Convenient location for sightseeing in Cairo.
The price to stay was reasonable though the room size was small.
Street the hotel facing to was not busy. Then, not noisy at such central Cairo.
Family managing hotel and staffs were very kind and friendly.
The elevator to the reception on the 6th floor was very old and broken down a couple hours.
I recommend to stay there.
It is an old hotel, I had no problems and it was very good. The breakfast was great. Only the rooms are very noisy from the street, even during the middle of the night. The location of the hotel is also good, close to Tahrir Square.
It was so comfortable that I extended my stay another night (lol).
The guy at the front desk didn't say much, but he said goodnight. I was happy.
I really wanted to have the maid's breakfast.
To be honest, the retro elevator was scary the first time I rode it. I didn't really know how to use it. It wouldn't move unless you touched the control panel with your security key chain.
You can't enter the guest room floors without a security key, so I think it's safe for women too.
The area around the hotel was lit up even at night, and there were lots of people there.
I can confidently recommend this hotel!
It was inconvenient that JCB cards couldn't be used in Egypt, but I was able to withdraw local currency from an ATM near this hotel.
There are two ATMs lined up next to each other just past the Vodafone shop.

The location is good as it is close to the downtown area. The building may be difficult to find at first glance. It was clean and the room was spacious for the price. The staff was also kind. You can see the whole view of Cairo from the rooftop.
The hotel is located in one part of a building, so you have to take an elevator to get to the entrance. The elevator is a different type than in Japan, so it's surprising at first, but it's fun to think of it as an experience. As the reviews said, I think this hotel can be recommended to Japanese people as well.
Stay calm , clean and safe in the heart of cairo city in one of the most lovely calm hostels in cairo with average budget . Friendly staff , clean room , AC , tv screen , private bathroom with no noise from outside .
The staff are friendly, but their service is hit or miss.
The female staff are hospitable.
The map shows the hotel is located on a main street, but the reception is on the fifth floor in a back alley, so it can be a bit difficult if you don't know how to use the elevator.
The shower and toilet are combined, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel to Japanese people who are not used to traveling abroad.
The location isn't bad.

HHO YINGI don't know how this hotel has a high score of 4.6? I won't choose again anyway. The facilities are too simple, the room doesn't even have a stool, what you want is nothing, the pillow is hard like sleeping on wood, the bed is hard, and the sleep is completely sore.
GGuest UserGreat place to base out of when visiting Cairo. The rooms are clean and the staff (especially Anas) are super friendly while doing whatever they can to make your staff in Egypt the best. They've got connections and can even help with making tour recommendations and reservations. Best of all, there is no pressure to take additional services if the price isn't what you had in mind. They're very accommodating . In fact they are more of a family run business while focusing more on you as a person and less as a customer. You'll come as strangers but leave as friends.
GGuest UserVery satisfactory hotel, the hotel is in a good location, very quiet, the surrounding environment is also very good, the room is clean and tidy, the space is large, the bathroom is also large, the staff are very enthusiastic, and the breakfast is also very good. This is my favorite hotel on this trip to Egypt, with a very high cost performance.
GGuest UserThe cleanliness is good, but there is no room service. We stayed for four nights and no one cleaned the house. We renewed the room on the last day and wanted to have the house cleaned. They said the housekeeping staff left in the morning. But the boss is very enthusiastic! The lack of room service makes me feel that the price is quite high and not worth it! It is similar to a homestay. It is recommended to stay in a hotel.
LLUThe hotel is located in the center of the old city of Cairo, about 15-20 minutes walk from Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. The surrounding area is very prosperous and the buildings are easy to find. Opposite the National Bank, there is a GA sign downstairs, and the old buildings are old-fashioned. You need to swipe your card to go up and down in the elevators; the decoration of the rooms is quite new, and they have been repainted. The windows are relatively large, but they are not soundproof. The rooms facing the street are a bit noisy because the surrounding area is very busy. Toast and freshly brewed coffee, it seems that you can’t make it yourself, but bread, butter, boiled eggs and yogurt are no problem to eat; although some of the service staff are not very good in English, they are very enthusiastic and thoughtful; double and double bed rooms It’s quite spacious, and the bed is more comfortable, but the bedding that is changed for each guest is not particularly clean and needs to be improved; the hot shower is not too clear, it can be hot and cold; it is very convenient to go to the subway or take a taxi here. The old market is about a 20-minute drive away. The traffic jam in Cairo is too serious. If you go to the airport, you still have to leave early to make more time.
