Marins Playa

Clean, superb room, spacious and had many facilities (cooker, fridge, hair dryer, 2 tvs). Luxurious hotel with 2 swimming pools, jacuzzis, rooftop bar with great view, spa as well. Entertainment on a good level, there was evening event organised for kids.

Very nice resort for family vacation..beach is short distance..food is nice..pools are made for children…maybe rooms are not good sound isolated..we heard a lot of noise from other rooms…parking was under renovation when we were there (it is quite small) so you have to find place on street

Our last visit was in 2018. The hotel has had a change to it but it's all good. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and had a good view of the pool and sea. The pool was very cold, we couldn't stay in it too long,so we tried the indoor pool. It seemed better, but it was cold, too. The entertainment was brilliant on a night, got all families up on their feet dancing. I think we will try a warmer month next time!

With three children we wanted to make sure safety was in place in the hotel. The first thing we noticed was that there was only one lifeguard in-charge of two huge pools and the same lifeguard in charge of the indoor pool. We found this very odd as there was hundreds of families on holiday with a lot of children running around and only one lifeguards. There was no security guard throughout the whole premises this included the actual hotel area and the surrounding apartments which are slightly higher this made us feel very unsafe. On the saturday, my children were playing in the pool area where my 12 year old slipped backwards and banged his head, when my husband checked he had a laceration on his head and blood was everywhere, my son was visibly hysterical, crying in pain. There was no lifeguard at all and no one from The hotel staff alerted one another either. This means ccttv was useless too. My husband had to leave my injured son all alone to quickly alert the reception staff to do something. They told us there is no first aid or nurse available we were suprised and shocked that they were not interested in atleast helping with the bleeding. My husband just held his head with a towel and there was no first aid kit provided by the staff to clean the wound. The lifeguard appeared after ten minutes with the hotel manager and told us he will need stitches take him to the hospital. Once my husband left to get the car i was sat at the reception trying to calm my son down, he was in shock and screaming as hed just felt the cut on his head. His eyes were blurred from the blow to his head and he was in pain. The two receptions were fully ignoring him the whole way through acting as-though nothing was happening. It was so upsetting to see that there is no morals in this hotel. Not even one person came to say is there anything we can do to help or calm him down. I had to go myself to ask them for a glass of water. There was no local hospital and we had to travel 40 minutes away to get two staples in his head. The ordeal was horrific and the next evening we went back to see why he had slipped the floor was extremely greasy and God knows when was the last time it was cleaned. The blood from my sons accident was still on the floor and it was disgusting to see other children playing on top of it. I went to complain to the hotel manager who was extremely argumentative when i complained about the greasy floor he said proudly ‘this happens to someone once every month’ i said this is nothing to be proud off and blamed the lack of cleaningness he lied and said the pool area is cleaned every morning at 7am and when i questioned him why is Blood still on floor the next day in the evening he had nothing further to say. If your going with children i will not wish this on anybody the lack of cleaning the lack of lifeguards security and first aid should make marins playa the last DESPERATE option for YOU. please dont make this mistake.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 5 nights. We stayed in Room 2306 which had a pool view & you could also see the sea between the buildings. This hotel is great for families, the staff provide entertainment through out the day for the kids and there is also onsite kids club. We loved the idea of having separate restaurants for adults and families as we stayed b&b as it was peaceful in the adults only restaurant as we didn’t have kids ourselves. The rooftop with the jacuzzis was also adults only. This was very pretty as it had a sea view & there would be a waiter to come around and take your drink orders. All food and drink orders were charged to the room which we paid when we checked out. There was an onsite supermarket which was reasonably priced and convenient for items for the room. Our room was spacious & clean, this has all the kitchen facilities plus air conditioning. There was a decent size fridge and bathroom, the bedrooms in the superior apartments were separate so it was like living in studio flat. This isn’t to everyone’s taste but I liked the separate rooms. It rained for a few hours whilst we were there so we found some English tv channels which was great to pass by the time. Our transfer didn’t turn up back to Palma airport so reception staff helped us book a taxi and it was there within 5 minutes & also helped call our transfer company first. All staff were friendly and helpful. The only critique I have is that the main meal in the evening could have been better choices however the desserts were really tasty. Overall We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel to families. We would return to Cala Millor as it is a lovely place.

Currently at the Marina playa and having a lovely time. Two families of two adults and two children. We have a one bed apartment which is situated across the road to the main hotel. Literally a two second walk. Entertainment is daily with Mario and his friends the mascots visiting at breakfast and in the eve. Aqua fit, water polo etc for the children and adults. Chill zone with x box and PlayStation. Pirate ship slides for the younger ones. Plastic plates at breakfast and dinner for the little ones. We have bed and breakfast so been eating out but have had lunch at the pool bar which has fresh pizzas, burgers etc. The hotel is clean, catered for children and families and a five min walk to the sea front. Lots of bars and restaurants and not far to Cala bona around a 15/ 20 walk. Apartment is spacious, sofa bed for the children and large bathroom and balcony. We have had lunch outside a couples of times on our balcony. We are having a great time. We booked through travel republic and there isn't many British here but we don't mind that! Staff all helpful and speak English. Don't know how people can be negative. Breakfast has lots of choice. Can't comment on dinner as we have only had lunch but so far a great experience. Towels and linen changed every couple of days. Air con in the rooms. The only thing that could be better is more drawers for clothes in the bedroom/ living area as we only have one sliding wardrobe in the bedroom but again not a major issue!
