"Some distance from the subway station When arriving, the employee informed that the actual check-in time was 10PM, which did not match the 3PM written on ctrip. Therefore, you need to contact ctrip to solve the problem in the future. The room is quite large There are also some restaurants and shops nearby Overall good value for money"

"Overall, the hotel I stayed at was very comfortable. What was particularly good was that the staff could speak Japanese. Although I was staying overseas, I felt at ease because I was able to check in and out smoothly without worrying about the language. There was also a convenience store in the hotel that was open until late at night, so it was convenient for small shopping and snacks. The room door was auto-locked, so I felt safe in terms of security. The subway and bus stations are within walking distance, so it is a convenient location for sightseeing and travel. On the other hand, there were a few things that bothered me a little. First of all, there are many slopes around the hotel (see photo), so it was a bit difficult to move around with a suitcase. Also, some of the outlets in the room were not working, and at first I was confused as to whether it was broken. In addition, there was always a strong perfume-like smell near the elevator, which may be a bit bothersome for those who are sensitive to smells. However, overall I had a comfortable stay, so it was a hotel I would like to use again."

"I didn't like staying at the hotel for the following reasons: 1. You can only go to the pool once a day, they won't let you in a second time 2. There's a paid sauna which just has 3 small pools with water of different temperatures 3. There's no hand soap in the room and l literally had to beg for it 4. The hotel description says there's an exclusive beach area, but there are no sun loungers downstairs and swimming is prohibited near the hotel 5. Turndown service was only once out of 3 days 6. There was an unpleasant smell from the carpet on the 16th and 17th floors. 7. Dirty windows 8. No welcome surprises except for tea for two from a bag 9. No slippers for the pool 10. Only a paid and terribly uncomfortable hat for the pool 11. There are paid sun loungers by the pool. This is one of the most expensive hotels in Busan and there are so many stupid restrictions and constant demands to pay extra, I don't recommend it, I'm disappointed, this is not a 5 star hotel("

"Dear Lotte Hotel Busan Team, I recently stayed at your property and would like to thank your staff for their hospitality. I truly appreciated the comfort of the room, the excellent location, and the warm and courteous service throughout my visit. However, I would like to share one piece of feedback that left a less-than-positive impression. As a guest staying at a premium hotel like Lotte, I had expected that access to facilities such as the pool, sauna and gym would be included as part of the room package. It was surprising to discover that these amenities require an additional fee per entry, which was not clearly stated during the booking process. Lotte Hotel is positioned as a high-end destination, and in that context, this policy felt out of place. It gave the impression that the hotel—despite its elegance—is being unnecessarily restrictive with services that most guests would reasonably expect to be included. I hope you might consider reviewing this policy in the future. A more inclusive approach would better reflect the refined image that Lotte is known for. Thank you once again for the otherwise lovely stay. Warm regards,"

KKristina_MinThe service was great — we got a check-in without any problems, the video instructions on how to get to the hotel from KTX and how to store luggage in the storage were helpful, and the hotel itself is located in a very convenient manner. It took us about an hour to get to the main spots of out interests — Gwangnalli Beach, Songdo Beach, Gamcheon Culture Village and so on. Also the room itself was amazing — really comfortable beds, shower with all amenities, nice massage chair. Amazing view from the windows! Great place to stay for a couple of nights in Busan.

AAnonymous UserHotel location was great, 2 crossing away from Haeundae Beach, and 10min walk from Haeundae train station, and many restaurants, shops and convenience stores that were open till late night. The room was clean, spacious and staff was friendly, was even allowed to check in earlier if I signed up for their free membership. Overall a great experience, just remember to bring your own Toothbrush or razor, or you could buy it from their vending machine located at check in area

JJonahesqueThe hotel is located right across from Busan Station so it’s quite accessible to many parts of the city and getting to other cities. However, in the vicinity, there’s really not much to do except for a “Texas Street” and the Chinatown, which don’t really have much interesting spots either. Regarding the hotel itself, it’s clean wherever we’ve come across but there are insufficient facilities and amenities. Firstly, the there are only 3 lifts which fit no more than 10 people while there are 19 guest floors (L3-21) with about 19 rooms per floor (I believe this varies but I was on the 19th floor and there were 19 rooms). In total there are supposed to be 357 rooms, which is absolutely abysmally served by the ridiculously small and slow lifts. During peak hours, it took over 15 minutes to get up and down just to get water. Secondly, while the hotel did provide some amenities like soaps, combs, pajamas, etc., there was no shaver or toothbrush or toothpaste which were the most essential items and we had no use for the free stuff they provided. Service is okay - some staff are not very friendly or helpful but others are approachable and can communicate in English. There’s free breakfast as well, but timings are very short and early (06:30AM to 09:00AM) so we didn’t manage to try it at all. They’re also very strict with check-in timings so don’t expect to get any early check-in. I’m sure some rooms might be available but they definitely will not give it to you even if it’s not occupied.

GGuest UserThe hotel is really located very well. The main street has everything and more. Close to subway, buses, subway exit (which is the closest to the hotel) with elevator. The minus of the hotel is the absence of breakfasts, the hotel does not have any arrangements even with nearby restaurants. Reception will not advise anything, in fact there is just for check in and check out. Rooms are large with good bed, a small view of the beach. Windows are opening. Air conditioning works. the corridors carpeted (you won't hear suitcases), soundproofing is good (I have a sensitive sleep). Cleaned well. Shampoo, shower gel and soap is there, but the quality is so so. Just 3 stars hotel.

CChenyiruIt was very comfortable to take a bath in the bathtub. Fortunately, the guy at the counter let us in to rest early after we arrived. Except that the waiting time for hot water is quite long. Overall service was very good. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as a convenience store and small vendors selling fruits and other things.

WWBooked a room with ocean view, and the staff is kinda to give me the highest floor (31st floor). The view is breathtaking! Loving the sound of the sea at night and the cool ocean breeze in the day. You can open the door to the balcony to enjoy the ocean view fully. The room is clean, quiet, and spacious. I like that the hotel is environmentally-conscious, so there’s no disposable amenities like toothpaste, toothbrush, comb etc. it’s good to bring your own for your stay here. The room provides leather slippers and 3 bottles of drinking water. The table is long so there’s plenty of space for working. The location is fabulous. Downstairs there’s a coffee and a bar. There’s also an olive young shop and a 23-hour pork soup shop about 50m away. Haeundae beach is about 50 m away. It is about 150m from Haeundae station. This street has a lot of shops that open late at night, and several convenience stores.

EEdward MarcoI recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Elephant in Busan, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character. Check-in & First Impressions: Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel. Room: I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area. The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value. Amenities & Services: While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything. Location: This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night. Staff & Hospitality: Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected. Overall Impression: Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.

IIanFantastic location. Hotel is located right behind the main shopping street is a quiet area. Basic amenities like auto refilling drinking water machine and coffee machine. There is also a small 'hole in the wall' shop just outside the hotel selling fabulous French crepes. Only complaint is the lousy attitude shown by the manager. I booked for 3 nights with another extension for 4 nights (7 nights in total). I stated that I use a mobility device because of my disability in the booking. During check in, upon seeing me, he made feel very unwelcome. He told me to find other hotels and asked me to cancel my booking, claiming that my mobility device will spoil the room. Such a ludicrous remark to make. We had a heated argument eventually as I was very upset a him for being discriminatory. i insisted in staying as it was fully paid. It was my first time in Busan, thus I don't wish to spend my holiday looking for hotels. Btw, the room was perfectly fine. Never felt so unwelcome in my life. Location is its only saving grace. However there are numerous hotels around the area after we got to know the place better.

GGuest UserThe good - clean room - very comfortable bed and bedding - great sound proofing within the hotel - great if you’re going out all day The bad - I stayed 4 days and there was only 1x housekeeping. I was told this on check in. But this was not on the booking details. You have to inform them before 1pm each day. - a semi wet bathroom - facing the main road, you can hear the vehicles (I was on the 7th floor) - toiletries are not provided and need to be purchased from vending machine (not a problem but should be listed on booking) - other than Nampo, and Jalgachi seafood market. There’s not much around, and it’s quite far from everything else in Busan. - I asked for an extra pillow 1 night, and the front desk said “house keeping has closed for the day”. Ok even if that’s the case, surely they can go into the store room themselves to get me an extra pillow. I wasn’t asking for them to clean or anything. - this weird vending machine looking thing was also on my counter and it didn’t even work. No clue what it’s for.
