GHT Balmes, Hotel-Aparthotel&Splash

My pillows stank of sweat I had to use a T-shirt as a case. Couldn’t get the safe to work, couldn’t get the phone to work. The pool was very cold, could have been heated. Positives, food was great, amenities for families is good. Nice pool bar which provided drinks and food. Also nice play area near the bar. receptionists could have been a bit more friendlier

Lovely hotel. Very modern. Stayed Bed and Breakfast. Had a large selection of food to chose from, both cooked, and continental. About 3 minutes walk from transfer drop off point, and 10 minutes walk to beach. 15 minutes to train station. Only negative point I had, was a couple of groups of school kids booked at the hotel on the same week. No fault of the hotel though. Overall a good experience and nice hotel. Would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at GHT Balmes. The hotel has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is clean, well-presented and friendly. The staff go above and beyond to keep guests happy. The pool area is lovely and relaxing and the snack bar is reasonably priced and has lots of options. The breakfast and evening meal options are good and we enjoyed both during our stay. The hotel is a short walk away from the centre of town, the beach and the train station. The English breakfast was not to our taste but all the other breakfast options were great especially the pancakes! There was an issue with movement on the laminate floor panels in the corridor outside our room but this did not cause any problems and it was clear the hotel were on with sorting this out. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations and we would certainly stay here again.

Where do I start!! Food poising from uncooked chicken on first day! Pool is freezing Flys all round the pool landing on u all the time! People banging on hotel room doors passed midnight No lifeguard even with lots children present! No entertainment AVOID!!!!

We have just returned from a week at GHT balmes and we have honestly had a very plesent experiance - One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed at! - we were half board breakfast had pleanty of choices from ceral, fry up, cold meats, baked goods and more. Dinner again one of the best hotels weve stayed at there was not 1 night where there was the same there were always options for kids (chips, chicken nuggets, pasta, fish fingers) they did have a spanish night, burgers, paella good for fussy eaters as there eas always something. - staff were nice and helpful on reception - pool bar was well priced for food and was very good quality we ate there everyday - rooms are clean and fresh bed was comfy - location, is close to beach shops and trian station all withing a 5 min walk and very flat! Only down falls were - half board meal times were 0730-0930 and 1930-2130 which in my opinion is quite late and people with children did struggle with the timings. - shower was very on and off very hot and cold - the pools are FREEZING all the children end up in the jucuzzi as its the only bareable place for them to go - the staff at the pool bar were nice but i did find i would often be stood being the only person waiting to be served and they would be stood chatting and wouldnt acknowledge i was there for around 5 mins Overall this was a great holiday and the downfalls mentioned are minor in comparison to the great things about this hotel i would reccomend for anyone to come here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
