"The room was a decent size. With two 1.2-meter single beds pushed together, it was perfectly fine for a family of three with a child. What truly impressed me was that the bathroom also came with a huge bathtub. The front desk is on the 2nd floor, offering a variety of toiletries, a selection of bath salts in different scents, and even two types of granular hair treatment serum. That was a delightful surprise! I also picked up several packets of drip coffee and tea bags! There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs. The hotel is not far from the JR station; it's a short walk – just exit the East Gate, cross the street, and walk straight down the main road. It's also close to the fresh market and the fish market. I highly recommend the 12-piece seafood rice bowl at the fish market for 2200 yen!"

"I highly recommend this hotel. First, the amenities are brand new. The 4th-floor lobby has a sophisticated design and the coffee is fantastic, with a wide selection. The rooms are also spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Aomori Bridge. Plus, free capsule coffee is available. The executive corridor on the 6th floor is completely free. After soaking in the apple hot springs, I went upstairs for a glass of apple juice while enjoying the night view of Aomori. It was quite relaxing. As for the service, we left our hats at Sendai Airport, and the hotel staff proactively contacted the airport to let us pick them up on our return trip. The feeling of having found them was incredibly satisfying, and I'm so grateful! Getting around is also very convenient. The bus to Oirase stops right downstairs. A Factory, Nebuta House, and the Apple logo at Aomori are all nearby. You can't go wrong with this hotel."

"Overall, it was pretty good. The biggest highlight was definitely the communal area on the 13th floor, where you can enjoy hot springs, read comics, and get massages. The room wasn't very big, and it felt a bit cramped if you stayed in at night with nothing to do. It's better to head up to the 13th floor for some relaxation and entertainment, and only return to the room when it's time to sleep. "So satisfied with our stay! 5 mins walk from station, food options nearby. Lobby is at L3, lobby is big and LOTS of amenities provided! Including bed room Slippers! Love the room size too! More than enough space to open our 3 big luggages. Toilet and bath area are separated.

"Though it may not be very near the bus terminal/ train station, it was very convenient for us to walk to the bus terminal/train station every morning which was near the Tourist Information Centre, Aomori City.
As for the hotel room, it was very comfortable and the breakfast spread was substantial indeed.
Would I still book a room in JAL CITY AOMORI when I next visit Aomori? YES, I certainly would!
It’s still the BEST location for me to visit the places around the vicinity. There is indeed SO MUCH to see around the hotel. The A-FACTORY is one of the FUN places of interest in AOMORI. YAY!"

"Aomori City was experiencing a terrible snowfall that day, so we arrived about two hours later than planned. We contacted them while driving to inform them that we would be delayed, and finally arrived much later than planned, driving through the heavy snow, but the response and consideration of the front desk staff was heartwarming."

"I thought that 1km from the station would be a comfortable distance, but if you walk in the wind and snow in winter, it will be completely different. It really looks far away, and the service is very good.The hotel offers free apple juice in the lobby, which is also a local specialty."

GGuest UserTake a look at the top picture. This hotel is very close to the train station. The problem is that Shin-Aomori Station itself is very remote. There is really no convenience store near the hotel. You have to walk for more than ten minutes to find one.
It is strongly recommended that if you are traveling to Aomori, it is more convenient to stay at Aomori Station. It is convenient to go to Oirase Stream or Nebuta House, and there are many foods.
The most exaggerated thing about this hotel is that if you stay in the room for a long time, if you don’t hang a sign outside, you won’t even pick up the garbage. This is a bit too much.
The Japanese hotels I stayed in before may not actively replace the linens if you stay for a long time, but shouldn’t normal garbage collection be the default?

AAnonymous UserFinding the location from Aomori station is a breeze! The amenities are great and kept super clean. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet—it had such a wonderful variety of options to choose from.
And to top it off, when I checked in on my birthday, they surprised me with complimentary drinks after welcoming me! How thoughtful is that?

Directly opposite the hotel, there's a restaurant serving delicious Miso Milk Ramen. If you turn right upon exiting the hotel and walk towards the station, you'll also find a renowned local restaurant specializing in sashimi and various scallop dishes.

MMaoniangThe room is very small, and the bed is only 1.4 meters wide, which is enough for two people to sleep for one night. There is no other way. If you can book a room on the day of the summer festival and the fireworks show, you have to make do with it. The bathroom is also very small. It takes about 4 bus stops to get to the station, and it takes nearly half an hour to walk back from the fireworks show. The price is 3-4 times the usual price. Check-in is upstairs, and the front desk, restaurant, and ”lobby” are all together and very small, which is at the level of an inn, and the hygiene is acceptable.

GGuest UserIt's a bit far from Aomori Station, about 500-600 meters, which takes only a few minutes in summer, but it's a chasm with luggage in winter. It's OK if you take the right road with a corridor. The room is a bit small and the light is a bit dim. It has everything it should have, but it looks old. My mood became gloomy as soon as I walked in. However, everything turned around after I took a hot spring bath. I like their hot spring very much, which is like an upgraded version of the Northern Bathhouse, with all fruits, very clean water, and you can take a bath while sitting. The outdoor pool is also very comfortable. It seems that all the people who come here to take a bath are locals. It's very clean. If the room is worth 200, the hot spring is worth at least 800. If you don't regard all the facilities as a hotel, but as a hot spring spa, it's full marks! The restaurant provides breakfast and dinner, which you have to eat barefoot. I don't understand. The foam of the Shenpao beer is good. In fact, this restaurant occupies a large area. There are 3 gates, one in each direction. After staying for two days, I realized it was time to leave. The only problem is that it is a bit far from the station. In winter, only the main road (in front of Aomori Station) has snow removal measures (spraying water to remove snow). This restaurant may take into account the location of the hot spring. There is no open space for snow removal at the door, which is also a problem. The breakfast is not bad, it looks very rustic, and the main focus is on localization, which is good!

DDearest1335It was a sudden search for a place to stay because Shinkansen had a problem, so I had to find a place before midnight. So I found this place. It's a bit far from JR Aomori, but it's walkable. The hotel is good and worth the price. There's a bathtub, TV, refrigerator, and kettle. The receptionist also provided good service. I was impressed. If you want a budget place to stay, this is the place for you.
