are small and not aircon and they don’t provide fans, balconies that are not in closed for privacy! The doors slam at night because you can not put the handle down so the only way to close them is to slam them, the disco happens on a Monday and Thursday, to which the music is loud, if your on the 1st floor near the disco I feel sorry for you, the beds are rock hard! Only allowed 1 pillow, lift doesn’t work correctly, no air con, receptionist are rude, there’s only a few sunbeds around the pool, the only good thing about the holiday was the beach! Won’t be booking here again!
