We were heartily welcomed by the owners of the hotel after our cold descent by bike and it immediately made us feel warmer. We could store our bikes in the garage and after a hot shower in the recently refurbished room, we had a lovely dinner with a good bottle of wine. This was during Christmas and no staff was around, other then the owners, so it all came down to them to make us feel at home. They were super friendly and we had a nice conversation about Corse and the area around Calacuccia, while enjoying a local digestif in the lounge. All in all a very wonderful experience and we definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to visit this area.

Fabulous hotel! Beautifully and tenderly updated just this year, and offering a stunning view. Our terrific room had a balcony with comfortable deckchairs, and had an enormous, pretty bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast was sensational. I hope you enjoy your stay there as much as we did

We had an amazing 4 night stay. The owners are very welcoming and we can't fault the hotel. The whole place has been completely renovated to a very high standard (really interesting to look on their Instagram page!), comfy beds, very quiet rooms and extremely well cleaned throughout. The pool is spectacular with the mountain view behind and the continental breakfast was perfect. We definitely recommend staying here and hopefully we will return one day!

Nous avons découvert Le grand Hôtel à l’occasion du 31 décembre que nous voulions passer entre amis à la montagne. Nous avons été superbement accueillis par les propriétaires. L’hôtel a été refait avec beaucoup de goût, les chambres et les salles de bain sont très spacieuses, literie impeccable. Petit déjeuner très copieux, produits locaux de qualité et très grande salle de restaurant. les propriétaires nous ont indiqué des randonnées à faire dans la région. Bref, un séjour inoubliable au cœur de la montagne Corse . Nous reviendrons !

Nous avons passé 4 jours fabuleux dans la région du Niolu. L’hôtel est splendide, alliant la modernité et une décoration soignée au charme d’un hôtel du siècle dernier. Les propriétaires nous ont donné d’excellents recommandations aussi bien pour les randonnées que les restaurants. Nous avons profité de la très belle piscine au retour des randos. Une supérette juste à côté est très pratique. En bref, je recommande chaleureusement cet hôtel.

Suite à un accident sur la route en début d’après-midi, j’ai pris le soin de contact immédiatement l’hôtel pour annoncer notre annulation. J’ai été très mal reçue au téléphone, la réceptionniste m’a clairement dit que c’était entièrement de ma faute et qu’il ne ferait aucun geste commercial. Il n’y a eu aucune compassion et aucun dédommagement. Ma famille ayant réalisé leur carrière dans l’hôtellerie, je sais qu’il suffit d’appuyer sur un bouton pour rembourser les clients. Certes, c’est au bon vouloir de l’hôtel, mais quand on travaille dans le tourisme, il faut savoir comprendre et écouter ses clients. Je trouve ça dommage pour un hôtel qui sort tout juste de terre de ne même pas essayé de comprendre et de fidéliser sa clientèle. La réceptionniste insiste sur un tarif « non-remboursable », mais un accident ne peut pas se prévoir. Service client déplorable, je ne recommande pas. De plus la réceptionniste me ment, car elle me dit qu’elle a refusée des réservations pour ce soir car ils sont complets. Cependant, je vois encore des chambres disponibles sur booking, sa raison pour ne pas me rembourser tombe donc à l’eau …
