Stayed here June 2022. It was a fantastic stay. The pool was very large and it was so quite all week, we pretty much had it to ourselves. The area was a bit of a let down as it's all run down since my last visits to this part of menorca. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the waiter/barman (Chris) was excellent. Very funny and liked to talk to us. Definitely would stay again. 10/10 for this apar**ent complex.

This was the first time staying at Vista Picas and it was so enjoyable. The apar**ent was a good size, clean and comfortable. The lack of air con wasn’t an issue in May but I can see how it would be later in the year. The staff are excellent, Chris in the restaurant deserves a special mention. We stayed as a group of 12 on half board and he was happy to arrange for some of us to swap our dinner for lunch if we wanted to dine out. The pool is lovely and clean with plenty of sun beds, a small cove is close by if you want to swim in the sea. There are some lovely coastal walks and the bus to Ciutadella runs hourly. Although it can get busy. If there are a few of you a taxi is €8. The food was lovely, a good selection for breakfast and a nice choice for dinner. The wine was reasonably priced too. There is some noise at night up to around 11pm when Bar 61 or Jimmy’s finish the entertainment/karaoke. 2 good supermarkets just across the road and a small selection of bars and restaurants nearby.

Lovely hotel, basic rooms but you pay what you get. Unsure what cleaners actually do other than provide clean towels and we only had our bin cleaned once, we had to take the bin bags to bins outside the reception. Receptionists very friendly my daughter lost her Teddy on first day and they kept it in Reception for us to collect when we realised someone has kindly handed it in. Pool large and clean although the poolside was not cleaned during the 2 weeks I stayed other than the sunbeds neatly tidied every day. I know it wasn't cleaned because my son spilled chocolate milk on our second day and I spilled beer and sangria on other days and although I rised it with water the sticky residue remained for the whole 2 weeks. Bar staff was friendly and food was nice. Slight downside was beer served in cardboard cups for pool I understand no glasses but I prefer plastic glasses rather than cupboard, but that's my taste. Also they had a bouncy castle which was rarely inflated only on the odd occasion when there was a large Spanish Party dining. Depending which side you stay you can either hear jimmy hills usually until around 11.30pm or bar 61 to early hours. Location was good as there are a few shops and restaurants nearby and two supermarkets opposite hotel. Jimmy Hills has entertainment every night. The shopping bar does good burgers and has a bouncy castle and trampolines for the kids. The Indian restaurant nearby is fad. I also liked the Tropical kiss Bar as it was so family friendly including free kids face painting. The water park is very small only good for young children my son is 9 and wished there was more slides. Whilst I would stay at the hotel again I would not visit the resort again as it was not very lively for me and felt as though it was ground hog day as a lot of restaurants seemed to sell similar foods and only a handful of bars.

Great place to stay, the ground floor apar**ent we were allocated was right by the pool. The room was clean and adequate for two. The bedroom had two large wardrobes, one houses the safe and a large fan which we was extremely gratful for as the weather was amazing, 27 degrees most days. The bed was very comfortable, extra pillows and more bedding was stored in the wardrobe.There was two bedside tables and a dressing table The bed was very comfortable, the beds were changed every other day.. great service. The bathroom had a large walk in shower, pretty powerful. The bathroom was modern and spacious and the towels were changed most days, again great service. There was a small kitchenette, ample for those wanting to rustle up a snack, however we only used the fridge and kettle as we had breakfast in the restaurant. The restaurant does a lovely breakfast, not buffet style but chosen from a menu and cooked fresh, Chris who was our host in the restaurant is the most friendly man I have ever met, nothing was too much effort and he was always cheerful, a real asset to the establishment. The reception staff were lovely and always at hand for any queries. The pool area is very spacious with sufficient sun loungers, which were very comfortable and there was shade for those wanting to get out of the sun. The restaurant does serve evening meals which I believe is very good, or for a ten minute strole into the village there is several very good restaurants. The bus stop is right outside the reception and two supermarkets opposite for essentials. We will definitely stay there again.

We booked this hotel as a last minute get-away with the daughter and two grandchildren. When we arrived the receptionist was really pleasant and helpful, our room was ready and yes it was basic but not as basic as a lot of self catering accomodations we have stayed in. Kitchen, bedroom everything we needed was there, even a fan for the hot summer days. The pool was really nice our 5 year old granddaughter loved it and it wasn't too deep, they also have a children's pool next to the main pool which my granddaughter loved. We went in October and yes restaurants and shops had begun to close for winter but everywhere is so geared up for children, with either indoor play area, bouncy castles or trampolines. We ate almost exclusively at Jimmy's and each night they had entertainment for the kids then a tribute act. Our granddaughter loved meeting Cinderella and having her face painted lol. The water park was ok but at 90 euros for 3 adults a 5 year old and a baby we thought it was a bit expensive as there is only 4 adult slides and 6 child slides. We enjoyed it though my granddaughter making a friend and spending all her time with her friend meant granddad got a bit of peace lol. We would recommend the Indian restaurant, and of course Jimmy's but this hotel is clean, close by everything, with fantastic staff who are always happy to help. Would we stay here again... Yes definitely.

Fantastic place to take children, great staff, very clean spacious apar**ent. No evening entertainment but there is some close by that anyone can attend. Food is acceptable. Plenty of places to eat out and supermarkets close by for self catering

This was my first visit to these apar**ents, and definitely not my last. Arrival began with a 45 transfer from Mahon airport which was uneventful. Arrived at the apar**ents to find room wasn’t ready (expected as we were early). Lovely friendly British receptionist suggested we go to the bar (excellent idea) and she would bring our key when ready, 45 mins later said key duly arrived. As previous reviews have said the apar**ents are basic, but work well. Small kitchen (3 ring hob, toaster, microwave, fridge) . You get all the pots/pans and cutlery you need. Living room has table and chairs, sofa bed, unit with small tv (never used) . Leads on to balcony with plastic table and four chairs. We had a double bed , 2 huge wardrobes and drawers. There is also a door that leads onto the balcony. The pool is very nice indeed, clean and very large. All the beds round the pool are clearly brand new, and the surrounding area is spotless. (In separate no issues getting beds, just pick where you want) . The bar area is nice and handy , serving meals, drinks , coffees etc. Also, the staff the run that area are lovely and friendly and very helpful ( as are all the staff) Short walk to town , which is quite small but has some lovely restaurants and bars. I would point out that 1 week is possibly enough, as any more and you would run out of bars to visit. There is a bar and restaurant complex called Jimmy Hills on the way to town, which we didn’t use (not our cup of tea) but seems to have entertainment on every night (tribute bands, karaoke etc). Finally , there are 2 small supermarkets over the road from the apar**ents. I would advise using the smaller one as it appears cheaper. All in all a very nice place to visit . Highly recommended

Second time staying here so we knew what to expect, and not disappointed. Yes, rooms basic, but perfectly adequate, only grumble, fridge with no freezer section so no ice for my g&t. On arrival lovely receptionist, one fan, room cleaned, fresh towels x2, great pool lots of sunloungers. If you stop in room 120 please feed the family of cats, lol. 100% recommend Vista Picas.

Great self catering hotel , would defo stay again. Lovely and quiet and relaxing. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Downside is there’s no air con. One fan is provided then have to buy extra fans. Wifi didn’t work in our room but worked around the pool and in the restaurant. Pool doesn’t have life guards. Location is great. Two supermarkets right outside, an entertainment square next door called jimmys, they provide food and entertainment shuts at 2am. Not too loud either can not hear it from our room. There’s also a soft play in there for the kids it’s excellent. Other shops and restaurants close by. We rented a car ( do not rent from hotel it was double the price) we rented from down the road and drove to different beaches across the island. Hotel is very clean too. Our rooms got cleaned twice in one week which was enough for us, I’m sure they’d provide towels more often if requested. Hotel is abit busier on the weekend as locals book in and use the pool and restaurant: however during the week it’s such a relaxed environment. Water park that’s attached to a hotel close by, if you go after 3pm it’s half price. Open 10am-6pm. If I was to go back to Menorca again I would book this hotel.
