Soiled linen on sheets and Soiled Carpet throughout the room Soiled mean there is a possibility of body fluids also Matters on Bed is them old coil spring which id's bad on the back. Bath tub dirty. The walls are so thin you can hear people conversation and when your in the shower you can hear people conversation. Then when I would leave my room I would put my TV on 2 channels and when I come back one of the channels have changed and TV still on so that meant someone changed the channels because i left the do not disturb sign on the door and im not talking about like when you turn tv off and turn it on tv go back to default channel Not right no one should go in your room when a do not disturb sign is left on the front door because this happens twice. I brought this concern up to the front desk person Richelle I hope i got her name spelled right. FREE COFFEE RUN FROM IT. AWEFUL IS NOT THE WORD TO TELL HOW BAD IT TASTE FIRST THE COFFEE IS WATERED DOWN IT GETS BAD FROM THERE. TO the Manager Dar Pan or DP your motel 6 is a GARBAGE DUMP UNCLEAN AND UNSANITARY. I RECCOMEND STAYING SOMEONE ESLE AND NOT HERE EVEN THOUGH IT CLOSE TO THE Army Base DON'T STAY RUN AWAY!!!!! But even the place is a DUMP two employees that went above and beyond to help out but to go the EXTRA MILE to get it right when it is not there fault. Richelle and Phil. Two employees that truly don't mind stopping what ever to help you out.Motel 6 got two GREAT employees Richelle and Phil you Rock thanks for all your help. If it wasn't for those two employees i would left that DUMP.

Absolutely horrible! Welcome to the era of covid 19 travel! With the world on lockdown not being able to go pretty much anywhere for the Fourth of July weekend 2020 ; yes it is right ! 2020 ! (I have not being able to catchup believe it or not) I decided to do whatever was possible and travel to what was available at the time without leaving my home state of New York due to travel restrictions so what better time to see something I always wanted to see; the archipelago located on the St Lawerence River at the border with Canada known as the Thousand Islands, also famous for the namesake salad dressing. It was hard to believe that amidst the plummeting travel industry at the time hotels downtown were outrageously expensive therefore I needed to search for more “budget” friendly accommodations within the area, that’s how I landed at Candlewood Suites, what a fiasco! The property is completely ran down beginning with the chairs at the front desk, although I have nothing to say or complain about the hotel staff which were very accommodating the building itself has way to many issues beginning with bugs inside the room. I had requested immediately to be moved to a different room thinking that this will resolve my problem, I was wrong! The same problem persisted Hotel staff is very attentive, cleanliness is not that impeccable but at least the staff tries to make it up for everything else the property is lacking. Hopefully a year after these factors had changed

Looks like an overall new hotel. Booked a room through Hotwire and got a wheelchair accessible room with a king bed. Very clean, and basic. Bed was comfortable and shower worked well. The breakfast is basic but there’s lots of restaurants nearby if you want something more. Very easy drive to Watertown. Overall was fine for one night.Check in was very pleasant.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed here and never disappointed. Even during the dark days of COVID we were treated with respect and everything was tip top clean! This trip with grandchildren was exceptional. Pool time, and visiting Clayton for boat tour and making memories.

I always like to talk about the infrastructure of the room and not the interactions with staff or the core. Be aware that the one bedroom is not really a one bedroom, but a room that is broken up by a partition. The bedroom area is quite small and only enough room for a bed while the living area is also very small in size. The heating and air conditioning unit is directly beside the bed, and I turned off the heat for the whole night since I could not sleep with the heating unit on. The room must be well insulated since the temperature in the room did not fall below 68°. The room did not get that cold considering it was early January. I was able to hear the dinging of the elevator early in the morning and late at night. Be sure to ask for a room farther from the elevator. I was directly beside the elevator. There was a mini fridge and a microwave in the supposedly one bedroom. In summary, it was an adequate place to stay on my own. I would not recommend it for groups of three or more due to the small size.

We’ve used this hotel several times to stay while visiting family. It’s centrally located, near I 81 with east on/off accessibility. Close to restaurants, shopping and such. The hotel itself is clean. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is professional and friendly. What else can you ask for.

It's affordable and conveniently located. The breakfast was standard. The bed was uncomfortable, the shower curtain in the bathroom wouldn't stay put, so the floor would get wet. There were also a lot of kids or teens running up and down the hallways at 10pm and yelling loudly. The worst part was staff barging in unannounced. Upon check-in, I confirmed with the front desk that I had requested a travel crib for my son. They said it hadn't been placed in the room yet (which it should have been), and said they would send it up shortly. Twenty mins after I got into the room I was using the restroom when I heard two quick knocks and the door open. It was housekeeping or a staff member with the travel crib, but I had no way of knowing that because I was in the bathroom and couldn't answer the door, and I couldn't just get up and see who it was. This was beyond inappropriate. They knocked and didn't give me any time whatsoever to answer the door, and after they opened it didn't even bother to announce themselves and say 'housekeeping with the crib' or whatever. As a woman traveling solo with a child, that terrified me. There are far better ways that could've been handled, such as the standard protocol of actually waiting for the guest to open the door before barging in or calling ahead to the room (or my cell phone) to ask if it's okay to bring it up and put it in there if I'm not in the room. If they had honored the reservation request and just put the crib in there prior to check-in this could have been avoided. Unless it's an emergency or the usual housekeeping, staff should NEVER enter a guest's room without letting them answer the door first.
