My wife and I along with our 15 year old son just arrived back last night after what was another great holiday at this hotel. This was the 3rd year in a row that we had visited so obviously we love this place. Being our 3rd visit and therefore the 3rd review I have posted, this review will be much the same as my previous two due to the fact that we all find this hotel to be consistently good!. I will try and summarise some key points. Hotel has a great location as is situated out on the head land.. beautiful cove which you walk down to from the hotel grounds. We enjoyed going down there daily and swimming in the sea. The cove almost felt like an extension of the hotel grounds .. you could be sat by the pool one minute and then swimming in the sea the next. The outside area at the hotel is spacious, pool is a salt water pool and the water is changed frequently by simply draining then pumping back in from the sea. The pool water has always been extremely clean and inviting. Sun beds are everywhere and I would say that there are more sun beds than people even when the hotel is at full capacity.. for the last 3 years in a row we never failed to find a sun bed. If you want one right next to the pool then get out for 9am. This didn’t bother us as we actually liked being sat back from the pool and also like relaxing round the side of the hotel where there is lots a green space. The food is great.. it surprises me when I see the odd review moaning about the food as I just think how much choice do you actually want. In summary there are always loads of hot and cold choices and everything seems fresh and cooked very well. We love the food and think it’s perfect! I have stayed at 5 star hotels that offer less choice. The hotel has a big entertainment indoor area which includes the evening bar.. we liked to sit outside each evening and enjoy having a drink surrounded by fantastic views. The all inclusive drinks are good. The local beer is Mohou which I think is a perfect holiday beer. If the hotel served a stronger more premium beer then let’s face it people would be drunk by midday, so if that’s something you want I would say stay somewhere else because this is a family hotel not an 18-30’s club hotel. Plenty of drink choice both alcohol and soft drinks. You help yourself during the day but the bar staff are always to hand ready to serve you if you want something that is not available at the “help yourself” section of the pool bar. There is also hot food and snacks available at the pool bar throughout the day and a good alternative to having lunch in the main restaurant. The rooms are very clean and the bed sheets are changed whenever you want, there is a card you leave on the beds indicating whether you want the sheets changed or not. Staff are friendly and very hard working. I haven’t mentioned any bad points about this hotel as to be honest there isn’t much to moan about without just trying to find something negative for the sake of it . A great hotel

I came here late June with my 2 teenagers, I shared with my daughter (15) and my son (19) was in his own room next door. Transfer time is quite long depending on how many stops along the way (hats off to the coach drivers who navigate some tiny streets with ease!) Check in went smoothly but was surprised to see the lobby decor hasn’t changed in the 30 years since I last visited , this and the lifts need updating. The rooms are lovely and bright, bed was only slightly hard for my liking and the pillows are tiny. Bathroom is lovely, shower is nice and powerful and I love the scent of the shower gel but the hairdryer is not good at all (it gets very hot so bring your own if you need one) The air conditioning is so welcome in the extreme heat that Menorca is experiencing at the moment but remember it only works if the balcony doors are closed (don’t close them if you’re on the balcony as you’ll get locked out! This happened to me but my son came to the rescue) Food and drink is plentiful but food quality is a bit hit and miss, sometimes I had bread and cheese for dinner. Breakfast was always good and the snack bar was too so we tended to have our main meals then with picky bits at dinner. The drinks are self service and always cold, fizzy drinks, lager and wines were all good quality. Plenty of cakes, biscuits and desserts to choose from too. The evening entertainment wasn’t always to our taste but I suppose that means there’s something for everyone but there were only 2 acts that I wanted to see out of 7 nights and they didn’t start until 10, I don’t really enjoy sitting through the kids disco or bingo, it’s a shame they couldn’t be earlier. There’s a big area at the back of the hotel that is crying out for tables and chairs, it even has a stage area, would be lovely to sit out there in the evening and listen to music but it’s completely unused. The sunbeds don’t open until 9 and the pool not until 10! Never been to a hotel that had opening hours for these areas. They need to hire more lifeguards so early birds can go for a swim. All the staff are very friendly, polite and efficient. The ‘beach’ is accessed by about 40 steps which I did struggle with and it really isn’t a beach, certainly not somewhere you’d want to sunbathe or build sandcastles. But the cove itself is beyond beautiful and well worth the descent and climb. Snorkelling gear is an absolute must have and this is where to use your inflatables (they’re not allowed in the pool, nor are balls) lots of fish to see and it feels like a safe place to swim even if you’re not really a swimmer like me. My favourite thing was to just float about with my inflatable, heavenly. The town is a short walk away with plenty of restaurants if you want a change. Every kind of cuisine can be found. There also a great bar ‘Maktub’ which is by the dolphin roundabout which is famous for its frozen pints and cocktails. I would definitely come back again, it’s a beautiful location but I think we’ll go somewhere a

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely hotel. Very clean. Great views over the coves. Staff work really hard. However, there is not a great selection for vegetarians and it would be better if had separate area for vegetarian food as not labelled well and is mixed alongside the meat options served. Snack bar food really nice. Most hotels these days do not charge to use the safe box in room so was bit disappointed with that. We really enjoyed the Michael Jackson tribute night. Definitely recommend the nearby sunset bar to watch the stunning sunset with a cocktail.

Had a lovely solo trip to Menorca. The hotel was brilliant, always a sun lounger . Pool cleaned reguarly . Buffet was good. Staff friendly. Room cleaned and clean at arrival.Aircon with the fan good but one cant turn it off without taking keycard out meaining no electricity to charge one’s phone which was a bit annoying too. WIFi in the room was not great kept dropping off which was annoying.Perhaps soundproofing the rooms be good as people slammed their doors and one night I was kept awake til 4 am due to neighbors tv. Same with people scraping the floor with balcony furniture continuously. Area around hotel is great for walking around to shops restaurants etc and there’s swimming in the cove too just lovely although not for people with waking issues. Besides these things I loved my stay and would go back!

First impressions of the hotel clean communal areas, got checked in pretty quickly. Payable tourist tax 46 euros. 20 euros deposit for towels which is refunded at the end of your stay. Iff you are in need of a safe that is an extra €10.50 per day, which we thought was far too expensive AI drinks arnt up to much flat beer In plastic cups the wine is serve yourself on a tap and it's awfull. Local spirits. Fizzy drinks have no fiz in them. Entertainment at night wasn't worth watching. Food wasn't bad there was something for everyone. Nice view from our room and around the pool. Quite a few steps around the tiered sunbathing area is definitely not suitable for children as there is only wooden posts knocked together and a child could easily fall through the gaps. Would we stay again maybe not

We had a lovely stay. Excellent service, good range of food and very comfortable beds. Lots of steps everywhere so if mobility is an issue you may struggle, especially if you want to access the beautiful cove. Only criticism would be lack of pool activities and evening adult entertainment a bit disappointing. There was always a lounger by the pool. We went at the end of August so temperature didn’t go much below 30 degrees. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to friends and family. If you want to access a Sandy beach be prepared to take the bus or taxi to reach the nearest one,
