What a lovely gem of a hotel, we stayed one night while travelling along the Camino. The village of Cacabelos is a lively little place due to all the walkers. The hotel has a great bar/restaurants and gardens, the dinner and drinks were really good quality and not expensive. Plenty of locals in the hotel eating and drinking which is always a good sign. Hopefully will visit and stay again.

In summary absolutely stunning. After a lovely walk through the vines, the hotel, the room, and in particular the lunch (which I would thoroughly recommend) which we had in the hotel was top drawer. The hotel at lunchtime was full of locals which I always think is a good sign.

Lamentablemente, nuestra experiencia en este restaurante fue muy decepcionante. Las truchas que nos sirvieron eran de muy mala calidad, sin sabor y claramente no frescas. Además, la empanada que nos ofrecieron era diminuta, más parecida a una porción de tarta que a un plato de comida. La calidad de la comida en general dejó mucho que desear. El único aspecto positivo fue la decoración, que es realmente hermosa y hace del lugar un sitio agradable para tomarse algo. También merece mención la tienda adjunta, que ofrece productos de gran calidad y es una auténtica maravilla. Sin embargo, el servicio del restaurante fue otro punto negativo. El personal parecía tener muy poca experiencia, lo que se notó en la atención que recibimos. En resumen, aunque el lugar es bonito y la tienda merece una visita, no recomendaría el restaurante por la mala calidad de la comida y el servicio poco profesional.

Unos de los hoteles mejor cuidado y con más detalles en la restauración de un bello y antiguo hospital, Preciosas y cómodas las habitaciones, increíbles las zonas comunes por su amplitud y generosidad en los detalles, un gran aplauso a los decoradores y restauradores así como a la dirección del mismo! Pero nada seria perfecto sin el gran equipo humano que cuida de que el más mínimos detalle haga feliz a los clientes, para repetir y a unos precios “casi bajos” 😅 Muchas gracias a todo el equipo en nombre de las cinco parejas de amigos que estuvimos hospedados allí, ojalá podamos repetir pronto

Una pasada de hotel: bonito, agradable, con un muy buen servicio, con tienda para la venta de productos propios y artesanía. Excelente calidad en sus productos. Buenísimo el desayuno. Oferta de comida muy variada. Menús, raciones y tapas de mucho gusto. Muy bien decorado con mobiliario antiguo y muy cuidado.

Hemos ido a comer varias cosas de picar Pedimos los postres y uno de ellos, tarta casera de queso. Cuando la probamos, vemos que en la Roseta, hay dentro una mosca No solo es inaceptable sino denunciable ante Sanidad Se lo decimos a la camarera que la retira Al pedir la cuenta, vemos que nos cobran la tarta de queso

Para un fin de semana agradable. Las habitaciones muy bien. Limpieza buena. En cuanto a la atención por parte del personal extraordinaria. La cena fuera del comedor estupenda. La casona ( creo que antiguo hospital de peregrinos) muy bonita. En la tienda puedes comprar productos del bierzo.

Comimos en La Moncloa de San Lázaro el 18 de agosto y nos encantó. El restaurante lo tiene todo. Un edificio rural antiguo precioso decorado con mucho encanto. Tiene hasta un punto bucólico en verano. Comimos en la terraza bajo el parterre con una temperatura ideal (a pesar del calor que hacía fuera). Había hasta gorriones piando sobre nosotros. Nos pareció un lugar muy bello y agradable. No es súper económico pero la calidad es excelente y pagar por lo bueno no pica ni pesa. Es un restaurante perfecto para hacerse un regalito a uno mismo. Nos decidimos por el menú San Lázaro. 75 euros para dos personas y te quedas verdaderamente bien. No desperdicias comida y te vas completamente saciado. Trato espectacular por parte de la metre y las camareras. Una experiencia genial. Comida tradicional leonesa/gallega bien cocinada y con muy buena materia prima. Muy recomendable.
