Nice hotel, nothing special. Good breakfast, but very busy. Many English guests.

Just home from a week staying in this hotel, check in was quick and the reception staff were lovely and welcoming, our room was A06 so we didn’t have a lot of stairs to climb, the room was perfect for just the 2 of us, the bed was very comfortable, it was clean, we don’t really spend a lot of time in the room really, the pool area is very clean, there was never an issue with getting a sun lounger, the pool bar was well stocked and open from 10am as was the snack bar. The food was nice, there was not loads to choose from, but what was there was well cooked and tasty, lots of lovely salad and fruit. The entertainment people worked hard and done a good job and we found all the staff friendly and pleasant, for it being a 2 star hotel they do a great job. The hill is quite steep to get to the hotel. This hotel was just what we needed for a lovely relaxing week

The hotel is so terrible it needs serious improvement. The management should be sacked. The staff are rude, passive-aggressive and seem to not know anything. My whole group, and numerous other people we asked, felt uncomfortable even going to the bar (or reception) due to how unnecessarily rude and miserable everyone is. The nicest staff member was the young lady at the stack bar. Cleaning staff were also very nice and helpful. Drinks are disgustingly watered down, many drinks aren’t included and every drink is served in a half pint glass so you have to constantly be at the bar. As a group of not big drinkers, even we had to pay to get on a good, holiday-level. The hotel completely ruined our holiday. We’ve spent all year working, straight back to work when we get back, and we feel we’ve wasted our time off and money. The area and bars around it are very good however, so spent most of our all inclusive holiday out. I’ve never stayed in a hotel so poorly run. Two work men, who we assume were staying on site, harassed us every morning, while the bartenders laughed along. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it for young women, as you’ll spend your whole holiday feeling uncomfortable. The room was infested with ants, which we didn’t complain at the time because we knew we’d get a blunt and likely ignorant reply. Another lady was complaining about similar things when we went to check out and the older receptionists attitude was disgusting. Our air on also leaked all over the balcony every time it was on cold. Our room was supposed to fit 4 people, which is unbelievable. It included one uneven sofa bed and no room anywhere to store anything. The bathroom sink was overflowing with 3 people’s toiletries, it would be impossible to fit another person in there. There is a cash machine on site, most likely so you can withdraw cash to use at the water vending machines. It still comes out warm however, as does the free water at the bar, which none of us, or anyone else we asked, could drink as it tastes stale and is, again, warm. We won’t be staying again and nobody else we asked would be either. The hotel is an absolute joke, anyone that is satisfied with it has appallingly low standards. If you want to spend your holiday depressed, it’s definitely the place for you. Will be contacting customer services as even though the holiday was cheaper, it was definitely not worth £460+ each. Genuinely wouldn’t even pay anything more than £200. The place needs investigating, a new manager, and the staff need serious training.

As long as you know it’s only two star and not expecting 4 stars service then you be ok . Stayed here for a long weekend. Check in was fine with no issues. Had issue with hot water but got sorted after 15 minutes off reporting it, shame the same can’t be said about asking three times for some duvets as cold at night and heater did not work on air con system. The air fans are old and loud but did work with cold air. The apar**ents are dated and does need a refurb but it was clean and ok for a short break. The food was basic and simple but actually ok. Drinks on all inclusive but again was fine for what we paid. Swimming pool was good size and decent. There are lots and lots of steps on complex, we stayed in block C which was near reception, the pool and main building. We enjoyed the large balcony we had and made the most of it. I would return to complex of if I got another cheap deal. Bar staff friendly and no issues . The little snack bar is good as they make food to order and there is also a small area of ready made snacks. If you come with an open mind that it’s basic and no big problems then you be fine

There was steps every where u need to be fit we had 76 steps to climb. It is not fun in heat , the swimming pool, was lovely the entertainment area was inside which was a bit silly when everyone wanted to sit outside in heat so I think they need to change this idea which I think most people would agree on the beach was only about 5 to 10 minute walk and was lovely sunbeds are £15 for 2 beds umbrella, you are given a token when you arrive for your cup, which gets your drink from the bar if you’re all inclusive don’t forget your cup because they will charge you a euro if you do

We stayed at Globales Montemar with Jet2 between 22nd of July and 6th of August during UK school holidays. We paid £1300pp including flights, transfers, and all inclusive accommodation. The price here was better than we could find anywhere else on the island including seif catering accommodation. The food was good quality and we found options to suit each member of our party (1 vegetarian, 1 healthy eating salad lover, 1 outright carnivore and 1 person with a lot of allergies). The rooms were clean and spacious with comfy beds and air conditioning, although they would have benefited from a little more clothes storage. The bathroom was modern and well lit. The sink had a plug which allowed us to wash our clothes and a drying rail was provided on our balcony. There were ample sunbeds, all in good condition and comfortable, and these were set around 2 pool areas and the smaller pool was quite quiet and peaceful. There were playing courts for tennis, basketball and football too. One thing that struck me was how throughly the staff cleaned all areas on a daily basis. Each night the pools were cleaned for 10 hours using a cleaning robot that was left in the pool overnight. In the morning staff scrbbed and hosed all the walkways and sun awnings. The staff cleaning the rooms worked especially hard as the accommodation is built on the hillside and clean sheets and towels were carried to each room on a daily basis. During our visit the air conditioning in the main building was awaiting parts for repair. This meant that the animation team had to brave the humidity in the evenings to give great entertainment to the guests. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. If go a far as to say that the were the most friendly team that I have known and they helped to make the holiday very memorable and enjoyable. The entertainment team worked so hard all day long to make our holiday special and Minerva was so friendly and helpful. She made time to talk to us and help us, even on her day off and her aquagym classes were so much fun! I also really enjoyed karaoke and the movie quizzes as well as the entertainment acts paid for by the hotel. Finally I'd like to also give a special shot out to Haneke, the reception team and the kitchen and bar staff who supported my requests to freeze ice packs each night. I have medication that needs to be kept chilled and it needs to be with me at all times. Without their help I could not have taken my medication with me and would not have been able to leave the hotel complex. This is a 2 star hotel but it gives 5 star service on every level. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family and I'm sure I will be returning. ❤️

Travelled for an4 nigjt break with my 2 wlder daughters, Lovely hotel, lovely rooms. The steps are a killer if your unfit or intoxicated (lol) sandrinis's bar is great, and likely to be one of the only places open but good vibe and ok prices. Food wasn't the greatest- usual all inclusive (we ate out alot) but we would go again.

It is advertised as a 2 star and I knew it was up a steep hill when booking so this review does take that into account. Reception welcome was great and check in and out were quick and easy. I was traveling as a single parent with my son and our room was great. From speaking to other guests however, it did sound a bit like there was a room lottery going on as many others complained of dirty, old décor, water leaks and broken air con so it sounds like we were very lucky. The room wasn't cleaned each day however which was disappointing: I'd even have been happy if just the bins were emptied. The pool is nice: a larger shallow area would have been better for wee ones however. The kid's pool was as shallow as a puddle so wasn't an option for my 7 year old. The hotel was at full capacity when I was there and most days I couldn't get a sun bed, even away from the pool, so had to sit in the bar area to keep an eye on my son which wasn't very relaxing. They had a bitter sweet policy of having to return your cup each time you wanted a drink: great that there weren't masses of plastic cups lying around but SUPER annoying when you forget your cup and you have to trek back up the hill to get it (especially annoying as a single parent who couldn't leave their kid to nip back up). The bar service was also incredibly slow so wasn't an option for me to get a drink during the day when my kid was in the pool as couldn't leave him that long and didn't want to ask him to get out whilst I queued. Most of the bar staff were incredibly rude too to both each other and the guests: not a nice a**osphere at all to be around. The food was fine for what it was: the staff in the restaurant were great and work tirelessly to keep the place clean and stocked. I don't regret staying here as I think I lucked out on the room but I'd have no reason to go back nor to recommend. If you got a good deal and aren't too fussy however, I think it would be a suitable hotel for you.

On arrival we were greeted by the pleasant staff on reception. As a family of 6 we had booked 2 rooms and were expecting to be split up. We were delighted to be told we could have a family room. The room was in ‘M’ block which is at the very top of the property up a tonne of steps. A fair trade for a quiet family room. The room was clean and spacious with a good sized balcony. We also had a lovely view. As this was my first time staying all inclusive I was worried about the food. I needn’t had bothered worrying. Every day there was a wide selection to choose from. My 3 boys definitely got their moneys worth. The hotel had a family friendly a**osphere with plenty for the kids to do. Maribel and Minerva the girls from the animaçion team did a brilliant job organising darts, ping pong, archery and shooting. On an evening the entertainment consisted of bingo, quizzes and local acts. The bar on an evening was lively but not noisy and the drinks were good. The hotel is located on one of Cala Llonga’s hills. The hill is steep and I’m glad we no longer have to deal with pushchairs. A steady walk to the bars and restaurants takes about 15mins and another 5 to the beach. We had a brilliant time and I can’t wait to return. Yes the hotel is on a hill. Yes there are insects. Yes the hotel needs a little tlc. It could be worse. You could be walking up a hill,to work,at home, in the rain.
