This review is for the Budget Inn in Caldwell. I took a trip from Indiana to Washington State to attend my son's wedding 💑. I visited many hotels on the way there and back. This one, by far, was the worst. I am not a complainer. But it was the worst, maybe in my whole life. And it was the most expensive!!! It was like a whole in the wall. The sheets were itchy, the blanket was thin and fly away. I could not figure out how to turn the TV off. There was no way to make coffee. None available at the desk. The whole aura of the place was nondescript and the proprietor was a just take it or leave it person. I had just driven through the Oregon Badlands where it looked like The Hills Have Eyes movie was cast. I would have left but too tired and it was the only hotel in sight(in my eyes at the time) very discouraging.
