The accommodation impresses with friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, convenient location near beach and amenities, and well-equipped facilities. However, some may find the small kitchenettes limiting.

Before we left the UK we requested a room near the reception and dining room as I have walking difficulties and ended up in block H. Farthest from both. Disappointed. The room was large with a kitchenette and lounge but unfortunately both were overrun with ants and the balcony too. The bed linen was supposed to be changed once a week and it never happened. The cleaners don't do the rooms on Thursdays and Sundays either. The food was passable and you won't starve but we took a taxi into Cala Millor to the Sa Caleta restaurant that was recommended by a family member. Well worth a visit. Superb dinner overlooking the sea and only €5 for the taxi. Great food and reasonable prices. The taxi rank is 2 minutes from the restaurant. The staff were friendly and the porter collected us and our luggage for our return journey in a little wagon. I think next time we will stay in Cala Millor and get a hotel overlooking the sea front.

We stayed for 7 nights at the end of Aug/beginning of Sep. Arrived at around 9pm, check in was quick and we were taken to our room on a buggy. We were in Block H in a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious and clean. Bedroom had 2 small doubles pushed together, a large wardrobe with safe inside (which was extra) The two sofas were made into beds and if you take the actual sofa cushions off they’re the size of a single bed, they did feel quite hard but everyone slept well on them. There was a table and chairs in the living area, and a small kitchenette. Quite basic and not much storage for food if you were wanting to bring/buy bits to cook. There was fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc Bathroom had a shower over the m bath with good water pressure, the hot water did take a while to come through but was always available. Handy sockets in bathroom if you need to be in front of a mirror. Balcony had table and chairs and was nice and spacious. Cleaners came round most days, towels were changed if you left them in the bath. Think the bedding was changed once in the week. Bedroom and living room were nice and dark with the curtains closed. Aircon seemed to cool the apartment down well. The walls are quite thin and you can hear your neighbours if they’re being loud. We could hear people coming back at night and getting up early for breakfast, I guess it depends on who you get next door. The other noise issue was the roosters. This would depend which block you are in and also which direction your bedroom faced. I’m a very light sleeper and sometimes heard them very early, sometimes later when we were up or not at all-they are free to roam about so not always in the same spot. Saying that, I woustill stay in the same apartment again. Can’t comment on the food as we were self catering, although people we spoke to said it was good. We did buy soft drinks by the pool one day, for a small paper cup of coke out of a machine was around €3 so we didn’t bother again There was a good choice of pools. A kids splash pool with a pirate ship with a few slides and shallow water. A main pool where they did activities. Another pool with a shallower part for kids. And another that seemed quieter,near the road which also had a tiny kids pool next to it. Our kids enjoyed going in all of them. We always managed to get a sunbed, no matter what time of day it was (we were not early risers) but, speaking to people, they said the week previous you had to be up early to get one as the whole place was busier and it was hard to get one. I did find that the pools were on the small side for the amount of people. It didn’t help that everyone had massive inflatables and unfortunately some people weren’t bothered if they bumped into you-it wasn’t just kids either! The hotel didn’t supply pool/beach towels so take your own! Location was good, 10-15 minute walk into Cala Bona. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants. Felt a very safe area. Just watch out for th
