Miramar Evergreen Hotel

I had two bookings at this hotel, across a ten day period. My first booking was for one week as a solo traveler; nice room, quite a good location. Breakfast is very basic and on one occasion I waited more than 30 minutes for it. To summarize: first time here was quite decent. I arrived for my second booking with my girlfriend, one day after checking out from the first booking. We were denied a room and were told the booking had been transferred to their ‘sister hotel’. I was treated as if I was never there for a whole week previously and asked the man behind the counter if he remembered me, he said yes of course and our not being allowed to stay in the hotel was “not personal”. We reluctantly went to the other hotel where the room was much smaller, the walls were in a bad state of disrepair and everything felt quite dirty. We asked to cancel and get a refund and was told I wouldn’t be charged a cancellation fee. I was charged a cancellation fee of one nights board. The receptionist in the second hotel was very smug and seemed to find out predicament quite funny. I will never come back to either hotel after being treated so shabbily. I was told I could call the manger back the next day in regards to the cancellation fee but our schedule was very busy and there was really no time to deal with something that was caused entirely by the hotel and their failure to uphold our pre-paid reservation.

The worst hotel that i stay. Toilet and bathroom flooding. No electricity during 3-5pm. No hairdryer. The bad taste breakfast. No hot water in shower. I highly recommend not to stay here. Bull ****
