Club Simó

Visited 25th June on half board basis, hotel is very clean, all staff are amazing and very helpful, pools could be cleaner, lots of trees around the pools so bits come off the trees into the pools, obviously the hotel has no control over this but I think using the net to get the bits out a bit more often would help, our apartment was a bit dated but very clean, air con was good, beds very comfortable, breakfast was really great, plenty of choice but often the food was cold not even just warm, it was stone cold, I love a few chips with whatever I’m eating but they were not edible due to them being cold all the time, sometimes we changed and had lunch instead of the evening meal, it was very obvious the meats at lunch were the previous evenings meat but disguised in a sauce, the reason I’m giving a 4 star rating is because of the food, however this is a 3 star hotel not a 5 the transfer from Palma airport with Easy jet said 1 hour 30 minutes it actually took 2 hours 10 minutes, this was late at night so a bit of a pain when your tired from travelling all day, of course the transfer had nothing to do with the hotel, the entertainment was quite good in the evening too, I would recommend this hotel but we would not return because of the issues I have stated in this review

We went there in August. Our kids were 1 and 4 years old. Absolutely great place to be with very young kids. The staff everywhere were so friendly. We stay for 14 nights and was feeling we are at home. Highly recommended for a family holiday. When we arrived the check in was smooth and easy. The hotel looks so much better and bigger in real. The rooms are not very modern but very clean. The bed was huge and very very comfortable. There was definitely quietness in the hotel even with so many kiddos around. The food was very good in the restaurant. On the same street but opposite of the hotel is an Italian Restaurant. The food was the best possible Italian food we have ever tried. The animation for kids and adults was just super. They have very nice sandy playground for the kids. The hotel is not far from the beach (gorgeous beach) and the Center of Cala Millor. The prices are very normal. Highly recommended for a family hotel.

We enjoyed our vacation time. The rooms are a bit older but fine and very tidy. The price is very good for what you get. Only the food offer is just okay. The staff and animation team was very friendly. The sports possibilities are amazing. If the food range would be a bit wider this hotel should have 4 stars.

Just returned from this hotel with my family of 4 - our first time in Majorca and loved it. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment and thought it was lovely, modern and spotless. We didn’t use the main pool/ facilities as we were happy with our little, quiet pool which very rarely had more than 1-2 families around it. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a quick walk to aldi and a 5/10 minute walk to the beach. The staff were always cheerful and would make conversation with our young children at breakfast and if we ever visited the bar. I did see alot of mixed reviews of this hotel and was slightly worried, but it’s what you make of it and considering the price and that it’s 3* it was a lovely, clean apartment and we would stay again! Also wanted to mention we were bed and breakfast and the breakfast buffet had a great variety! Only negative we could think of was there wasn’t a lift in our building so meant we had to carry the pram up stairs, but we didn’t mind. A brilliant base for your holiday and would really recommend :)

We just back from our holidays at Club simo. I have to say we had a lovely time there. The staff was super friendly. Food was very good and had a big selection you can find something for everyone. We took half board so i cannot say anything about the lunch an the snack, but breakfast and the dinners were very tasty. Restaurant staff were cleaning the tables all the time, which was bit strange for me at the beginning as I am not used to someone will keep my table clean all the time. when we fined eating something the waiter was taking the empty plate straight away. Have to say reception staff were very friendly and helpful as well. We want to see cuevas del drach (family of 4) so we check many options. We have asked if we can book the trip at the reception (€51 each so €204 in total).The lovely lady at the reception, do not remember her name gave us the map and advice to use public bus which was just 5 minutes away from the hotel and the last stop was just by the cuevas, so you can not missed it and buy just the tickets at the place (advice to buy them online in advance to make sure you on the trip same day and the time you would like) in total for all we paid €62 for the entrance and the return tickets. Cleaning staff - please note there is 5 days in the week cleaning service, which is perfect who need the cleaning of the room on the day of arrival. Even with that our room was clean daily and even on the departure day as we had late check-out (we paid €25 to stay till 4p.m that day)as our flight was late at night. i am glad we could do that so we can put our smallone for a nap as usual. the only minus was the room. I mean the location was good as it was in the main building, but it wasn't renovated and you could get the smell of mould from the build in wardrobe in the bedroom (like in the old damp houses). other then that I will highly recommend the hotel. Close to beach just 5 minutes walking. Aldi is just 3 minutes away. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Close to all the restaurants and bars but not so close so you would have peace and quiet at night, what was what we were looking for.

We had a great stay at the hotel... We love the clean relaxing venue. We didn't have the food included so can't comment on that.. but I can certainly comment on the crew in the kids club.. They were fab.. my son had a blast playing games morning and afternoon.. was fabulous.. a big thank you to Tomasz and the gang who are the real stars of the hotel.
