A delightful pub with beautiful rooms, superb staff & very good food! Stayed here two nights in a room that used to be the Piggery apparently and we were delighted with it. Bed was comfy, linens good quality, shower was excellent the room had everything we needed & spotlessly clean! Food was very, very good - starters were especially good as were the breakfast choices. But what stood out for me were the staff! Friendly, efficient & excellent in their roles. If only more pubs were like the Langford Inn I’m quite sure people would visit them more often. Highly, highly recommend.

The Langford Inn is a real find and definitely on my list of places to go back to. Warm welcome, attentive staff, well equipped gorgeous rooms and outstanding food. Ideally situated for exploring the locality. As a solo traveller I was really looked after in the bar/restaurant in the evening. Best scrambled eggs for breakfast that I have ever had ( outside of my own kitchen!)

Unfortunately, the room we'd booked in the stable yard had an unexpected problem with the exterior door lock jamming, and as staff were unable to unlock it, they kindly gave us a very comfortable suite with Super King Size bed and seating area on the mezzanine floor . Going above and beyond, we were delighted with their prompt attention to the problem. Every member of staff showed the same consideration throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was exceptional with numerous choices. My only niggle was Butcombe Breweries' choice of sourdough bread only, as I would have preferred a granary or brown bread. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

We booked for 4 nights in the Blagdon suite during a coldish February week Here's the cons: The suite, while having a very comfortable bed and cosy mezzanine lounge, in our opinion the room needs more lighting, as only two small skylight windows. Also urgently requires a draught excluder to cover the half inch gap under the main entrance door - the room was cold enough at night, even with the heater on, to require our coats on top of the very thin and synthetic duvet; also requires a new bed throw to replace the existing one which had a large hole in it. And personally, I'd remove all the plastic plants - unnecessary. Also attention needs to be given to the outdoor areas, which although winter, still require the overflowing ashtrays to be regularly emptied - not a good look. Now the excellent pros: very comfortably furnished pub, with outstanding staff and exceptional food (best fish and chips we've ever tasted!) - our huge thanks to chefs Charlie and James, and bar/waiting staff Charlotte, Jess, Olivia, Jack and Ollie and housekeeper Claire. Made our stay memorable! With the few easy tweaks as above definitely a five!

My husband and I stayed one night in the Sandford room, which was spacious, warm and quiet. We dined in the restaurant and the food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The bed was extremely comfortable and we both had a good night's sleep. We wished we had stayed longer, but we'll be back!

A very friendly and warm welcome which continued throughout our stay. Food very good indeed and slightly different menus which were very appealing. Good range of beers at the bar. Couldn’t fault anything and would certainly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was relaxed, comfortable and everything was at a very high standard. Warm welcome upon arrival, our room was large, clean and with good amenities, the bathroom was new as was the rest of the room and it was “just the job!” I’m always slightly wary of the menu when staying three nights in the same place but any reservations were totally unfounded. The menu, the quality of produce and the way it was cooked, presented and served was absolutely superb. Every dish was of the highest quality, starters, meat, fish and puddings were all without fault and sincere thanks to Carl, Will and the whole team in the kitchen. You really are very, very good. On a wider note of recognition the others in the team we had encounters with were all professional and friendly; at the risk of forgetting someone, (for which I apologise), Lauren and Charlotte who run the show are exemplars for the hospitality industry and Charlotte, if you want it, go for promotion. You would be brilliant! Jess, Jack, Elisah all deserve mention and individually and collectively they added huge value to our stay. Not forgetting Claire and Sophie who freshened our room. Thank you. Jonathon Lawson take note, from a customer perspective you have a dream team here, doing a great job and serving terrific food

We chose The Langford Inn because we had enjoyed happy stays at others in the Butcombe Inns group and, primarily, because it's location made it a good option for a halfway(ish) stop on the way to Devon...and we could not have made a better choice. The inn is extremely comfortable, our room was very generously sized and spotless and all the public areas are charming. Service was really friendly and welcoming, with a relaxed but efficient style that we very much like but can be very hard to find. Breakfasts were excellent and we ate in both evenings, enjoying genuinely terrific meals...all the food was delicious and the fish dish that I had on our first night was the best piece e of fish cookery that I have been served in years. We would recommend the Langford In very highly indeed, it would make a great base for exploring North Somerset and the Bristol area and is very convenient for Bristol airport.
