Osborne Holiday Resorts

We have previously stayed in this establishment maybe 4 years on the trot. So thought it would be nice to return and see the staff and old friends. We were met by old staff Rocky, I believe Mr Kumar and both Rajs were not there. It was like a ghost town, nevertheless we thought if we have to pay for a sunbed and drinks that’s fine. How, shocked were we to be told by Rocky for guests only. This is the second establishment we were turned away from.(Now before anyone states we are currently residing in a hotel with a pool) Sometimes nice for a change of scenery and to catch up with old friends. I would have thought this place is screaming out for custom, but appears not. I don’t know how long this place will stay open, spoke to two English couples who vowed never to return. In their words they said it brings basic to a whole new level. I expect Rocky was only repeating what he’s been told by management, but were the business acumen?? Left shocked..

Really really dated hotel. Not one of those dated ones that you can say has an "old school charm" about it, it's just very run down. Feels and looks very dirty. I stayed in peak season and the hotel was absolutely dead (January 2025) Pool is dirty and didn't see anyone in there, hardly anyone even uses the sun beds, saw the same guy a couple of days, that's it. No security safe box in the rooms, they have lockers downstairs that you can access between 8am-8pm which isn't ideal (and they charge you 50 rupees per day for the privilege!) NO WIFI in the hotel other than reception area is absolutely terrible in this day and age, it doesn't even reach the pool area, literally just the reception area. There seems to be chickens and roosters breeding somewhere within the property and this is very noisy. They said it was in the neighbouring block, but felt like it was next door to me as it was that loud.Very annoying. Cheap on paper, but massively overpriced for what is on offer. You can get much much more for your money elsewhere. I paid for 6 nights, but left after 2 nights to move to a other hotel because it was that bad

Location and food is good but some residents are also staying in resort so you won't get feel of resort. I would suggest to go with antara resort at same price. Property seem to be converted from residents flat to resort.

Think twice and thrice before booking this hotel, cleanliness is not even there in the room, what they show in the pictures and what you get is totally different you can't even imagine, i had checked out within 12 hrs of stay and also raised a complaint, its still under process. Total waste of money for me, not recommended at all.

I found this property on mmt, the property is good family stay and couple stay, have swimming pool, big bed, fridge in the room and good servicing people, though there is no room service but rest is really good and would love visit again the place and refer my friends and family

This is like 1. 2 kms from the main calungate beach so location is good. You have all the market within walking distance. The rooms were clean and ac was working fine but the overall feel was like an old resort. There is no room service and the pool was dirty. Overall we were looking for a place to crash and we were all boys so it was decent but if you want to relax, have a room service you gotta look for an alternative place.
