Waren 3 Nächte und auch nur zum Schlafen dort, daher vollkommen ausreichend. Zimmer war sehr groß, viel Platz, große Dusche und einen Balkon. Pool haben wir nicht benutzt. Personal sehr freundlich Zimmer könnte etwas sauberer sein. Es war jedoch klar, dass erst ab dem 2. Tag gereinigt wird. Bei uns lag das kleine tote Krabbelvieh immer noch am selben Ort neben dem Nachttisch, obwohl die Betten gemacht waren. Man hätte es also sehen müssen. Aber gut. Wie gesagt, uns hat es wegen den 3x Schalfen nicht gestört. Frühstück war auch in Ordnung, denke es findet jeder etwas. Toast, Brötchen, Joghurt, Obstsalat, Kaffee, Tee, Cornflakes, Säfte, Marmelade, Honig... usw. In die Stadt sind es ca 15 min Fußweg. Da direkt nebenan ein Krankenhaus ist, ist 2x der Helikopter gelandet aber ansonsten haben wir kaum Sirenen gehört. Würden wieder dort hin gehen. Achja und das balinesische Restaurant (morgens der Frühstücksraum) ist super lecker und immer voll gewesen, daher am besten vorher reservieren. Habe dazu eine extra Bewertung geschrieben

The city of Cairns is small and there are not many people, but every morning, many people who run in the morning on the beach will feel that their life is very pleasant. The photos provided by the operators are extremely deceptive. The accomodation is old and run down. The shower tiles were painted at some stage, and it is now peeling off both the floor and the walls. The “updated” vanity basin and tap are poorly sizes and you are unable to fully wash your face due to the shape and size of the basin with a shorter necked faucet . There is no complete enclosure for water in the shower resulting in you flooding the bathroom each time you shower- we ended up using the common showers in the passageway to attempt keep our room dry. The toilet paper is only single ply so bring your own if you decide to stay here !! Our towels and sheets had stains on them and the pillows are flat and lumpy. I wouldn’t swim in the pool unless you’ve had your latest tetanus shots. We were followed back to the accommodation by a slightly hostile homeless person one night which was slightly unnerving for our teenage daughters. The nicest part of this accommodation is the outdoor BBQ area. The breakfast provided smelt ok, but we decided to eat at the cafe at the marina each day as we were heading out to the reef and islands anyways. We decided to stay here and save money as generally we are out during the day and only need a comfortable bed and a clean shower- next time we will be going back to our regular accommodation closer to the Esplanade. I

I really loved this motel as it was very Quiet during the day and night, even though they were full with guests. The motel was very, very clean, the beds were very comfortable and there was enough room for my two young children to play. The staff at reception were so friendly and helpful in arranging a ground floor unit for me. I have noticed that many hotels in Cairns are not staffed since Covid and it was so wonderful to have friendly staff available at reception and answering phones. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I will be back.

There is no breakfast, the room is large and clean, can accommodate 4 people, one large bed and two small beds, the bed is very comfortable, the room can also cook, and the kitchenware is full. The location is excellent, it is very convenient to be close to the supermarket and the seaside. The old lady is very nice and welcoming. Next time you stay in Cairns. Oh, forget to say, the cat is so cute!

Not at all like the pictures on the net. Aptmt lacking basic kitchen utensils like oven, microwave/serving bowls, cutting implements etc. No A/C in living area. Only the rooms had old style A/C & fans which hadn’t been cleaned. 1x 2 seater couch for 6. No double bed w/bunk. Just 4 bunk beds. Backpacker’s dream over the main flight path to Cairns Airport. Not for adults on holidays. Won’t be staying here again. Pool & spa was a good bonus, although warm water. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again.
