We only stayed two nights as part of a hiking tour. It was comfortable and had that we needed. Robert was a great host and was very available. The breakfast was great and the friendly conversation was wonderful. Learned a bit more about Bushmills!

This is a quaint charming B&B. We really enjoyed our stay. We were only there one night. Breakfast was very good. The server, Shay (I think that was her name) was very friendly and helpful. It’s easy to drive past the entrance so slow down as you approach. Walking distance to many places.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful, clean, quaint B&B for two nights. The location is perfect! Walkable to all main areas. Our room was in the first floor. Comfortable bed, pillows, clean, nice bathroom. Robert was an awesome host. He is very knowledgeable about the area and made himself available to teach us about the area and give us recommendations of where to go during the day. Robert is also a great cook! His breakfast was hardy and delicious. There is also parking behind the B&B and if it is full there is a small parking area within one block. I highly recommend a stay here!

A very nice place with a perfect location 2 min walk from the centre of Bushmills. The owner is very welcoming and is here is the morning to prepare hot breakfast of your choice. He also takes some time with the guests to give advices and recommendations for visits and itineraries

The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was spotless and the breakfast was great. Will stay here again. The location for seeing the Causeway Coast is excellent and of course you have the Bushmills Distillery round the corner which is a plus.

Really nice place, a short walk from the town centre. Clean, comfortable and good sized room. We were in the room at the front of the building so did get a bit of traffic noise (the road runs very close to the house), but not a big issue. Very good breakfast, cooked to order. The host seemed to have so much local knowledge and genuinely keen to help. If you want any local advice as well as a comfortable place to stay, this would be a very good choice.

This was THE most wonderful place I could have stayed. The room and facilities modern and spotless. surroundings: quiet. Bed: super comfortable. coffee machine: great & accessible 24/7. Delicious cooked breakfast. Robert, the owner, is the reason I I'm giving Portcaman House a 10 star review. The last reviewer said it best: he is the most warm, engaging and generous person you will every have to privilege to meet. My travel companion had a terrible hiking accident and Robert took the two of us under his wing. And this was 'after' we had checked out. He went above and beyond. I say this at the risk of never being able to book a room at his establishment as there will be no vacancies from here to eternity. I can only hope i will be back.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Bushmills. First of alllet me start off by saying that up until this stay I have not been a fan of B and B’s and I have avoided them. Bushmills offered very little options in the way of accommodation so we hesitantly booked here. I had nothing to be hesitant about. The place is spotlessly clean, and the room offered all of the amenities that any regular hotel would offer including your own ensuite bathroom and shower as well as a flat screen TV and wifi. The breakfast was hearty and excellent and the commercial hot drinks machine offered plenty of choices for your morning beverage. The star of this property however is Robert, the owner. He is the most warm, engaging and welcoming individual you will ever have the privilege to meet. He alone is worth staying here. There is nothing he will not do for you to make your stay the best experience it can be. Bushmills as a town is in the midst of a renaissance. New residences are already under construction and this town will be an entirely different place in ten years, not as quaint and authentic as it is now. Go and spend a couple of nights here now before it becomes a tourist hot spot. You will not regret it.
