My husband and I have just returned from a 5 night stay here and had a fabulous time. Some of the reviews here had us worried but our experience was very positive so please give the hotel a chance. Staff - everyone we encountered was very friendly and extremely hard-working. Reception, restaurant, bar and cleaning staff all made us feel very welcome. Room - we stayed in room 316 which was a frontal sea view room. Very spacious, massive comfy bed and amazing rainwater shower. The safe costs €4 per day and is easy to use. The fridge in room is more a cool-ish storage style but was fine for us. Air con was lovely and lots of wardrobe/drawer space. Only thing I would say is there is a bit of residual noise from the cleaning supply cupboard/office being outside in the hall so if you fancy a lie-in pack some earplugs! Cleanliness - cleaners work very hard. We used the do not disturb sign and they actually put a slip through to explain the room wasn't serviced because of this but you can phone reception before 6pm to have it done if you really need it! They also offer a 'make bed only' service which is useful. Food/drinks - we were All Inclusive and yes, the drinks package includes wine/beer/water/hot drinks/soft drinks however, cocktails and spirits etc are available for a supplement if you wish. Breakfast/lunch/dinner is buffet style and we found it to be varied and tasty. Breakfast offered cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt plus cooked breakfast foods and pastries. Hams/cheeses/breads also available. Lunch and dinner offered salad bar plus a range of hot foods including pizza, pasta, chips, stews, paella, burgers etc on different days/nights. Plus a lovely selection of small cakes. As other reviews have mentioned, yes they do use leftovers (supplemented with a few other dishes) for lunch each day, however, this means less food waste which is a plus point for me. Pool areas - the infinity pool and bali beds face the front of the hotel and are accessed via the chill out bar. We did not use either but there were enough beds available each day if we had chosen to. The pool area at back of hotel is bigger and less crowded. Both well-maintained. Chill-out bar/entertainment - level 1. Lovely seating arrangements and laid-back feel. Entertainment only on a few nights- it is towards end of season so I assume there is more during summer. Both singers we managed to see were talented! Location - perfect location. Very central, lovely stroll along promenade to Cala Bona. Easy access to beach areas, lots of shops and restaurants. Lovely and peaceful balanced with a nice night vibe. Our check-in process was great with information clearly explained and there is a QR code in rooms to scan to take you to the website. Perhaps this information could also be written down/available in rooms too on a small card as an easy reminder of key details? Other info - spa available for additional cost. We did not use so cannot comment on facilities. Hotel is dog-friendly so yo

We had 2 weeks all inclusive at the hotel and had a lovely time. It’s a very central location from where you can easily walk along the promenade to Cala Millor and Cala Bona. The food was very good, and we found plenty of choice and not too repetitive. One thing I would suggest to the staff is that the vegetarian options are clearly labelled, as it was sometimes hard to work out whether some of the dishes contained meat or fish. The staff were all really attentive and friendly. Special mention to Carmen for attempting to teach my husband some Spanish and Gabriel who looked after us at the bar. We found the all inclusive drinks choice fine for us, but there is a small supplement for cocktails which we didn’t have. It would also help to have a free safe but other than that, no complaints. Thank you

Just came back from a week here. The hotel itself was great. Clean. Great location. Comfy bed. House keeping staff great. HOWEVER, our stay was let down by rude front of house staff. Sophia at check in was not welcoming at all. Gave us our room key & then promptly turned her back on us. Got to our room and couldn’t figure out why the lights or air con wasn’t working. After 25 minutes went to make my way down to reception to say nothing was working in our room, luckily housekeeping were in the hall and showed us that we needed to put our room key into the wall to make everything work. Sophia definitely should have mentioned this when checking us in. When we went to the breakfast buffet, the man at the desk didn’t really greet us as you would expect…just asked for our room key, then handed it back to us and walked off…it was our first time there so didn’t really know what we needed to do. Felt a bit stupid trying the find plates and glasses. Wasn’t sure if we found our own table or if we had to sit at one allocated. Had to figure it out for ourselves. When it came to checking out, Adrian quite literally just took our room key off us and said “all done” … no “good morning” or “how was your stay?” … just completely lacking in friendliness or good customer service. Our experience with the staff has put us off coming back here. We have already booked to come back to Cala Millor, but booked a different hotel. It’s a shame because this hotel could be really great but was let down by the staff we came into contact with. Reading other reviews there is a clear pattern of people’s stays being let down by the some of the staff at this hotel…which makes me believe people reviews are not being taking seriously as the same issues are still being reported/repeated.

I think some of the reviews of this hotel, on here are positively spiteful! We have had a wonderful stay here, obviously the perfect weather has helped, but to complain about the lack of colour on the walls or within the hotel generally is just crazy. It gets very hot in Majorca, white is a cool colour and suits this hotel perfectly. Breakfast and dinner were good, breakfast better if I’m honest! Room was very big with a large balcony, efficient air con, which was a godsend. Room was cleaned before lunchtime every day. Linen was changed periodically. I think the drain smell is just how it is over here, especially in the heat although they have used bleach today. Some of the staff are lovely, some are just plain rude… hence the four stars. We always managed to get a comfy sun bed at some point in the day…. there was always space at the bottom pool. All in all a fabulous holiday virtually on the beach!!

Myself and my wife have been coming to the Talayot for around 7 years, we even spent our Honeymoon there last year. The hotel rooms were always clean and the beds were so comfortable. The staff were all friendly and got to know them very well over the 7 years. Our first year we did half board, the food was pretty good and a choice for everyone. The second year onwards we decided to go bed & breakfast as we wanted to sample various restaurants and food in the area, we continued to do this for the rest of the 5 years on a bed & breakfast basis. We were going to book again for this season (2024) but the hotel no longer does bed & breakfast only half or full board which is a little sad as we were looking forward to booking again this year, and more years to come as it became our ‘happy place’, the change is not good, so unfortunately we are looking at alternative hotels along Cala Millor. Thank you Talayot for all the happy memories over the years, but it’s now time to say Adios

Nice looking hotel, nice room and very comfortable bed. Air con was a life saver. Everywhere looked clean and well kept. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Beautiful views from the infinity pool area. Enjoyed my stay but wish I hadn’t paid for all inclusive. Would I stay again? No. We stayed all inclusive which when we paid for states drinks, snacks and ice creams as part of the package. Standard right? Not for this place. You have to eat all meals on the all inclusive package inside the canteen looking restaurant. There is hardly any choice for food. No ice creams, cocktails or snacks are included. If you want to eat a burger in the pool areas, you have to pay! How is that all inclusive? They have a menu at the bar which shows prices for all inclusive guests lol. No way was I paying so we went out and spent our money elsewhere. The whole place felt like a bit of a scam. I’m used to paying for premium drinks and “certain cocktails” but this place is just ridiculous. Nice place for a few days if staying bed and breakfast. Definitely don’t waste your money on all inclusive. Not much choice of food. So many amazing places to eat and close by. Spend your money having a variety of food and different experiences. The infinity pool area is really lovely. Good luck getting a bed, there aren’t many and unfortunately there are selfish people who put their towels on the beds and go out for the day. There should be a rule in place to stop this. The spa was good. It cost us 25 euros for both of us to enjoy for a couple of hours. The jacuzzi in the main pool didn’t work the whole time we were there. It would have been nice to have been able to enjoy some bubbles but it wasn’t the end of the world for us. We enjoyed chilling in the pool, the beach (which is gorgeous), walks exploring the local area, eating out. There were a lot of guests complaining about the lack of choices for food. I know people do complain but honestly, there were hardly any choices at all for dinner and not much for breakfast either. Not your usual all inclusive!

Nice quiet location. Not many sunbeds at the front so are needed to queue early in the morning. However we enjoyed the back pool with a lovely bar and drinks. Plenty of restaurants and bars minutes away from the hotel. The room was lovely and spacious as well as having an extra bonus of a balcony on arrival which we did not originally book! Overall recommend :))

Great weeks holiday in Mallorca. Hotel was situated in a great spot between Cala Millor and Cala Bona. Hotel staff very friendly and always polite and helpful. Food good as you would expect for a 4*. We went on an all inclusive package which was a bit disappointing ie no ice cream/ crisps/ or certain snacks available on inclusive package and also had to pay extra on cocktails. Had a sea view room with an outstanding vista. Hotel was spotlessly clean with very hard working staff. Back pool was shallow and not easy to swim in. Front infinity pool had 24 beds and people queued up for these beds from 08:30 ( opened at 09:00). We did not bother at all. 4 out of 5 for me as we enjoyed the hotel and holiday.

Lovely hotel tight on sea front. Nice helpful staff. Good location for bars, restaurants and a stroll along the promenade to neighbouring resorts Great infinity pool and sun area with nice bar.
