Calais Hotels with Bars

The location is quite good but they made me wait more than half an hour to get into my room and I was the only one in line. the premises smell too much of cigarette, I only stayed one night but had to buy air freshener. Everything was clean and breakfast was buffet style, breakfast was fine for me. but they should fix the cigarette smell in the building since for people who don't smoke it can become quite uncomfortable.

This is an old hotel, parking is along the public road but the spacious, clean room and comfortable beds make up for it. We booked this hotel for our ferry to Dover the next morning, location is very convenient with so many good outlets just a couple of minutes away and near the ferry dock. Will stay again.

There was no hot water in the shower. After reporting it to the front desk, I checked other rooms and there was no hot water either. The front desk was relatively helpless and he didn't know how to solve it himself. I'm more curious how other guests coped. In short, I didn't take a shower at night or in the morning. Fortunately, I stayed for one night and left.

Unfortunately they are not air-conditioned rooms it really was very hot happy the welcome has offered us gently a fan without great results

Very basic stay. A short walk from the train station. They allow pets which might be a positive for some. I heard dog’s barking in the night which I did not appreciate. Breakfast was basic but adequate and staff was helpful.

A charming provincial hotel - unchanged for many years. Staff were lovely. Room was clean. Breakfast was Good - maybe they could add an omelette to the menu?
