don't reserve it. this is not hotel. it is like hostel. when i arrived they didng give me room . they said room already is full. and they send me to other hotel and also they didn't care about my reservation. ithay gave me a very dirty room with very impolite staff. the name of that hotel was velvet 1889 tow these hotel are Fraudster.

Beds are not comfortable. Old .the toilets are not clean..it's just a time pass for less budget.nothing special.building is very old.only plus point is location.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and enthusiastic about recommending food to us and upgrading our room. But this hotel is intolerable to Chinese people. Unless you are used to living in a wall-mounted room for 20 yuan a night. The quilt core is just like the quilt core carried by European tramps, and there is no quilt cover. I went straight to a five-star hotel and slept in the middle of the night. Hotels in Cairo that cost less than 1,000 yuan cannot be occupied.

言語が不安な1人旅の方は絶対にオススメしません。繋がらないWi-Fiを、そのためコミュニケーションもとくに取れず(最低限の言語を学ばなかった私も悪いです)どんどん高圧的になっていく態度。しまいには他のホテルに移され理由を聞くと「空き部屋が無いから」と。予約とは？移されたホテルは朝食は無い、ドライヤーも無い、ベッドメイキングもなければ蟻が湧いてくる始末です。明らかに先に払っている宿泊費の半分以下のクオリティでした。他の低評価を見るとこれが常套手段なんだろうなと思ってしまいます。高評価の方をみると一概に悪いホテルではないのでしょうが、初めてのエジプトでしょっぱなそんな対応をされてしまい精神的にかなりへこみました。気をつけて下さい。思い出しただけでも腹が立ちます。

Do not stay. As others have recently said, we were told the deluxe balcony room we booked wasn't available and they were going to move us to another hotel. We waited a fee hours and no such room appeared so we left. We are three older people with sufficient resources and will to leave but I would hate to think of a solo female in that position.

I went to this place for a few nights. The location is very good where you can find plenty of shops and some places to eat nearby. This place is more like a hostel but my booking was saying it was a hotel. The rooms are pretty basic and a little rundown. The bed mattress was rather uncomfortable and needed to be changed. The breakfast was hard boiled eggs with Egyptian pita bread. The staff was fine. Overall is was a cheap place to stay only to have a bed or a shower but it's fine if you're on a low budget.

I am very impressed with the place and the possibilities. The place is very nice, in addition to the quality of the internet and the cleanliness. I went there recently to stay for two weeks. During the time I stayed there, the manager mr Imad and his team gave amazing service, provided everything I asked for. During my stay, i felt so comfortable almost as if I was part of family there. He helped me around town, showed me main sights to see and anything else I needed help with. I would highly recommend this place and especially mr imad and his team who spent their time and energy on making sure I got everything I asked for. They even specialise in organising and arranging events and places which was really useful and made it easier for me as a foreigner there.
