Caen Hotels with Gym

Breakfast is OK, feel better than Novotel Paris Versailles, you can squeeze orange juice and fried poached eggs, the other is basically bread milk coffee tea juice, the same as the European hotels. It is not in the center of the town, on the high-speed side, but the place in Caen is not big. It takes 5 minutes to drive to the pedestrian street. Free parking, one big bed plus one sofa bed (can sleep two children)

A bit far from the main attraction of the castle, very convenient for self-driving tourists, there is a private parking lot, 4 euros a day. The kitchen is fully equipped. The front desk service is worthy of praise. I suspected that I had lost my mobile phone when I first checked in. The front desk helped me check the CCTV to help me find it. Later, I found it under the quilt in the room. They also had no complaints.

Room was big with a small kitchen. Bathroom pretty small but ok for a night. Breakfast was good with a lot to chose from. No A/C in the room so it got pretty hot during the day and didn’t decrease much at night. Location north of the city but close to the tram to the city center

I think that the hotel is in a great location, however the surrounding area is very loud and not too great. The street side area is a bit creepy at night with a lot of men just hanging out outside the hotel door area. We actually got locked out of our room and they gave us a new key without any request to show any identification... which was a bit strange. The check in was fast, and it is a good deal for the price. You get what you pay for.

My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France.
