The hotel is down from the previous level, the rooms are a AC-B لما I need a scent, or the Pearl Respension says a present, and the other one is a Yagi scent. I ask for a scent box, or the Pearl says, ”No, if I'm a scent in the BS.” Well, is it a talk? I mean, I'm a perfume or perosol, the home and Jay, in the name of a respected company called the public oil company. Of course, no, especially, and the bathroom -- God dear -- Maviush is a slippery, if you let them pay attention to the slippery, the bathroom for your restaurant, I'm not going to ask for lunch or dinner under the slippery, is it imposed on me, or on the slippery, and the water is not imposed on it, and the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the slippery, the s With the whole meal together. A walk of necessity means every time we say Hatwa live a medicine Hatwa da Ana Lu in a normal or popular meal restaurant that you get off the ground with the food. Your presence is a big company that we're supposed to treat as big as your presence is a Jain Blasch, our company, we're going to walk with our beauty. In my way, your hotel is unfortunately bad at me and think about any Tani hotel contracted with the public oil company and advise my colleagues and friends, whether on the sites of communication or Trip Advisor to think a lot or not to go to you, and the idea that all Egyptians walk some of the garment in preserving rooms. There are Egyptians who are learning from them by foreigners -- so that you're here, and you're happy with them -- what it means to be clean and thank you.

Me and my girlfriend are travelling to Egypt and after being told by our originally booked hotel that out room was not available anymore (upon landing in Cairo) we have been given the lastminute choice to stay at Cecilia hotel by Booking.com. Luckily the destiny has done things right!! Attentive and very friendly people run this little hotel in Cairo downtown, close to centre, museums, shops, restaurants, cafe in a very safe area to go around in couple or solo. Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and breakfast with a beautiful terrace where to spend the evening drinking something and meeting new people. Room was clean and good for 2 star hotel. Absolutely recommended and will come back!

I like this hotel because of the location. It has a small pool but unfortunately pigeons love the pool as much as a customers and I don't like pigeons. They need to do something to limit the number of pigeons that like to drink the pool water. There is a machine that you can buy that pigeons hate the sound of and the people can't hear. The rooms are a bit small but they gave me a room where I could see the Nile the Ritz-Carlton and the Egyptian museum so ask for room at the end of the building. Staff is top-notch and goes out of their way to help you. Don't book tourist from the concierge it's a rip off. I've stayed at this hotel three times because of the location and the professionalism of the staff.

We arrived to Cairo to stay at the marriot hotel, a former beautiful palace. Unfortunately and even though we were given a really nice garden view room, we had some problems (noises) with the bathroom pipes during the night. Nevertheless the following day we explained the problem and we were not only changed without any question but offered an even better room! Thanks Qamar for all your help! This is what a 5 star hotel should be!

We stayed here for 1 month in August, and now we returned again. Indiana Hotel is a great option for affordable accomodation in Cairo. Located in Dokki, a pleasant area with lots of shops, cafes, pharmacies nearby, and the river nile 2 min walk away with beautiful restaurants. The best thing about the hotel is the spacious, big rooms, comfy beds. Large fridge, TV, lots of seating area in the room, Also they include breakfast which makes it better value, you can expect things like Egyptian bread, fresh salad, falafel, and free coffee or tea. The staff are all friendly, accommodating. If you are looking for basic, clean accomodation it's perfect. located in a nice area of Dokki. Recommend cafe Antakh 2min walk away.

A hotel full of experience The room is not big but overall it is pretty good. The bath water is also okay. The price/performance ratio is super high. Opposite is the Mina Palace You can see the pyramid from the breakfast area. It’s very nice to take pictures in the morning. I recommend everyone to take photos and check in from there. PParadise29219317280My wife and I had a quick, 24-hour layover in Cairo and wanted to see the pyramids and sphinx and relax before a long trip home. The Four Seasons delivered in all possible ways. Concierge arranged to pick us up at the airport (flying in from Sharm El Sheikh) and then checked us in to our room, all before 9:30 am. We then had time to freshen up, enjoy a relaxed breakfast, and then meet our driver and tour guide for a trip to the sites. Our driver for the tour and also for the round trip to and from the airport was Mohsen Ahmed, and he was wonderful. Our tour guide, Ash Saad Saghloul, was also outstanding. Both gents took very good care of us, didn't rush at any point, and left any additional side trips (for shopping) completely up to us. Had us back to the hotel early in the afternoon so we could relax. We then had an early dinner at 8, which was as good as reviews have made it out to be (and, yes, we had dim sum and Chinese food overlooking the Nile as our farewell dinner to Egypt). Our room was very comfortable and the views of the Nile and the Pyramids from our balcony made it all feel very special. All said, it was a perfect 24 hours in Cairo and just what we wanted. Thanks to all at the Four Seasons for making that happen and making it so easy and comfortable.

GGuest UserI love Hilton and tend to stay at them due to status but this one my goodness. The hotel looks so  nice on the inside you arrive go in the Lobby and its like wow but  the outside look especially  by the pool area looks terrible. The only good service we had at this Hilton was Martina Naeim whom  emailed us before coming to this Hilton she helped by accommodationing  us with early check in. The check in desk isn't really traditional  its just common deskz which throws you off.  Ola was our  front desk person and she waa great and  helpful she  explained the policy and procedures as we checked in early from the airport, dropped our luggage in our room and went for an excursion for the day. We got back around 3pm and went to the pool area. As soon as we got to the pool area some man with a life guard shirt started asking us about a $1 stated we owed money and to pay our bill.  We just back got to the hotel after our day excursion and we  were only here for one day so we were supper confused and this interaction and the man never came  back so it left a sour taste. Next  after this experience we wanted beer from the pool bar which for some reason  the bar was out of most of there beers. We did get one and hung out by the pool area but 20 mins after getting our beer the bartender  comes with a check stating he is closing in 20 mins so we asked for another one which he got one and we signed the checked. We thought that the area must close soon. It started getting loud in the pool area due too 2 weddings in the area.   Well 30 mins after the bartender  brought out the 2nd beer this  same bartender walked  back and forth asking if we wanted another beer. We assumed he be closed by now since he told us he be closed 30 mins prior so we were definitely not gonna order another one as we were upset that he lied and then the pacing back and forth was not very pleasing. Plus the noise from both parties began  to make it unbearable  to be outside. Definitely don't get a room facing the pool this was terrible.  Two  weddings were going on outside and the pool area was not relaxing so went to our room. This was even worse the noise from both parties made the room vibrate and was so loud, it was very hard to get sleep.  The good about this place was the lobby which is gorgeous, the beds were super comfortable and I loved having the complimentary airport shuttle to the airport every hour.  But this is not Hilton I suggest. No shuttle service from airport, no complimentary breakfest bags(we had early flights so didn't get to enjoy breakfast), and no happy hour deals. Not a place I would come back to. Hope they come back with Hilton standards.

GGuest UserHow should I put it, the environment is average, a bit old, and not suitable for this price range. It needs to be updated and renovated. It may be because the transportation is more convenient and the location is better, so the price is there. There is no obvious advantage compared with other hotels.

AAnonymous UserIn general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

GGuest UserThe Holy Sheet Hostel has a great location and we felt we were very central in Cairo. The area is somewhat walkable but never feels safe and gives a whole new meaning to walk like an Egyptian. In the morning the streets are quiet but after 2 pm everything seems to get crazy! The staff are very friendly here. The breakfast was nothing special but it was a nice fresh meal with tea or coffee to start our day. Mario, Alex and the kitchen staff were helpful enough and always friendly to us. This is one of the cheaper places to stay in the area so we can't complain too much about it but we wish it was cleaner. We booked the twin room which had a bathroom inside of it. The beds had hair in them already and the room smelled a little bit from the drains. The AC did work well though and the room was very quiet all night which was nice. The toilet and shower are in the same box without a roof or fan so go #2 at your own risk. We chose to use the shared toilets in the hall which had fans. We were a little disappointed with the booking and check in process. We chose Trip for booking and it started three currencies in our booking but also showed we only had to pay 3100 Egyptian Pounds when we arrived for our three night stay based on the currency exchange when we booked. However, when we arrived they told us we booked through Expedia and had to pay 3600 Egyptian Pounds instead. We went back and forth for a bit but because it was late they were kind enough to check us in without paying because they could not reach their manager. The next day however I went to inquire and they said the manager said no and they tacked on another 300 Egyptian pounds to our check in because we were using a credit card. They did say that if we had used Booking or Hostel World we wouldn't have these issues. This has never been an issue in my 4 years using this booking platform so I'm disappointed in this hostel and their management team for this. The hostel is a little tricky to find but it is tucked down a street which is blocked off to cars and is on the 2nd floor of an older building. There is an elevator to get you up there but it is old style meaning that all the doors and gates have to be closed in order for it to operate. There are a ton of cats nearby and some good restaurants and convenience stores too.

GGuest Userif you got room number start from 5, which means your room is at the garden view room, that was very terrible, the facilities are super old and not clean there. You`d must better to ask the staff to change your room, the rooms in the main building are renovated, with nicer facilities and cleaner shuttle bus is very convinient

GGuest UserWe stayed in a renovated room so bathroom was newly done and the walls were freshly painted. Nice light options to relax with softer light. Curtain and carpet were also new and inviting. Bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean. We enjoyed our stay. It seems that rooms are being updated since other reviews were written. Many reviews seem harsh considering the price you pay. It's a higher end budget stay after all. We got soap, toilet paper and towel. You can't expect everything for a budget price. Reception area was nicely decorated for Ramadan and staff were friendly. Location is great and a fun part of Cairo to explore. Nice night markets! Typical city noises but not too loud to sleep considering its the centre of the city. Balcony sliding doors are new and close but there is no view to mention. Other guests we saw seemed content as they socialised in public area. I prepaid with hotel.com to avoid payment issues. Public areas do need some more renovation and some repairs but again, it did not reduce the comfort of my stay and it was acceptable being dusted and clean. It's good for Cairo. We enjoyed using the quaint art nouveau gilded style lift! A good experience overall.
