I got married in this Hotel on September. The scenery is just perfect for our intimate wedding. One thing that I have to comment is their Restaurant. Despite the nature loving atmosphere, they have limited choices of Vegeterian Foods (e.g Salads). Prior to my wedding, I approached the Restaurant head requesting for a Salad on my wedding day as my lunch and they agreed. On the day of my wedding, we ordered at 9am and has not received my lunch until 11:30am after consistent follow-ups. I got stressed because of this! The next day when I told them, the staff did not even bother to apologize. He said, that happened because they were busy. Staffs need more training on how to prioritize orders and speak to Customers.

It was a 40-minute drive from the airport. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast great - special mention to the coffee. The staff are courteous and very accomodating. They have a free wi-fi which a good way to stay connected especially this was a business trip.

Staff are very corteous and helpful. Most especially the buffet breakfast staff. Will definitely go back to stay in this hotel again. The food is what you expect from a breakfast standpoint of a decent hotel. Special mention to the waiter named Galmer for being very helpful.

Its a pleasant stay. The staffs are very nice, they even booked us water rafting to the company that offer such. Our room is very spacious and clean. Though we wish they atleast provide free bottled water for the guest as most hotels do. But overall, we enjoyed our stay here. We will 💯% recommend this hotel.

Me and my husband usually visit Seda when we have extra money to spend. Dati sa lux eh before we stumbled upon seda and since then we always booked the latter kasi we prefer this one. The rooms are spacious and clean. Very convenient ang location kasi pagbaba mo dikit na agad ang ayala centrio. Breakfast buffet is great too.

Located in the heart of downtown Cagayan de Oro, just near a university this Hotel attracts visitors due to its student-friendly economy. Although I did not ask my host how much he paid, (because we are a group attending a one and a half day workshop the venue of which is the university beside it) for my overnight stay in the hotel's single room, twin bed, I could imagine it must be less than Php1thou/night. It is actually the second time I stayed in this hotel. the first one when we were four in one room. So, I already knew what to expect. It would help a would-be visitor to this hotel that: 1) Floors are not very clean, so I suggest bring a cleaning rug with you. 2) Beddings are not so immaculately clean. Mine had a brown bogger-like that clung in the sheet. Learn to be patient. Anyway, it will only be for overnight. 3)And, this is very important. Don't be shy to ask for soap and toilet paper because it is not provided in your room. The reception desk supplies you with this very important basic amenities. Therefore 4) bring your own shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste and your pair of slippers. Important for every stay in a hotel is comfort and a clean bathroom. The airconditioning functions but is noisy. But it's alright. The bathroom is clean yes. That I guarantee. So, over-all I would say, if one is not so picky, the GV hotel is the place to stay when one is on a tight budget.

My flight got canceled in CDO and the airlines I booked with placed us in this hotel. I was honestly disappointed at first because I had a very bad experience here two years ago. But, it has apparently improved by a huge deal since. The staff was better, the breakfast was a buffet, they had brewed coffee, and the coffee shop was pleasant. I guess pick a room with a balcony. It is so much better than the one without. This reminds me of the glory days of the old Cagayan de Oro

DDonato_D_ExplorerAt the lobby/reception- we were welcomed from the point we took our luggage out of the cab. Thanks to the man, security personnel who helped us. Checking in was very smooth and all details were well explained by the receptionist. Requested a room with HI-SPEED internet and yes, we were placed in a very cozy room. Room- perfect and amazing; with complete utilities. Clean and with a very comfy ambiance. Breakfast- this is a 4 star breakfast. And, thank you to Amor and Precious for being so accomodating. I was offered with coffee even if the breakfast was over. They offered me to clean the room which I politely declined because I am doing some important stuff. Still, they offered to change my pair of towels and additional utilities for the day. Great service ! Sure will be back here!

GGuest UserThe Great: all the staff are very accommodating, helpful, and salute you by holding their hand over their heart. The staff really tries hard. Great common area environment. Great pool. Excellent maintenance. When I was running late, and breakfast buffet was closing, the restaurant called my room to see if I wanted to eat; They kept the buffet open for me. You don't find service like that everywhere. The Good: safe in room; mattresses a little hard but okay; shampoo, lotion, toothpaste and toothbrush, soap, extra TP roll included; phone in room and bathroom; hangers in closet; refrigerator in room; bottled water, coffee and tea supplies in room. Only one grounded outlet in the room, but was at the desk, so was able to plug grounded computer outlet in. I was not able to verify outlet near sink was GFCI protected. Bidet. Western style toilet; entire room and bathroom were clean. I was happy that even though I hadn't used both bottles of water before house keeping came, they added 2 more bottles per day. As everywhere in PH, don't drink the tap water. The Bad: The room was a little sp**** and lacked the high-quality aesthetic and art that the common areas have. There were no hand towels or washcloths. The TV did not work (I did not contact Front Desk to resolve the issue, but I am sure they would have). Shower handset needs updating. Tip: Don't trust GPS to get you here -- Google Maps has road names wrong. Trust your driver. Call and book directly with the hotel to get discount rates-- not available on agoda, or CapitalOne Travel, etc. I would have extended my stay, but they were fully book the next days. I will definitely be back! Note to management: to become 4-star, improve mattresses, improve room asthetic, improve AC on 3rd floor common area, improve shower area and include wash cloth and hand towels.

CClenton AllisonStaff was great they arrange wash my clothes for 200 fpf and repair hole in my pants. Toilet had toilet seat I wash my body on that seat. They have cold to hot water shower wand with 4 settings for temp.
Room small but great for the price. Aircon was cold if you wanted that. TV and power switch. The street noise is loud but I sleeped ok. No elevator just stairs. Del Monte pineapple factory across the street but was quiet to me.
Jollibee is 10 fpf jeepee and Chow King is before Jollibee under overpass that street to mall. About hour and half drive time by taxi. But you can take busses to Davon and other places

AAnonymous UserThe location is very good. Less than 5 minutes walk from Gaisano Mall. Easy to check in. Room is okay that is enough for 2-3 days sleep. Price is good. They have towel,soap and shampoo. Also have TV and fridge. You can ask for a hairdryer if you want. They have water dispenser on the hallways which is very good! It would be nice if they have cups for coffee.

There were cockroaches twice, but I destroyed them😇 There is air conditioning and hot water, but sometimes it's noisy outside the window. For this price, the hotel is great. Wi fi also was ok.

KKaryl CI believe it’s a new hotel in CDO. The rates are cheap and the room that I got is really great. The environment is also good so you can sleep well and soundly. I recommend this hotel especially to those backpackers out there! A must stay hotel in CDO!

GGuest Userwe went to this on dec 28, 2021 at 2pm. hoping that we will just check in because were already tired from travelling from zamboanga to CDO. and we already paid our reservations 2 weeks before our trip. yet, when arriving at their counter. their front desk employee told us that there were no more available rooms. (see how stupid their ways of processing works ? and we cant even park our vehicle properly. their free parking means that its 2 blocks away from the actual hotel -_-. and they didnt even mention that. but the worst part is. on our 2nd day of vacation. my family and i decided to go to seven seas water park. that means we need to leave early and to leave our hotel for the whole day. and so we did. on the 3rd day. dec 30, 2021. my brother notice that his money worth 5000 thousand pesos was taken from his wallet inside our room. where he left it. and so after noticing that we got rob. we decided to confront the hotel asking them to show their footage of their cctv. and they denied us. they said, ( only their manager has the password for their cameras.) and so what we did is we ask for the number of their manager to inform them about our situation. when speaking to the manager. She was already screaming at my mom through their phone saying that my mom violated their boundary, saying that she trespass to their counter. do you guys hear how stupid thats sounds ? were the ones who got rob and yet their the ones who are more angrier . to fact that the room has only one entry and its the front door of that room, its means that they used the spare key of our room to get inside and stole my brothers money. so my brothers and my mom went to the nearest police station to report the incident. after reporting it, 2 of the police officers went with them from the police station to the hotel. after the police office confronted them , they immediately attend the police office with their IT head to access their cctv. why didn't they do this when we were asking for it ? . after hours of checking the cctv they told us (my family and the police) that their cctv are not recording anything.

GGuest UserI paid for a double room but when I arrived I was told that the information on the website is not correct and that I needed to pay extra for it. I told the manager that I should get a double room as advertised on the website. She told me that I should call the red door owner and I said that the price for the double room should be honored as advertised. The manager reluctantly agreed to my request but in the end made it right.
