We loved our holiday at Calas Park, staff were all so lovely and great facilities. We did all inclusive, food was good. I’d say what you’d expect for a 3 star hotel, restaurant was clean and there was lots of variety. Breakfast got a bit samey, lunch and dinner was better. Pool is great for kids, although a bit cold to start with!! My daughter loved the kids club, and the staff were so lovely. Entertainment is good, with a disco every night for the kids. Lots around the hotel too, shops, bars and restaurants. My only slight ****** is that the shower goes in and out of hot and cold, at times scolding hot then freezing cold not great when you’ve got little ones. There are lots of step to the rooms and pool and bar areas, this didn’t matter to us but worth noting if you’ve got mobility issues or buggy’s etc. I’d highly recommend Calas Park, a perfect little family holiday.

I've started and re-written this review three times now, as I want it to be a positive review of a hotel and holiday that we all enjoyed and it ends up sounding negative each time. This hotel isn't perfect and for each positive there's a negative. It's just in general that each positive is a big positive, whereas each negative to go with it is something that could/can/should be overlooked. I'll show you: Positive: Great fun pool area. Both kids loved it and we had to drag them anywhere else, even the beach! Negative: Tiles missing around the pool edge/between small and big pool. Simply, be careful. Positive: Room was large, with second toilet and shower, making getting ready of a night so much quicker. Table and chairs a nice touch. Always good to have a fridge. Negative: Pillows were near non-existent, we used extra duvets to make our own. No net curtain to allow natural light without losing privacy, turn on the lights and make do. Positive: Breakfast until 1200. Decent level of food (not always going to be to everyone's taste). Hard working staff in restaurant (and everywhere else). Negative: The breakfast did get very samey after 10 days, but there's only so much you can do for breakfast, right? Maybe more fresh fruit. Positive: The views from reception, the pool and some of the rooms out to sea are amazing, because the hotel is located on the cliffs, right by the sea. Negative: There's lots of stairs, because the hotel is located on the cliffs, right by the sea. As to the steps, by my reckoning there are three double flights of stairs to get from the pool/bar level at the bottom up to reception at the top. (The one that made me laugh is after doing all of these stairs you've got to go down a flight to get to the restaurant.) I think, although I never tested the theory) that there's a ramp that runs down the side of the hotel taking you the same. Negative: The cleaning isn't the most thorough you'll ever find and bedding is often remade rather than changed. But they kept the ants out each day and kept it acceptable. Positive: The cleaners work tirelessly throughout the day, every day. We were leaving our room at various hours of the afternoon and whenever we returned the room had been swept and straightened and made in to a welcoming space again. Positive: The air con! My days, we had condensation on our door it was doing such a good job! Negative: I couldn't figure out how to set the temp, so it was either subzero or off. But we got that working for us anyway. So, in conclusion, I think it really depends on your outlook of things. If you want to go and have a cheap, no nonsense, relaxing holiday with children (I'd not go without kids), with the general benefits of an all inclusive, and be somewhere designed for that then you'll find the Calas Park fitting for you. If that doesn't sound like your type of thing, look elsewhere.

The hotel rooms are some of the nicest and cleanest I have stayed in, the food however is extremely poor and the choice is too, my family and others say the same and have been ill from it, I actually saw a restaurant worker fixing the drinks machine with her teeth. The animation team work really hard all day and night to make sure kids and adults are entertained. The pools need maintenance there is stagnant water near the kids end and the drainage is not working so it stunk, the bottom of the pools are full of sand and people can drink and do whatever they like as the lifeguards don't care, they don't even watch they just sit at the pool bar talking to the bar workers smoking with headphones on or looking at there phones. It wouldn't take much to bring it upto a really good standard, if they improved the food and added snack facilities near the pool as it's over 140 steps from the pool to the restaurant and back down again and cleaned the pool drains it woul be at least four stars for me, but as it is I wouldn't return.

Having read the reviews before coming we were excited for our stay at Calas Park despite the negativity of "the amount of steps" we assumed that maybe it was not so bad. In truth for families with young children that require a stroller, do not book this hotel. There are no lifts or ramps you will literally have to carry your buggy down flights of stairs. Stairs from your room to the reception two floors, reception to pool area 4 floors, reception to across the road for dinner, yet another flight of stairs. It was a truly exhausting experience, my calves are well defined though. Other annoyances - you have a kitchenette but no cutlry, cups, glasses nothing, not even a kettle, you can hire a kettle for 10 euros deposit, same with the TV remote... The policies are so outdated and stupid beyond belief, it's 2023 last I checked the black market for used kettles and TV remotes is not buzzing. Some reviews rave about the food, we found it lacklustre, pasta pizza and the same old pork everynight. In the end we skipped lunch and just did breakfast and dinner. On arrival you redeem cups at the bar, you have to keep these all week to use for all your drinks, it's worth taking some dish soap as the swilling out of the cups at the bar doesnt quite rid the dirt. The staff were helpful the room was clean and cleaned everyday, the pool is a nice area and the mini club was good for the little one (3). The location and views were perfect.

My Girlfriend and I stayed at the HSM Calas Park from the 22nd-29th September 2023. We have been to Majorca once before, on my 50th Birthday, but only for 3 nights. ( near to Palma). We didn't realise how large Majorca is, when we booked this hotel. We knew we were on the east side of the Island, but thought we could get to Palma in about an hour. This isn't the case. We couldn't book any proper trips with Jet 2, as we were too far away for them to collect us. We do like to get out and about, rather than just lay by the pool. Anyway, we arrived just after lunch time at the hotel, but the serve snacks after lunch, so we got something to eat and drink. Our first evening meal was ok. We didn't get down to the restaurant until 20.15. We were still eating our sweet/pudding at 21.00 when a waiter came over and told us to leave, as the restaurant is now closed. He was quite rude. I have never had that before. Normally you get 10-15 minutes grace. He then went over to everyone else and said the same thing. He may of had a bad day, but that was just out of order. We finished our drinks and left. The rest of the week, we made sure to be out before 20.30! Something else we noticed was, most guests were taking their plates to the cleaning stations, and putting the waste food in the bin. Then putting bowls or plates on the pile, and cutlery in their place. We ended up joining in on the second day, until we left. Quite funny really, doing their job for them! The hotel is quite nice, with a lovely view of the sea. There are lots of stairs, and no lifts. If you struggle with mobility, then I suggest looking elsewhere. We were in room 434, right opposite the reception. When you check-in, make sure you get your chitty for your beaker. This was the most annoying part of this holiday 🙄. If you want a drink, you have to have a beaker or your own reusable cup. It happened a few times, where we had been out for the day. Went to the bar for a beer, and then had to go up to the room, for the beakers! Other places we've been use beakers, but you put them in a collection box, and get a new one when you go to the bar. They are saving on paying someone to go and collect the beakers. You don't get towels for the pool at this hotel, so please take your own. This wasn't made clear anywhere in the hotel information on the Jet2 website. We had to go and buy 2 towels. Back to the restaurant now. We managed to find something for breakfast and lunch. The evening meal was more of a struggle, and we aren't picky eaters. One night they had Rabbit on the menu! Alot of the food was lukewarm, but we didn't starve. There's no fresh fruit at breakfast. They put that out at lunch and evening. Bizarre! There is no view from the restaurant either, which is a shame as we like to people watch. There's no snack bar near the pool. All food is served at the restaurant. You won't put much weight on, as the stairs will keep you fit! Our room was very nice. Lovely view. We didn

This hotel is lovely, but not suitable for anyone that struggles with steps/stairs, as there is a total of 72 of them from to bottom, these start at the reception and go down to the pool and bar area, and the restaurant is located in a different building opposite the reception area. The view from block 1 looking out over the sea is stunning, which costs extra. The sitting room are spacious, having a small kitchen area with a fridge is a bonus. Bedroom could be a little wider, as moving around the beds can be painful on the shins if not careful. Bathroom with a walk in shower is an bonus for someone who struggles to get in and out of a bath. Food is limited, the breakfast food was found to be tepid, when it should be hot, evening meals were a bit better and we did manage to find something to eat most nights. Evening entertainment consists of the animation team entertaining the kids till 21:00 ish, then you get a form of bingo with the prizes being hotel labelled caps, t-shirts, rucksack and a bottle of fizz, then there is either a music quiz, pick a song and they play it or some other form of entertainment from a professional act.😣 We didn't make to the beach, as it consists of more steps down, which means you need to climb up again. 🙁 Overall the place is lovely and clean with friendly staff. Sorry, but due to health issues, it was not the right place for us. Note, these points were pointed out to the rep as well, as the steps are not pointed out in the brochure or on the website for this hotel.

Great Hotel, the reception staff, very kind, helpful and friendly, the cleaning staff make an amazing job not only in the bedrooms but the whole hotel is spotless, good food and friendly staff in the restaurant, the bedrooms are massive, huge, two bathrooms and comfy beds, the bar and bar pool also great. Nice pool, and a beautiful beach 5 min walk from the hotel, great experience, we'll be back for sure.

Just got back from a lovely week away with my partner. Highly recommend this hotel for an affordable break. Steps - the hotel is built on a cliff with stunning views, so expect lots of steps and walking, but as a young couple, we were fine with this. Food and drink - had no complaints about the buffet and food was available pretty much all day. Read some bad reviews about the food. It is classic buffet food and not very authentic Spanish (meat, chips, salads, veg, fresh fruit etc) but there was always something we liked to eat. Drinks were good too, with numerous cocktails, all spirits, sangria and slushies included within all inclusive, just beware of the very strong spirit measures! There is also an ice cream machine by the poolside bar where you can help yourself. Room was clean and tidy with a glimpse of the sea. The hotel location is great, just 5 mins walk to the beach, with a beautiful cliff path going along the coastline. A few bars, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. We used the local bus and took a trip to Porto Cristo which is a 20 min journey and less than €5 each way. Was a great day out seeing El Cuveas del Drach and lunch in the marina. Hotel entertainment is what makes this place. Rudy, Nadya, Ivan and Maria made every day fun. Lots of activities during the day for kids (mini club every day and night) and adults and then evening entertainment too, including water polo, bingo, table tennis, dance shows etc. Only activities that cost extra was the bingo (€1 a go) and the kids pony riding (unknown cost as we didn’t travel with kids). They also do daily competitions by the pool area and you win certificates that are awarded in the evening. Little bit cheesy but fun none the less. Overall, for the affordable price, we were really pleased with our time here! Would highly recommend for couples and families.
