Wonderful location, right on the beach. Nice, low volume music on the beach, friendly staff.
The hotel was doing some renovations but we were on the beach all day so no disturbance for us. It would have been nice to receive a late check out with no charge.
Very good value hotel, highly recommend.

The suites are located on southern beach ***** of the island, accessible by 2 buses or a taxi from the ferry port. Staff was very friendly, although not always aware of things when we asked some questions, but they did endeavour to find out. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and needs some work and the rooms could do with some fresh paint. But overall very nice and comfortable, clean large outdoor pool, plenty of send beds, and umbrellas and beds directly on the beach with lifeguard on duty. The breakfast was tasty too with plenty of options. Would stay again

Following an accident that meant I was unable to ski, we decided on a trip to Madeira over New Year. Whilst researching, I was captivated by the beautiful island of Porto Santo that I had never heard of. We got the ferry over and stayed at the Vila Baleria Suites. The location is absolutely perfect fronting onto the must incredible (and quiet) beach you could imagine. There are few paradise islands that could compete!! We had a wonderful few days exploring the island on e-bikes, diving and sampling some exceptional food (Torres Restaurant was epic). The Vila Baleria group are investing heavily in the locality with new accommodation under construction. There was a mix up with the bill, but here is the thing. Mistakes always happen however careful you are. How you address them defines a business? Bruno Martins the general manager and Goncalo Teixeira were exceptional and define customer service. Thank you to both and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Very worth the price! Quiet location with superb beach and poolarea. The a la carte restaurant was very good with excellent personel. The golfcourse was challenging and very diverse. Quite small Island so if you do not play golf or is a 16 hrs sunbather you minst finf one week a bit long, but it is well worth it.

A minute walk from the magical beach
We stayed in a apartment for 5 nights. It was on the ground floor and it took us 1 min to walk from our room to the magical beach of Porto Santo.
The room was big and cozy and it felt good to stay there. The breakfast was nice.
The only negative thing about our stay was the fact the pool was close due to urgent repair work. This wasn´t known when we booked and we only found out when we arrived. The hotel offered no compensation was offer for this.
But with the hotel being on the beach this issue with the pool was not a big thing for us.
It was easy to get a taxi and the nearest bus stop is ca 300 m from the hotel. But the nearest grocery story is ca 1,5 km away.

Best thing about this hotel is the location but it unfortunately gets let down by the reservation and front of house team in particular. Very unwelcoming, couldn’t seem to care less and do not bother informing the guests about any of the restaurants or facilities and policies at check in. After confirming a sea view room twice I arrive to be told we don’t have one. Spent 45 minutes going back and forth with my elderly parents and tired toddler waiting to only then eventually get the room I originally booked. They still list facilities that no longer exist or are closed for renovation and do not inform you of this at the time of booking. We were not able to have dinner on our first night or lunch at the pool on our last day because no one informed us that you had to make a reservation for both the day before a certain cut off time. Breakfast is very basic and again staff need to be promted to clear dirty plates and cups. All is all apart from the location this hotel experience left much to be desired.
