Staying at the Marriott in Cairo was an exceptional experience. The location is unbeatable, situated right next to the Nile River, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The swimming pool is great, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The gym is fantastic, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to cater to all fitness needs.
The customer service is top-notch, with the reception staff being particularly super helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly and efficiently. Our two kids really enjoyed the stay as well, which made our visit even more memorable. Simply the best in Cairo—highly recommend and we will definitely visit again!

The hotel is centrally located in a quiet area in Zamalek and easily accesible to all atttactions in Cairo. The hotel has aged and yet being maintained fairly.
We had a truly wonderful stay at Novotel El Borg. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Kareem at the reception. He was incredibly kind, professional, and customer-friendly—his genuine hospitality really set the tone for our stay.
A special thanks also to Mr. Mohamed Tahir, who helped with our luggage. He was polite and helpful, making us feel at ease right away.
We booked the Superior Suite and it was absolutely worth it—the view of the Nile River was simply breathtaking and made our stay even more memorable. The hotel’s location is perfect, right along the Nile and close to many key attractions in Cairo.
Overall, everything from service to the view exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cairo!

For the price we paid for three rooms at over US$100 a night and considering it was a Hilton we were extremely disappointed in the rooms. The lobby looked promising, and the staff was very nice. However, the rooms looked borderline ******* and did not feel super clean. There were weird hallways and random rooms that we had to walk into before going into the hotel room itself well the staff was amazing. I cannot say that it is Hilton standard or quality and was extremely disappointed. Considering Hilton is a worldwide brand.
Nice room and nice staff. The surrounding is good but a bit noisy at night. There are also some nice restaurants near the hotel. In general, the hotel is a good choice for visitors to stay.
The hotel is located in the wealthy area of Cairo, with the Chinese Embassy downstairs. The hotel has its own restaurant with moderate prices and good taste. The service staff is enthusiastic and it is very convenient to call a taxi nearby. It is worth recommending.

As for the hotel, the location is excellent...and the services are good and not excellent...the reception does not have sufficient knowledge of dealing with guests...for example, brother Omar...and all the brothers, respect to them and to the respected company Trip. Thank you.
This hotel was better than expected. We didnt stay at our usual hotel as the prices for Cairo currently are very high so this was the first time at this hotel.
The location is really good - pharmacies, restaurants, kiosks and a Metro market all with 30 seconds walk of the hotel and of course Zamalek is really central so a good hub for Uber and getting around the city.
Prior reviews are pretty bad but we found the hotel incredibly clean, the side nile view room we had was large, well appointed, the furniture was certainly not tired and we were pleased with the room from a comfort and business perspective. WIFI worked well, a desk in the room and settee and the bed was GREAT.
They really dont have any facilities and there is no gym which is an issue for us but we knew this before booking but there are many gyms close by so dont let this be an issue - just GOOGLE!
The breakfast by Egyptian standards was alright. The big plus is the omlette/egg station and they also do morning crepes. Fruit, hot food section, breads,, salads etc and frankly it does the job. Egyptians do breakfast really well so although this is a bit below par on an Egyptian level - on a European level it is very good compared to your travelodges and Holiday Inn Express's in the UK.
The staff as always are friendly, attentive and yes you need to tip but this is the same in all Egypt - average tip is 20 EGP. Leave something to housekeeping and you will get lot of extras eg extra coffee etc.
I liked the hotel, the other reviewers I think may have been there as tourists expecting something different but frankly this is a good tourist class hotel and its always a good sign when you see Egyptians staying which there were.

GGuest UserI had a sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. Everything including floors, beds and bed linen, the bathroom, toilet and shower, was super clean. The shower has good water pressure. The bed was very firm.. Everything worked. The location is really good.
You don't feel like you're staying in a modern 5 star hotel, but for the money this is a very good hotel.
MMansriWe really liked the location. A lively street with lots of quality restaurants, shisha cafes, etc. close to everyone and in the center of Cairo.
You should know that my hotel's swimming pool is also that of a swimming club, so it is busy from morning to evening. This is a detail to take into account if you think you will find peace and quiet there. There is what they call a large hammam which is more of a pool between a swimming pool and a paddling pool. This did the trick for us to cool off after a day of visiting in the heat. We didn't have time to hang out by the pool with the amount of things to do in Cairo. The breakfast is correct and good. I find the value for money good. We were put in a room on the street side which seemed to be a problem because of the noise and incessant honking, it's a local habit but ultimately no, we slept very well. We went to bed late between midnight and 2 a.m. so it was quieter.
