We were there for dinner on a Friday night. We were not guests, but the place was incredibly inviting and romantic. It was magical in the jungle along the river and gorgeous grounds. Full bar and outstanding menu of fresh sea food and organic meats. We had the stuffed avocado with shrimp as an appetizer but was huge and tasty. We split an entrée which was the Molcajete seafood.....wow amazing. Entire lobster enire octopus and several shrimp in a lava rock bowl. Well it was the best last night. A must visit. The staff , Daniel, was attentive and wonderful.

My experience at this property was terrible. The temperature regulation for the shower wasn’t working so the water was either extremely hot or cold. We ended up bathing with cold water and caught a flu. The next day was even worse because the water stopped flowing after my hubby took a shower so I couldn’t take a shower before leaving. It was difficult getting through to the attendants to order breakfast and when we eventually did the food took hours to arrive and we had to leave without having breakfast. The staff was unapologetic which I found really rude. The hotel has potentials but definitely lacks proper management.

This is a new property and mostly like a boutique hotel - just 5 geodesic domes (one room to each one). The staff, WHEN there is very attentive, but early morning, until about 9, no one, that we found, was there. we LOVED the location. Not on the beach, but by a pond/sometimes river. The rooms were fantastic. Bed comfortable but the sheets a bit low grade. Overall we would come back.

The Santuaro the most amazing remote place to spend a quiet time ! The rooms are a beautiful luxury dome like space on a lake .. you will be taken care of like your family ! Great service (service with a smile .) Mesa ( the beautiful young lady and Manuel ( cool Mexican ) are incredible they will pick you up make sure you have what you need and will be your personal tour guide , escort you to dinner and make sure you get home safely!! Best place to go with a few couples to have a quiet place to enjoy good company,,,hope you enjoy as much as I did

Wonderful oasis
Charming place! The staff is excellent and highly available to help with anything or answer any questions. Photos are accurate too! (Came here to relax and do some hiking and it was perfect.)
My only suggestion is that they provide bottled water (or a jug in a water dispenser) — especially for guests staying for multiple nights. They provided this when asked, just would have been nice if it was in the room by default. Also, the WiFi signal did not reach my room (only got service near reception). Then again, it was kind of nice not to have the distraction of being too connected!
