An amazing find. All you can do here is RELAX, relax, relax... and be in awe of the environment and the renovation of this once time factory. Room very comfortable - we were in the adjacent house , not the main building. The pool is fed by the river, and is very cold. The steak I enjoyed at dinner was the best meal of the trip. Its a long way out of Caldas de Reis if you're walking though!! I'd have liked to have had tea & coffee making facilities in the room.

This was the most amazing stat in our 6 weeks away spanning the Uk, Portugal, Spain and France. The location and grounds were breathtakingly beautiful. The service was second to none. The rooms were a delight and tempting to stay inside

A place to stay relax. Impressive location and excellent service!! The gardens and the river were to fall in love!! Every bench in the garden offered a different refreshing view. The owner was present every day and the personnel was impressively courteous.

Excellent hotel in country setting. If you want tranquility you will find it here. Very peaceful setting. Beautiful river run next and throughout hotel grounds. Wonderful breakfast. Rosana and all the staff very nice, helpful, and professional.

If I could rate this with more than 5 stars I would - this place is a dream from the gardens to the rooms and the staff so welcoming and helpful. The peace that you feel while walking around the river and sitting by the fireplace observing that fire are unique. I highly recommend that you stay here.

I can’t say enough about how unbelievable this experience was. The grounds of the property are insane, from the wrap around view of the river, the natural pool, the numerous places to relax and beautiful interiors, it’s all amazing! The staff are phenomenal and even offered laundry service to have our clothes ready to go by early the next morning! Dinner and breakfast were excellent! If you are visiting the area or walking the Camiño this is a must stay!!

Beautiful property! Too bad we only spent one night. This hotel you will want to stay longer. It feels like you are in a very fancy country mansion! Bed is comfortable and food is delicious! Staff was a pleasure and made us feel welcome!
