I stayed here for one night for Oasis at Heaton Park on Friday 11 July - while the hotel is what you would expect from the Premier Inn, it was the staff and their amazing attention to detail that made my stay so wonderful. I paid for early check in given I arrived on the day of the gig - I was met with a friendly smile and quick check in along with everything I needed to get to Heaton Park (tram literally around the corner) - and even better that after the gig the bar was open late and with pizzas available from 10pm! My room was big and with much needed air con given the heatwave. I ordered drinks at the bar beforehand and everything was very reasonably priced. If you’re going to a gig at Heaton Park this is the place to stay for ease of getting there and back. It was so easy both ways, and even better there was no queue for the tram to Bury on the way back. After the gig I returned to the hotel and welcomed back with a cheery smile at the door asking if I’d had a good time. I ordered a drink and much needed pizza at the bar - and given how busy they were I only waited about 15 mins for the pizza. It was only £12.95 and refuelled me after a day of just cider and ice cream in the park! Breakfast was served until 11am which was great - plenty of choice for a full cooked breakfast as well as bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and cereal. The atmosphere among the guests throughout my stay was great - everyone was going to the gig. All the staff from check in, the bar, door man at night to the housekeeping staff and those at breakfast in the morning were all lovely and friendly throughout. I loved the special touches too such as the Oasis welcome note in the room. Would highly recommend - excellent value for money and the staff were exceptional. I only paid £89 for my room and added early check in and breakfast - exceptional value given the prices elsewhere.
