Cachi is beautiful and the scenery surrounding the hotel is magnificent. But the customer service needs major improvements. Staff was not responsive to simple requests (a bed was missing pillows), and argumentative about making a dinner reservation. Towels in the room were rough as sandpaper. It was not swimming weather during our stay, so they should either empty or cover the pool and fountain. They were filthy and disgusting to look at. The food in restaurant was delicious and the staff was amazing. Our waitress gave us more information about the hotel than the woman at check in...such as the amazing rooftop where you can see a million stars (make sure you turn of the rooftop lights!) and also that they have a wine cellar and TV room for guests to use.

Beautiful location a short drive from the plaza. The staff was very helpful. We loved the colonial house and the food was good. Just an amazing experience.

On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been given a huge suite. It was amazing and a shame we were only there for one night. The room was large and very comfortable. We had a delicious breakfast with freshly squeezed juice, fresh baked bread and a range of pastries. We had drinks from the bar but never ate in the hotel. We were just blown a at with the characterful charm and stunning views from every window. The hotel is very tranquil and set in a stunning location. The swimming pool and grounds are so well looked after and maintained. Cachi is an incredibly friendly place. The locals go out of their way to welcome you. If you see the pepper drying place, go in and chat with the owner. He used google translate to explain what they did there. We bought some very reasonably priced spices from him.

Fabulous position with tremendous views of the mountains. Quite a distance out of Cachi so you need a car or a taxi. Very nice grounds and a pool if it is warm enough. Lovely old colonial design with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Large comfy bed. Staff were very helpful. Dinner was good and a reasonable price too.

Excellent hotel, beautiful building and rooms and stunning views in all directions. We were travelling so only stayed one night but could easily have stayed a few more days to enjoy this beautiful hotel and stunning scenery. The rooms were excellent and the dinner in the restaurant extremely good, albeit with huge portions! The staff were very friendly and helpful and my wife wanted to take the house cat home! It’s too far out of town to walk, but there were plenty of taxis available. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
