Aank Resort & Spa Busan Haeundae

We came for a short weekend getaway with the family. The location was decent, and the interior facilities were good. The main issue was parking. The parking space is cramped and insufficient. There were also areas near the parking lot where trash was piled up. The real problem started when I parked my car in a spot the hotel staff recommended, right at the hotel entrance, and my car ended up covered in bird droppings. It was so bad that I couldn't check out immediately (see photo). Our travel plans got messed up because we had to wash the car before heading out. I requested compensation for a basic car wash, and they said they'd check with headquarters (?) and get back to me. But, I never received a call. When I called them, they said headquarters hadn't confirmed yet but would call back immediately after checking. I wonder if they were even checking at all. The answer I got was that they couldn't even compensate for a machine car wash. It's not about the 10,000 won; it felt like they completely disregarded a customer who had their car covered in bird droppings while on vacation. They claimed it wasn't a hotel building issue, but if you look at the photo, the problem is that the parking line was drawn right under a spot where birds perch. Moreover, upon checking, it seems this 'Anuk Hotel' doesn't even have a headquarters structure. So, how were they checking instructions with a headquarters? While the interior design and spa weren't bad, this experience solidified the image of 'Anuk' as a brand that doesn't care about its customers, a brand of lies and untrustworthiness.

A very good hotel. I was a bit worried since there weren't many reviews, but my expectations were more than met. 1. The reception and sauna are in one building, while the guest rooms are in separate, adjacent buildings. I got a little confused at first. 2. The staff at the front desk understood English, so there were no issues there. Everyone was polite. 3. The sauna is fantastic. It's open 24/7, except for a cleaning break during lunchtime. 4. Housekeeping is available upon request; just let the front desk know. They do a good job cleaning and replacing linens and towels. Thumbs up! 5. There are lots of shops and cafes nearby; the neighborhood is perfect. I explored other areas, but I liked this one the best. 6. I particularly loved my room. In Seoul, I had a tiny, modest room for the same price.

Great location, especially convenient if you're driving as there's a car park. The room we booked had an indoor hot tub and an outdoor spa, which was fantastic. I'd definitely consider staying at this hotel again next time I'm in Haeundae, Busan.

Very pleasant hotel. Convenient bathroom, orthopedic pillows, and the beach is not far away. Lots of restaurants nearby. The only downside: it was dirty. Hair in the shower and a very dirty window.

The accommodation was in a great location and very clean, which I loved. The open-plan bathtub was a bit unusual, but it was so clean and smelled wonderful, making for a very pleasant stay.
