Iberostar Club Cala Barca All Inclusive

First and foremost, the hotel grounds, reception and restaurants cleanliness is maintained at a high standard. The room, all-inclusive standard family room, was basic but clean upon arrival and cleaned throughout the duration of are stay. However, though it was a family room, the hotel failed to provide a babies highchair. My 1 and half year old slept fine in the travel cot provided. The ground floor patio had a view of the sea but no railing present to provide a barrier to the grass plot. A good selection of breakfast items ranging from pasties, fresh fruit, hot items and freshly cooked omelettes. Lunch was equally as good We visited the Es Moli restaurant once, which was fine, providing Mallorcan food. Baleares restaurant is larger in size and offers a variety of international food as well as a different theme every night. We happily ate here most evenings. Mexican restaurant was nice providing a range of mexican themed food. All food was good and made to a decent quality with no real complaints. Soft drinks, beer (Mahou) on tap was sound. Aparol was part of the all-inclusive but local brand vodka, whisky and rum was available. 2 out of the 3 food trucks where open toasties and chicken and chips, ok for a snack. The beach restaurant was ok, providing grilled sea food and meats with all you can eat salad and dessert bar. Multiple pools and sun beds was available but we stayed in the may half term, this might be different in the high season. Night time entertainment was ok, quizzing plus a themed show (which we never stayed for). It seemed like there was lots for entertaining children 4 and over, kids clubs etc. small park for children was fine but the play room for under 4s needs some major improvement/investment. There was morning exercise sessions for the adults plus padal courts available (book courts in a day in advance). 1 hour away from Palma airport, 3 bus stops from Cala Dor. Overall this was a pleasant stay and I would probably recommend it.

This is a first class holiday. Iberostar is a Mallorca based company and the chain has a winning formula. The food, venue, sports, kids club, pools and hospitality are superb. Team DARN™️ are very very impressed. Thank you. (P.s. We stayed on the ground floor in Block 56 - Central Area and having that as our HQ served us so well. It’s quiet but also very very central).

Excellent setting. Nice rooms. Excellent food. - especially the Mexican for dinner. Loads of pools. The jumping pillow slide is really fun. Every night there is a show - including Frozen! Would have been 5* but my son cut his foot on a cracked paving stone... :-(

The hotel catered for a large French party and disregarded the rest of their guests who had paid £950 euros to stay at their hotel for the week. Awful, Disco reopened as soon as the French Party that was closed to other guests arrived. They had a beach party that was closed for all guests apart from French guests. It you are not French unfortunately you are not welcome at the hotel

This hotel was great. I feel they had something for everyone. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, the staff were really friendly and there was always something on. I would definately come back here. The only thing I feel I could fault was the air con, luckily we were here in the cooler part of summer but with a toddler with us I think if it was any hotter we all wouldn’t have got much sleep.

This hotel has potential to be amazing. The multiple dining areas are lovely and clean with a great selection of food. We had some lovely cocktails from the bars too, great selection of drinks. Stunning beach area, however beach restaurant and bar was closed during our visit. Rooms, gardens and pool area are due a good refurb and freshen up, there were lots of cracked tiles around the pool area, and missing drain covers which could cause injury. Please be aware that rooms are in apartment blocks and it is a bit of a walk to the main hotel area. Overall happy with our few days in the sun, but would probably not return unless the hotel had a refurb.
