The staff were very nice and took care of my luggage.
The facilities cannot be called clean. The shower room is sandy.
Breakfast was included and consisted of bean soup, boiled rice, and jam toast. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't delicious either.

Where to start.... The hotel lobby is a good summary of the place. Going with 2 teenagers, I wanted to show them typical Cairo. We were served. The sanitary facilities are dirty and dilapidated...the hotel rents out its bar in the evening for private parties which allows you to sleep from 1 a.m. The restaurant which has a decent menu can only serve you Nuggets/Chips for the price of a meal outside..scam. Breakfast reminding me of the one served during my military service, namely frozen butter and first-rate jam. Possibility of asking for reheated beans (fouls) and even not good ones. The only positive side of the hotel is its location and Madjid the receptionist. Otherwise to avoid especially since these neighborhood hotels are legion and we went to dinner at the Osiris hotel which for the same price welcomes you very well.
